This is unarguably the most beautiful location where I have stayed at thus far in my life, though I hope to see a lot more in years to come. The ever changing colour of the waters is so enchanting that you can’t help but sit there in awe and admiration. The little patch of sand in front of the resort feels like a private beach though you’d have to ignore the occasional sound of the boats that keep moving during the daytime. As the dusk approaches, the entire beach is left to you to soak in all the beauty Mother Nature has to offer. The beachfront restaurant offers great food at good prices. The only downside, if any is that the cottages(not sure if all of them) don’t come with attached washrooms. There is a common washroom by the restaurant that is very neatly maintained hence it is not much of an issue. The resort provides free boat taxi services to pick you up and drop you back to the main pier. If you choose to walk, there is a 20 odd minutes walk through the island. We didn’t explore the neighbourhood to see if there are alternate food options. The resort in it’s totality is the best choice if you’re around Long Beach or otherwise in the Phi Phi Don Islands. I hope I get to return here soon.

Beautiful wooden huts on the top of the hill and steeped in the jungle! You have a small beach at your feet with nice coral and lots of fish! There is a very short jungle path to Long Beach. The restaurant is good and you will not miss out if you are too lazy to leave the resort! On top of that the staff are very helpful! However, note this is a nature resort indeed as it is literally in the jungle, so expect a couple of bugs in and out!

Love this resort! It’s super clean, great for people have sinus issues like me, big space and friendly staffs 👍🏻 value for money, have some simple board games provided too. Do check out the lobby lounge. Great stays for young people or sporty healthy older age groups, but I would not recommend have difficulty to walk people to stay here, as it has no transportation (only boat before 3pm) to go out or come back at night (MUST WALK IN THE DARK). My friends and I have no problems to walk at night with torch light just be cautious, some parts of the path has road lights too. Might be a bit dangerous if it’s a rainy night, due to darkness and slippery terrain. Hotel is pet friendly, you will see many dogs and cats here. No room services such as ordering foods here, can head to the restaurant for dine in. Breakfast tastes is so so but can eat, however lunch and dinner menu are delicious (all dishes are not too spicy like average Thai foods) perhaps they have customized to foreigners’ tastebud, you shall request more spicy if you like it.

We stayed here in October and it is a special place. The staff upgraded us to the Grand Villa and it was magical. A big tree house but a luxury version. We had visits from the monkeys one evening and that was amazing to see. The private beach is a slice of paradise and the food each day was lovely. Quite a walk into town so you need to be quite fit but you feel like you are in the jungle where the resort is located. It is a great retreat away from the more touristy parts. The staff were very happy and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We cannot wait to go back. We recommend booking a private longboat tour instead of a group tour as then you can literally go wherever you want on your timeline. Go to monkey Island, maya Bay, ask the captain to take you to the best snorkelling spots. Anything. A great trip.

I am satisfied with my stay here. Their private beach is amazing. We can do snorkeling by ourselves. It is also walking distance to the long beach. It is a little bit far from the main area but it worth to stay there. Especially if you want to avoid the crowds. They provided a lot of things like sleeping wear, beach towels, sandals for inside the room, etc. The room was clean. The breakfast was average but it is fulfilling. One thing they need to improve was the water from the tap was dirty. It was yellowish and there were something black like dust. That is why, we could not drink tea and coffee inside the room. I loved the beach there. I am glad that i chose here to stay!!

A very pleasant hotel, it could deserve 4,5/5. The rooms are beautiful (and quite high, so we had monkeys visiting our balcony). The access from Tonsai is easy with the free shuttle of the hotel. Everything is well organized and works well, like the check-in and check-out with the staff that takes your luggage to or from your room... I was very impressed. The restaurant is good too : the thing to improve is to synchronize dishes of a same table... My husband had finished to eat and I hadn't even begun (that happened everytime we ate there).

The rooms were nice and very typical for Thailand. Despite a working AC it was still very humid in there, compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in. In my opinion the location is perfect, you have a beautiful beach where you can see a lot of fish while snorkeling. You can swim easily to the Long Beach (beach on the left hand side) and the walk to the city is around 15min long but definitely doable! Moreover we booked a private boat trip and went kayaking both offered by a very small penny by the hotel - very nice!:) All in one week enjoyed our 4 nights stay and would recommend it.

A beautiful rustic resort nestled amongst the trees with a stunning private beach. We stayed in an amazing Makmai, a spacious wooden house built into the side of a hill with a large living area and palatial bathroom! The staff are friendly and very helpful. Easily one of the best places I've stayed at in Thailand, go there to relax by the beach and forget about the world.

One of the most amazing vacation stops of my life! Incredible views and location, lovely and attentive staff in one of the most unique locations you will ever have the pleasure of visiting. Your visit begins with hoping off ferry boat, barefoot thru the sand while porters grab your bags and immediately treat you to a delicious icy cocktail before you even reach reception. Every visit will be different, but yours will end with a need to return soon and with kind smiles, bows, and waving hands as the Ferry boat takes you back to reality. Magical spot!

We stayed in M10B room. Room was cleaned every day and towels replaced. It is spacious and AC worked well. We like the pajamas and slippers provided, it’s a nice touch. The view from the room was great! You can hear boats passing by, so if you are looking for complete silence, consider different hotel. I would say the rooms need some renovation. Also the tap water had weird smell, I guess it’s no filtered properly. The beach is amazing, exclusive for hotel guests. There are some beanbags which are comfy. The breakfast is VERY basic, I expected to see more fruit variety. Lunch was ok, but we had better food for cheaper in the town. It’s a 20-30 min walk to the center. The free shuttle from hotel is only for check in and check out. If you wish to go to the town, it’s 100 bt, and not on demand, only twice a day.

We stayed here for 2 nights and the stay was sort of okay. With other options on the island, I feel this can be a deal breaker at this price point. The hotel is located a little further from the main market area. There is a well marked and rather scenic trail that you can follow which will take you to the main market in about 30 mins. Somethings went fine: - Decent liveable rooms. We had a beach view room but only a little part of beach is visible. Technically it was a beach view room. - Vegetarian item (one)in morning breakfast along with other usual stuff like breads, fruits, cereals etc. More options for non vegetarians. - I liked that it is further from all the loud music. - Pickup and Drop to the pier when you arrive/leave. There are scheduled free transfers available and for any other time they help us arrange with a fee. - Has a private small beach where you can snorkel and chill. Somethings that I didn’t like: - This is an old place and has all the wooden huts/cottages. Some might like the rustic look and feel but I personally would avoid it. Dim light in the room also adds to the overall feeling you get in the room. - Deposit for room keys/damages. This is a common practice on the island. Mostly every hotel will ask for it. No issues in getting it back though at this place unless you have damaged something. - Bathroom smells. As soon as the water goes down the drain a nasty smells starts coming. We avoided taking a shower on purpose on check out day due to this reason. Again this is an issue with a lot of hotels in Phi Phi due to a lack of proper drainage system on the island. - For the price this place quotes, I feel overall it is not value for money.

This place is magic!! The location is like something from a movie. Rooms in the jungle with monkeys running around and aqua waters on your own little private beach. The staff are very friendly and you can book tours and taxi boats directly from the hotel at a fairly reasonable price. Also a massive highlight for me was the food. They made some of the best Thai dishes I had in Thailand as a whole, and they do fresh seafood on the coals of a night time. The rooms aren’t what you would find in a luxury resort, they’re very rustic and make use of a timber hut aesthetic but I actually really like it, it blends well with the jungle around it and just made sense. The rooms are also massive compared to a normal hotel which is a nice change. Definitely the place to stay at Phi Phi.

We had a really good experience in this hotel. Rooms are really nice and clean. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. A free transfer to the hotel was waiting for us when we got of the ferry The private beach is amazing and the restaurant /chill out bar was a delight, prices are not super expensive considering it is in an hotel It’s about 20 min walk to town

The bungalows are surrounded by the forest. The room size is small but 3 small and quite beaches are easily reachable on foot. Buffet breakfast is abundant, with enough options. We liked the coconut pancakes.

+++++ Happy place, wonderful place with own beach. We had a deluxe room and it was really big and comfortable. Trail to the center about 30mins. Not that jungle as some people describe. - Waiter attention and cocktails can be improved. Some longtailboats are really noisy. Very happy place to stay. See you ♥️

I think the experience in this hotel depends very much on the type of room you get. We booked 'grand superior double room' our room was B1, just right to the restaurant and right next to the beach so this was nice. However, there was nothing superior about the room and it was very humid inside. Our friends stayed in a villa and really loved it. The restaurant has a nice barbeque at night and tasty 🍹. The staff people don't speak much English but are very helpful and kind-hearted. I think it's a good place to stay for a night or two, in a villa :) and enjoy the little private beach which is so calm and peaceful. It's a great escape from the buzzing towns.

staff is so kind and helpful and the rooms are beautiful. great food and spot on the island. has a private beach for people staying at the hotel as well as a restaurant looking over the beach. definitely one of the best hotels on the island. 10000% recommend

Great place, far enough away from the town that you can get some private beaches and privacy but close enough that it’s a short 20 minute or so walk to get to town. The room was clean and comfortable and cleaned daily but too small for much space for our luggage. Food was pretty good at the restaurant and staff were super helpful. The three private beaches you have access to is the highlight and I was able to chill and get some work done on the hammock.

We booked the beach hut right on the water via Airbnb. It was just a dream. The bed is very comfortable and the room has air conditioning. Although the room does not have a bathroom, you can shower and use the resort's toilet a few meters away. That didn't pose a problem for us. The proximity to the beach was the absolute highlight. At night we heard the sound of the waves and in the morning we were able to jump straight into the water. Vegetarians and vegans will also be satisfied here. Large selection. Vegan Pad Thai, curry (..) everything is possible. The staff was super friendly and helpful. When we arrived there was a welcome drink. They organized everything for us such as the ferry to Krabi or a private tour to the hotspots of Koh Phi Phi.🌴☀️

Beautiful resort and private beach perfectly located with beaches either side. Good food if service a tad slow. Good breakfast and stunning beach for swimming and snorkelling. The views from our accommodation 2nd to none and monkeys visiting us on our balcony. Magical stay many thanks.

Very disappointed. Look elsewhere. Too far from town (in bad way) with limited access. When tide is low, you can’t take a boat to get out then it’s a tough 30-40 minute walk through jungle. We Booked, 1 villa two bedrooms and got 2 villas each with one bedroom ark!!! In front of the resort is a literal highway of longboats with very loud engines… it’s not relaxing, very loud. We didn’t have hot water, had to call twice to get them to turn it on. And paid for most expensive suite but absolutely no view. Def not worth it. There are quiet villas closer to town with much better quality service and experience for cheaper
