Cons: the staff at the restaurant is lazy. They are on their phones instead of coming to serve client. Not what i was expected for a luxurious resort. Pros: very well located. Amazing views. Private and calm villas, very clean. Good a/c and hot water. The beach is cute and just near shark point which is nice for snorkelling.

This was our second trip to Phi Phi and our second stay at Phi Phi The Beach Hotel! Our fist time, 4 years ago, we stayed a week and fell in love with the property so this time we stayed for over 2 weeks. We stayed in 120 this time which offers incredible ocean views and has a really nice, large deck. The staff is the best around. The included buffet-style breakfast every morning is a major plus because this hotel is not close to the main town - it’s a bit of a hike. Literally 🤪 But so worth the effort. The beach directly in front of the property is the best on Long Beach. I do have one negative to report: the beds. Just like 4 years ago, the beds are still pretty horrible. They are insanely hard. I hope one day the owners will update the rooms slightly, making more comfortable beds a priority! But besides the beds it’s paradise. I even asked my girlfriend to marry me this time on the beach in front of the property on our second day! She said yes! Haha. Thank you Phi Phi The Beach Resort - we will always remember you!!

We left our stay here earlier as we were done with the experience as a whole. Location wise it is horrible with the monopoly of taxi boats to get around. As the food and drinks at the resort itself are of very medium quality and because everything is overpriced, you want to get into town for a nice dinner, but are forced to take the taxi boats. However, these constantly try to rip you off or claim it’s not possible to go. We tried walking at night but this route was dark and did not look safe - we had to book a stay at a different hotel in town because unable to get back to resort. It would have been good to be briefed on this at arrival. We would advise against staying here if you have any plan to go into town for food and drinks, the taxi guys in Phi Phi are rude, sometimes aggressive and always try to rip you off at night. Overall rooms are clean. We had cold water on the first day and had a cockroach in our room, but fair to the resort: they were very quick in stopping by to take care of the problems. In the end, you are in the jungle. If you have your family and kids, it makes sense to stay here because food/drinks/pool are all taken care of, but if you are slightly adventurous we would advise to avoid this place.

Expected better service but wonderful location 6.0 Liked · Location 9/10, Room 7/10, hospitality 6/10 Location : this resort is secluded from the hustle bustle of the town. You get a tail boat ride to the resort Room: when we checked in the room there was a foul smell in the bathroom. After complaining our room was instantly changed. The room had a beautiful view. However, we struggled with cockroach, lizard and creepy crawlies in the room. Hospitality: Considering that this is a secluded resort and benchmarking against all my other stays in Thailand ( and also considering I paid the highest at this property) I expected much better in hospitality. It was a mixed bag - the restaurant and reception is very polite. However, the tour operators are extremely rude and don’t even provide suggestions ( you are all on your own). The shuttle drivers to the room were also extremely rude. We checked in at a partial sea view room which is an uphill climb to the highest level and considering their behavior we felt extremely guilty even asking for one. One shuttle driver even said “Go walking”. I would prefer much accommodating drivers specially when you live at a place wherein you see scorpions in the restaurants, people getting bit by centipede - that’s the last thing that any one would need on a trip to get sick with a bite. I really expected better and they have the potential only if they focus on the hospitality Disliked · In addition to what I wrote above I would like to place on record that the spas, tail boat and tours booked at this resort needs to be paid in cash and cannot be charged to the room ( I find this extremely strange and haven’t encountered this at any other Thailand resort but may be it isn’t). Also each time you need to go to withdraw / exchange cash you need to go to the town for which the tail boat guy charges 100 baht per person one way. Definitely needs improvement on integrating these services with the hotel and not work in silos which it is currently.

We LOVED our stay at Phi Phi The Beach Resort. The staff is friendly and helpful, the bungalows are nice and clean, and the location is breathtakingly beautiful. The entire property felt very safe. The private beach was lovely and not crowded at all and we were shocked at how low the prices were given how nice everything was. The restaurant also has beachside cocktail service, which was an added bonus. The massages were great, and most cocktails turned out wonderfully! We were only supposed to stay for two nights but ended up rearranging our travel plans and staying for three nights because of how much we loved it. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and hope to return one day!

Rooms have beautiful views overlooking the bay. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The food at the restaurant is delicious and good sized portions. Rooms are big and well cleaned. The mini fridge in the room is stocked each day with water and other beverages which are free! The staff were friendly and helpful. They offer a free boat ride too and from the pier when you check in and check out. Look for someone holding their sign when you first arrive at the pier. Phi Phi the beach resort is a paradise and we hope to come back again!

Hotel off the main part of Phi Phi Don on Long Beach. Hotel is accessible by boat. Cute room all in wood with great views. Be ready for a hike from beach to room though. The hill is steep! Restaurant was very good and right on the beach. Took a private long tail tour around Phi Phi Ley (500 THB, I think) and the snorkeling was GREAT! A little quieter than main town and good for relaxing if you want to get away from backpackers and day trippers or crowds. Beach is beautiful and at night there was a little fire show which was nice. Pools were OK, a bit dirty so we didn’t use them a lot.

This resort offers you the best view of phi phi island. Rooms were very neat and clean. All the staffs working there were friendly. They do offer pickup and dropout service to Tonsai pier. From the resort itself you can arrange phi phi island tour by using their boat services. Breakfast items was more than reasonable. Their in-house restaurants food quality is excellent. This resort is a perfect place to spend quality time with your loved ones.

First, the cons - the restaurant staff is SLOW. Not sure if due to being understaffed or just lazy. The breakfast cooks should be fired. Eggs overcooked. Bacon nearly burnt. The whole continental breakfast is underwhelming. The regular restaurant isn’t great either. Free mini bar, but don’t expect much - 2 waters, 4 small carbonated drinks. That’s it. No snacks. Also, do NOT book an island tour through the resort. Our guide barely spoke English, didn’t take us to all the places specified, & gave us a bottle of water each & 2 miserable looking snacks for the 6 hour trip. Pros - LOCATION. Beautiful views. Well isolated away from the crowded beaches at Tonsai Pier. Plenty of beachfront right in front of the hotel. Rooms aren’t luxurious but they’re decent. Shower room was huge. Restaurant next to the massage place had better food than the hotel. I had a foot massage & it was pretty good. Out near the rocky area, there are black-tip reef sharks. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any & found out about them too late in our stay.

Miss it already! Would come back in a heartbeat. The resort itself is well kept and maintained. The beach is beautiful and private, not full of tourists, and good for snorkeling. Easy to take a long tail boat into phiphi town for food or shopping. Highly recommend!!

Excellent place and location, right at the long beach. The place is so beautiful, green, clean well lighted and decorated. Amazing place to get good pictures clicked. Great for family, friends and couples. Close to the viewpoint also. Food is amazing. They made me special vegetarian pizza. Happy hour, amazing party, snorkelling and scuba diving. Massage centre is also good. Amazing experience, loved it. Staff is very humble. Vibe of Thailand✨

Located on the beach which is very nice. From service point of view I feel they could improve a lot. zero customization allowed on food menu for dinner, the resort is an uphill climb and very difficult to call for the pickup cart which took ages to come, stayed for just 1 night but would not prefer to stay again. Will prefer to stay closer to phi phi town which is more buzzing during evenings and night. For small things like snorkeling equipment they require 1000 bath deposit for each equipment taken, for some reasons the credit card deposit is not enough . They need to be more customer centric for sure.

The restaurant staff at this resort are phenomenal. This is our second visit & we have loved it. There's amazing snorkeling out front & the beach has some of the softest sand I've seen. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for families. The only thing that could be improved is the front desk staff could be a bit more friendly.

Best on the island. Decent food. PADI 5 stat Scuba/Dive shop on site. Best views from the superior rooms. Me and my wife had the best 4 days here. Much recommended!

Unreal. We had a beach view hut and I just can't describe the beauty. Our hut required a strenuous trek up 3 steep flight of stairs so keep that in mind for those that may not have as much mobility. Restaurant had good food (was a little more pricey than other places) but the location was wonderful. Beautiful beach. 10 minute long boat ride to the main area of the island. Shark point was within swimming distance. Snorkeling and kayak gear is available for rent. I would have stayed there forever if I could.

Loved it. Staff were wonderful, a beautiful beach with good snorkeling, independent beach bar right next door. The hotel has a great beachy casual vibe. Rooms were large, well appointed, we were higher up on the incline so had a great view. The walk is not too steep but the staff will drop you off with a shuttle if needed. Massage available on site, as well as a diving centre, and two restaurants. Water taxis are available for about 100baht pp if you want to go to the main town. The restaurant food was very good, the breakfast buffet was diverse. We will definitely go again.

After 2 months in Thailand, I can confidently say this is the worst hotel we've stayed in, and one of the most expensive. Several reviews highlight the issues below, so we weren't isolated cases. The value for money is completely lacking. Additionally, everything onsite is paid, making us feel like mere wallets. Far from the kindness and hospitality we're accustomed to during our stay. It costs 200 THB for two, or if you're alone on a boat, to get to the city center—more expensive in the evening. This is the only means of transportation, as the reception staff told us there were no scooters on the island, despite roads leading to the city center (with scooters using them). The staff (except in the 2 restaurants) is disdainful, rarely responding, and having no desire to help, especially the beach bar employees handling boat tour reservations. A car takes you to the room, but you must figure out how to get down, inconvenient, especially for families. Regarding the room, the wifi constantly disconnects, the TV is set in Thai, making it very complicated to set up the wifi to use it. The bathroom had a horrible smell. The balcony is clearly not designed for rain. In essence, this hotel tries to project itself as a luxurious resort on a beach away from the city, but it lacks luxury. It clearly does not deserve its price. The only positive was the boat activity we booked at the hotel, but we also appreciated being away from the hotel.

If I could rate a negative star for this hotel I would. Be warned they will try to scam you at any cost and will happen when you checkout. We hadn’t even left the room and housekeeping was waiting outside our door to check the room so they can charge you. They charged me 300 baht for a small white towel because according to them my hair dye ruined the towel. They even threatened to call the POLICE. Avoid this hotel at all costs. SCAMMERS

This is a great place to stay on phi phi! Please note that you need to be mobile to enjoy this hotel. If the tide is low, a boat taxi cannot make it to the beach and the 40 minute hike from the town (either along the beach or over the hills through the forest) would be difficult at night and anytime for someone not fit for the walk. The rooms themselves are arrayed on a steep hill and I would suggest booking a room with an ocean view to get the best that the site has to offer and avoid being on the main moped way in the morning. The rooms are a little worn, but the views from your balcony are amazing. The beach in front of the resort is very nice and you can snorkel right off the resort and see quite a bit, especially at high tide. The bar on the beach ( a separate bar from the hotel) makes it easy to book day trips and rent snorkel equipment or a kayak. And they have a cool free fire show in the evening at nine. I recommend you tip the fire show guys well as the put on a good show, and you can even be part of the show if you are brave enough! Breakfast and the restaurant were also well done and there are other restaurants and a small minimart at other resorts along Long Beach if you don’t want to go to far for something a little different. All around, one of the best places to stay and chill on Koh phi phi!

Views were absolutely gorgeous! Pay the extra and do the deluxe sea view, it's so worth it! Room is gorgeous, they kindly decorated it for us for our honeymoon. Steps to a private beach, easy access to town via 5 min long boat ride (there are no land taxis on phi phi) and you can snorkel with tropical fish right infront of the hotel!

I come here several times because the view in the room is stunning and the beach is very nice and clean with soft sand and also the sea is like a big pool with clean and clear water. If you wanted private time and fully relax I highly recommend this resort. I also do kayak and take long tail boat to Maya bay such a nice time here.

I wouldn’t necessarily recommend a stay here. We booked the deluxe sea view for over 4000 baht per night plus a service charge, which is very over priced. The deluxe room was tiny, tiny closet, dark, smelly and damp, bed uncomfortable and room is not very clean. We climbed three sets of stairs to our room. Getting back to phi phi the beach resort after 9 pm was difficult. Pay 100 baht each way per person for a long boat ride to town. On-site restaurant food is terrible. Breakfast included but is not tasty. Many bugs, pools not maintained and therefore attracts bugs. Only positives are the drinks, view and friendly service

Amazing staff, wow I cannot say enough!!! They enjoy their jobs and you can tell the owner takes good care of them. The breakfast is sub-par and could be improved for sure along with the basic maintenance of the resort. The room was good, the bed a bit hard but overall good. They need to invest in breakfast and maintenance. I would go back because of the staff, the view, and the beach.

Everything was superb. Staff very attentive and helpful. Our bungalow were at the top of the hill, but we always had a hotel car to pick us or bring us to room❤️🤗 If you treat staff good, they will treat you good as well👍 Good coctails and tasty food at restaurant. Also easy to have shuttle to busy area of Phi Phi, cheap to come back as well and they ask what time we want to come back to hotel to provide boat back. Amazing views from our room and nice jungle sounds around when the sun sets.

We loved this place. The best Hotel in Phi Phi. Easy to get to with a very quick boat ride from the ferry. Relaxing beautiful beach, clean rooms, stunning setting, easy access. The walk up the hill to the room didn’t bother us at all. It’s an easy walk and the incredible view and the private bungalow is more than worth it. It was really easy to book longtail boat to visit Ko Phi Phi Lee, snorkelling or get to the main town from here. I’ve stayed at other places in Phi Phi before and this is defiantly my favourite.

Beautiful resort sitting at the end of a beautiful beach-long beach. Nice pools for the kids. Fire shows every night. Nice drinks. Stayed first in the superior partial see view cottage which is not recommend to families with little kids as the climb is really hard and its hard to get a shuttle. Then asked to transfer to the deluxe cottage which is closed to the pool that was grear with great view of the sea. The staff added two extra beds to our request. Food was average-we prefered the food of the paradise resort next by-also better prices.

The most fantastic views with private bungalows. Best reached by water taxi. There is also private boat service if you would like to go into town or visit Pi Leh Lagoon or Maya Bay. There is also a great restaurant and bar on the beach. Heaven!!

Loved this place, amazing resort. The staff was so kind friendly and welcoming. My accommodation has a stunning view of the sea. The food and drinks are so good. The best place to enjoy my vacation.

The bungalow was comfortable, and the AC worked well. The view from the bungalow’s balcony was incredible. The beach is nice, and it’s great that the hotel has umbrellas for the afternoon. The Happy Hour drinks at the restaurant are ok, the Mojito was my favorite. The breakfast buffet was good for the price, on Sunday they didn’t have the buffet. Not sure if that’s normal or not.

We stayed 2 nights at this Hotel from 23rd to 25th December. Pro: Very nice sea view bungalows. Amazing beach and sea. Nice restaurant in the garden below trees. Very nice and polite staff. Contra: Not enough beach seats. Beach seats a not comfortable. You are just laying on hard plastic. Not enough possibilities for having a shadow place. Very small breakfast menu without any variation.

Amazing stay at long Beach. The superior sea view room was gorgeous and the view was second to none. Super clean room and air conditioning had to be turned down it worked so good. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only reason I have rated The Beach resort with 4 stars instead of 5 is the food was OK but not 5 stars.we will recommend this resort!

One of the best stays we had in our Thailand trip. The rooms were clean and tidy. The beach was so relaxing and had good drinks on the menu. They had a private boat service to visit Phi Phi Islands and Maya bay. Would be great if they can have pick up service from Ton sai pier to hotel. Would definitely recommend the place for family stays.

We loved our stay at The Beach Resort. Our bungalow was so nice with the most amazing view. The staff were so kind and accommodating and Tiha and Sakai gave excellent service. We tried a few different restaurants during our stay around Phi Phi but nothing compared to the food at the hotel. It was delicious! They have snorkel gear to rent for cheap and kayaks and shark point is right there in front of the hotel so great activities too. Could not recommend this place more!
