I
wouldn't
recommend
this
hotel
unless
you
are
on
a
tight
budget
and
can
get
a
good
deal.
Things
I
liked:
great
location
(close
to
pier,
market,
restaurants
and
beach;
quiet
in
the
evenings
after
the
food
market
closes);
clean
rooms;
comfortable
bed;
good
A/C.
There
were
some
basic
things
I
missed:
a
bedside
table
(there
was
only
a
desk),
a
bedside
lamp
(there
was
only
1
bright
ceiling
light),
a
wall
socket
near
the
bed,
some
space
in
the
bathroom
to
put
toiletries
on.
I
stayed
in
two
different
rooms:
one
on
the
ground
floor
(called
Leela
Wadee),
and
a
room
one
floor
up.
The
difference
was
huge.
Upstairs
was
bright
with
natural
light.
Downstairs
was
dark,
humid,
depressing
and
smelled
of
damp.
The
rooms
were
generally
in
a
state
of
disrepair.
The
shower
head
leaked
and
the
water
drained
very
slowly.
The
walls
had
humid/mould
stains
and
flaking
paint.
The
owner
was
friendly
and
accommodating:
he
helped
with
luggage,
allowed
me
to
stay
in
a
room
upstairs
for
1
night
(although
he
tried
to
charge
me
extra
for
this),
and
listened
to
my
feedback.
When
I
asked
him
why
he
didn't
maintain
the
rooms
and
the
hotel,
he
said
he
had
other
businesses
and
travelled
to/from
Bangkok
regularly.
If
this
hotel
invested
a
bit
more
in
maintenance,
I
think
it
could
be
a
really
nice
place.
If
you
really
must
stay
here,
I
recommend
you
ask
for
a
room
on
the
second
floor.
