I've been to many hostels and this was the worst ever! We booked three nights there. When we arrived it was already a challenge to check in, because the guy at the "reception" nearly didn't speak english. Then he said to us, he could'nt put me and my brother together in a room. But after we complained (and the communication was still bad) he gave us one key and guided us to a room (more Info to the room later). At this time there was only one free bed and he said, we have to wait. So we waited in a room where the air con switches on at 6pm and it was like 3pm. Because we were very tired of the cruise to Phi Phi, we had to rest in one bed when finally one of our roommates came in, who was directly kicked out of the room again, so that we had two beds. Of course he was very angry and told us, it was the second time this happened to him. So we had two beds now and I had to remind the guy from the hostel 2 times to change the bed sheets. The room was more than dirty. There was mold on my pillow!!!! Additionally the were heaps of small insects everywhere: in the bathroom, on my bed and later on and in my belongings, something like small ants. So far...but the next surprise came on the second morning, when the guy came in our room and said we had to check out and tried to kick us out. We said no, we booked 3 nights and he came with some documents. After a longer discussion and after I showed him the proof on the Hostelword app he agreed with laughing and left. If you want to go to Koh Phi Phi DON'T go the October House!!

Stayed two nights in private room. it was okay for cheap hostel. But one bad was dirty and quite loud from the bar on another roof. Graet location in the middle of the town 5 min to both beaches 15 min to viewpoint.

Ac is very bad .it just work like desert coller No cleaness . Having noise too much from outsyd and from another rooms because it has also hostel in same floor. I take this for 1000 Baht. I never suggest any one for this .its worst then ever.

Honestly this place was completely fine for what you pay for. The staff were helpful with my bags, the bed was clean. The bathroom was basic but clean. Good shower pressure and they stored my bags for the morning after checkout. If you’re looking for a cheap place to put your head down, it’s ok.

We spent there 4 nights and no one cleaned our room, it was really difficult to regulate or turn off an air conditioner. There are some cafes and bar around where there is a loud music. Plus for location (its close to the pier and beach), cafe downstairs and really friendly staff.

I stayed 5 nights in a dorm. 350 baht ($10 USD at time of stay). A/C and fans, wifi in rooms, hot water, towel. Two bathrooms in a room of 8. Social area upstairs, restaurant downstairs (average). They cleaned the room and bathroom every day. Phi phi is a little more expensive than the mainland, therefore this is good value.

I stayed here with my friend for one night. It‘s nothing luxurious, just a dorm with a small bathroom, no common area, not a very friendly receptionist. But it is a bit away from all the noise in town and it‘s clean. I think you can get much worse on Koh Phi Phi if you‘re on a budget.

Amazing service the crew were really friendly, they gave tips about the island, all the rooms are clean and tidy. The food on the restaurant was great and it had good prices.
