Welcome to 2023, where my wife can't feel comfortable using the restroom thanks to the infinite wisdom that resulted in "they/them" bathrooms. The least you could do in light of this change is to redesign the bathroom stalls so that there isn't a visible gap allowing men to look at women while using the bathroom. Better yet, keep men's and women's restrooms and put a third restroom in for people that identify as something other than a man or woman.

Underground Arts was a good venue for Vivian Tu’s book tour While it wouldn’t have been where I anticipated coming to for a book tour, the sound was great, and it had a lively vibe

Intimate basement rock vibes combined with a stellar event schedule, yummy bar food and reasonable drink prices = how could you go wrong? I love UA. Best part is the bathroom art and the 2 stages and the sound. There are some rough site lines and the stage isn’t elevated too high so you really have to stand close to see.

A great venue went there to see some '90s cover bands and had the time of my life. They have a coat check for the winter months when you don't want to be cold walking in but can get hot and sweaty when you don't want to keep it on.

Cool subterranean space that feels spacious, but has an intimate vibe. Saw the French 79 here recently -- awesome show. Great sound and fun venue.

There is a bar near the stage which we were able to lean on during the show. There's also a great bar in the back with seating and screens to see the stage if you need a little break. The bathrooms were clean and never crowded. I loved the vibe and will definitely be back.

Underground Arts is probably my favorite venue in the city - the staff, the sound, the programming & location are all too notch. I’ve seen so many amazing bands & also have had the distinct pleasure of supporting many classic acts DJ’ing opening sets (see pics - opening for Gang of Four). I’ve seen David Johansen from the NY Dolls, X, Carcass, White Reaper, Earth Crisis, GBH, Stiff Little Fingers, Cold Cave, Low Cut Connie, Molchat Doma, Nitzer Ebb, She Wants Revenge here just to name a few!

Awesome venue, really niche and rare shows. The vibe is awesome. It's dark and eclectic, and the artwork on the walls is really cool. There's food and a bar, a little pricey but on par for concert venues. The bathrooms were really clean too. They had it decorated for Halloween when we were last there too, which was neat! Plenty of parking across the street in the lot, and the price wasn't too bad. $16 for the evening on a weeknight. If you're considering heading to a concert here, I highly recommend it!

I went to see Echoes the Pink Floyd cover/tribute band. They were awesome! I had a great time with 2 friends I brought to the show. Event was not crowded, and it was a really intimate experience.

Played here with my band. Hands down best venue experience I've had in over 10 years performing professionally. The staff was amazing from the moment we arrived till after we left, helped us load in and made sure we were taken care of during our stay. The stage and audio were top notch. The venue itself is full of all kinds of incredible art displays. Backstage was very accommodating, and the show room had plenty of space for everyone who came to be comfortable. Full bar and food available. Would love to play here again. Huge thanks to everyone on staff who made our night special!
