Just wanted to thank, and recommend, Velo Bike. I just purchased a “garage sale quality” bike and brought it in for a new saddle and brake installation, which employee Ramon did quickly, efficiently, professionally. THEN, I had a chain problem and brought it back, about 2 hours later — and they did the chain tightening, and wheel tightening quickly, and with no charge. Picture of bike is here…run-down, but still rolling, and they were gracious about fixing it, and generous, as noted. Velo is clearly a great choice for bike work, and I really appreciate what they did.

You guys are more than amazing. I needed a part for my bike which was old school. One of the people working got in his truck and drove to get me the part for my bike. But it not that he called various places to find my part. They go above and beyond to help a customer. I went back the next day and bought a bike. I seriously saying that they are by far the best bike shop in the Phoenix area..... Thanks so much for helping me.....

I cannot say enough good things about my experiences with the Velo. This year I’ve brought in two of my bicycles I’ve had for a couple of years to have some long-planned updates and upgrades installed. The entire staff has not only been incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and able to assist with all of my questions and needs, but they have also displayed an attention to detail I haven’t experienced anywhere else. My bikes have never ridden or looked better, and I want to give a big shout-out to Justin who works there, as his dedication to what he’s doing has made me feel like the attention being provided to my bikes is akin to what he would give his own. I would recommend this shop to any and everyone.

Both the entrance and parking are in the rear. Accepts both cash and card. These guys are great! They are knowledgeable, thorough, and always ready to answer all my [very novice] questions, which I appreciate very, very much. The shop is clean, well-organized, and ever-growing, offering up everything from assembled bikes to accessories to components to helmets, lights, and tires (oh my!)...the list keeps going. So, whether you just need a new tube or a gnarly gravel bike, this is the place to go. They also host a weekly, casual ride! Check them out.

Brought my Lectric bike in which had been having issues shifting. Javeen and the bike shop mascot (a dog named Charlie) welcomed us immediately. Justin fixed my bike in 10 minutes. He took it for a spin and also had me take it for a spin to make sure it was fixed. Very happy customer.

In like their pricing and service in regards to changing out tubes. I had "dropped" in a day before Thanksgiving and they were gracious enough to change out my pierced tube/flattened tire, so I could get back on the road. Usually they require appointment but they hooked me up on the spot. Gracias!

The shop is a little small but the service was excellent. They were able to help me with both my questions and quick service. Will definitely go back in the future.

Cool shop and all. But the vibe I received from returning a defective product I purchased from the velo shop, says it all. The gentleman that helped me makes me not want to come back. I rather go to Walmart and use a self service.

Took my E bike in for a tune up. The gears didn’t shift smoothly and a squeaky brake were the only issues I had. A few days after I picked the bike up I rode around the neighborhood and noticed a loud clicking/grinding noise. I took it back to the Velo and the person I spoke with said he didn’t hear anything. They checked a couple things and said maybe it would work itself out. They didn’t even put the bike back on the rack or they would have seen a bent spoke which I found a few days later. I called the shop and explained what I had found. The person said he was just a tech but email the manager and they would make things right. Two emails later and no response from the manager. To make things worse I took the bike to another shop to get the spoke repaired and their mechanic said all of the spokes were under tension and I may need a new rear wheel. I am frustrated with the service I received (or did not receive) which was a supposed full labor tune up and what I was charged for.The fact that I called and emailed twice with no response to my issues is just plain bad business practice. Do not recommend this shop.

These guys were fantastic. My bike broke the day before a race. They prioritized me and helped me fix my bike when other stores wouldn't. Then they gave tons of helpful advice about bike care and bike use that no other bike store ever had before. I am definitely using them again in the future and will probably buy my next bike here because i know everything will be done right. I can't thank them enough. I came out of their store so happy

I've had my bike serviced two times. Both times has been by this shop. The first time I couldn't make it home without my brand new tubes going flat. The second time I couldn't go a single ride without both tires going flat.

I highly recommend this bike shop from beginners to highly experienced riders. I find this shop way more helpful than the big box stores similar to Global Bikes. The weekly rides are a great way to grow the cycling community. The Velo team is great at keeping every one involved during the rides. If you're looking to get into cycling, I highly recommend going with the Velo.

Justin and the Velo crew went above and beyond to help me get a missing rare part for my bike. The manufacturer was bought out and they spent much time trying to get through to get the part and after a long wait with no solutions, Justin came up with a creative idea that took skill to actually make that rare part for me. And they were very fair with the price not to mention giving it a small time up before leaving the shop. I highly recommend these guys!!!

Needed a flat fixed (4th in a few months) - so went for a expert opinion up see if I was missing something fixing those myself. Yes! Fast, good service. Recommend them, and I’ll be back!

We want to rave about our experience with Velo! Jason, Aaron, and Justin are AMAZING. My son has been searching for a Scott bike for MONTHS! We happened to be in town for a couple days for a bike camp and he saw an Instagram post from Velo. It was the bike he wanted. I encouraged him to call- so he did- turns out it was a large (his size) in the color he wanted. He called at 12. We got to bike shop at 12:30. And walked out with the bike and new shoes (on sale BTW) by 3 pm! All of the staff was so amazing. These guys are smart, helpful, and kind!

Went in for a shim, ended up needing a new part to fit my new handlebars. They had the part in stock, didn’t overcharge and got my bike back the next morning. Thanks y’all

Brought in bike for a new seat and tune up. Expecting to wait a least a week and it was ready the next day. Excellent service and decent prices. I will be a regular customer. Thank you.

They are awesome with general repairs and tune-ups. I haven't used them for bike sales yet, but there showroom floor seems to offer more competitive and trial style bicycles; their line-up doesn't really seem to target every day commuters. Over all, they have been very good to me with repairs and maintenance over the last two years and I will continue to use them!
