My wonderful future wife Renee took me there for a Valentines day gift. Craig Robinson was the headliner. Drinks where reasonable priced and strong, food was good staff was excellent. Only problem is parking, Its a pain and HELLA expensive

Such a fun experience! We went to see Tony Baker and the show was amazing from start to finish. Our waitress Kale was such a sweetheart! She was quick with getting our drinks and food. The food was great and the drinks were even better

LOUIS CK what else can i say? "Working out new material".... Best Valentines day present ever!! He stayed in Phoenix for days, sold out 5-6 shows within hours. The line was longer than we have ever seen and we visit this venue often. The venue has decent seating, the back seats are higher with good visibility. They could work on more choices of non-alcoholic/non-sugary beverages, but I get it, one doesn't go to a comedy club to eat/ drink healthy.

I always enjoy a quality stand up show, but I am giving them 5 stars based on the amazing Korean steak meal I had there. Since I paid for tickets, my friend bought the food. And when tickets are 35 bucks you get to order the most expensive meal on the menu! Yippee. I was not disappointed at all. It was medium rare on a bed of vegetables. The hot white lady next to me got the quesadilla like my friend. She even commented how good mine looked. It tasted better. Overall great experience every time I come. F covid live ya lives...vaccinated of course!

The talent that was in town at the comedy show was Ms. Pat. The flow to get everyone in for showtime was smooth. Great smiles by the staff at the door. Fantastic escort to our seats. Our server, Jason was by far the best as this was our tenth time at this venue. The two drink minimum seems to be an industry standard but Stand-Up should be different and drop anything that's mandatory spend for its customers

Went to see DeRay the other night then hung out at the bar next door after. Had the best time! Was super impressed at how clean the bathrooms were. Although some of the women who used it should never use a restroom in public! Eeekk! The drinks were great & the establishment is in such a great location.

This place is great! Good atmosphere and servers. Wish I could remember the waiters name who served us at the Filipe Esparza show, he was great. Even the comedians who open are good. Always have a good time and it’s great to have Copper Blues right next door! We’ll be going back.

Stand Up Live always has great comedians at affordable prices. We just saw Brad Williams, and he was phenomenal! We've also seen Bruce Bruce and Felipe Esparza. Go REALLY early to avoid being at the middle or end of the long line that forms to get in. The space inside doesn't seem like it can fit 500 people, but it does, and even though it may be a little tight at times, we were still comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. The 2 drink minimum isn't too bad, and we just get water or soda, and that's about $32. The menu has pretty good options that aren't too pricey and the food is good. Overall, this is a great place for a date night with your significant other, or a fun time with some friends.

I went to see Desi Banks. I enjoy the atmosphere and vibe of the place. The only cons for me is the seating, there isn't alot of room to sit comfortably. Drinks are overpriced. However, I've comedy shows and would go again.

Worst service imaginable. It took over an HOUR to get a regular coffee… which was $6.25 for ~8oz. Our party had to ask repeatedly for things & several times had to flag other staff because our server would simply disappear for long periods of time. There’s no transparency on drink pricing, so here’s a heads up: bottomless mimosas are $40 (you might get 2 refills over 3 hours), other drinks $25. 21% gratuity is automatically added & absolutely undeserved in this instance. We were also never given the opportunity to exchange larger bills for $1s, despite being told when we were seated that it was no problem. In the end, we didn’t really need them because the show was so packed that the Queens really couldn’t get to us. In fact, they could barely squeeze between the tables. The costumes were impeccable - it’s a shame the venue did them the disservice of hindering their performances. For much of the show, we couldn’t really even see the Queen because the room was so big & waiters were constantly passing in front of us. It felt like being on a cruise ship, so oversold & impersonal. We even had issues with validation because there were so many people leaving at once that we could not exit the garage in time. Extremely disappointed in the experience from end to end. Our group will not return.

Holy Hanna, can they squeeze a lot of people in one room! It oddly worked out, though, and general admission is reasonable enough to justify the space you have. If you're going on a super busy night, be prepared to just order everything once and keep it simple. The food is great, and I suggest getting the beer bucket, so you're not reliant on a super busy waitress. They made sure to keep everyone really hydrated, though, and that was amazing. The lines to get it were pretty tough. We quickly realized why people were waiting hours in advance.

Great location in downtown Phoenix. Lots of underground parking available in the area and a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance. This venue is connected to Copper Blues and often has live music. The food menu is okay, and they have a full bar. Prices are a little higher but not out of line with other bars in the area. They have great local comedians and always get big headliners when they are in town. We normally visit the location at Desert Ridge in north Phoenix, but it's fun to go downtown every once in a while.

It was our first time going to a live show for a stand-up comedian (other than John Mulaney but he was in an actual theater) at such an intimate venue, so of course I was reading both the Yelp and Google reviews just so I knew what to expect. Long story short, almost every negative review was completely false! The biggest thing that stood out to me was there was no enforcement or even mention by our server or other servers about their "2 drink minimum" policy. The bestie and I both ordered a diet coke and that was all that was said on the drink situation. I ordered the soft pretzel which was super thick and (definitely) soft and the bestie ordered the truffle fries, which she said could have been warmer. Other than that, they weren't bad. The cheese that came with my pretzel was really delicious! Also another note on how you really have to take the bad reviews with a grain of salt - I read one review where someone never even got their drinks/food for the entire show (or at least something came out within 5 minutes of the show ending). However, this was not the case with us. We sat down and ordered our drinks within the first minute. The drinks came out maybe 2 minutes later, and we ordered our food next... which came out even before the first opener of the show started! We almost wished we had gotten our food a little later LOL. The service was great, the acts were great. We would definitely see ourselves coming back here again! This was really a great reminder to take all these negative reviews with a grain of salt because anyone can find stuff to complain about. I mean yeah, they do upcharge you for literally everything but that was the only negative thing I can think of. The seats also weren't as crammed together as other people are making them out to be. Yeah, it was like a cafeteria table with individual seats but just think of it as an intimate venue with a lot of people laughing together, having a good time, and look past it.

This place is good for a good laugh! But watch your bank account. We were over changed about $100 for drinks we did not order. Oh and trying to reach someone by phone, forget about it. Email I’m still waiting for just a response. It’s been over a week and a half. RIDICULOUS. Yeah imma laugh my way all the way to the BBB and submit a major complaint about fraudulent activity here. Even the Ace parking personnel trying to get $5 from every car leaving the show. Like we all got validated little ese! I DO Not recommend it especially if you can NOT TRUST this establishment when your under the influence DUH 🙄 So dissatisfied and disappointed!

My first time coming to this venue. It was really nice inside! A good size stage where everyone there has a good view of the performer. the Chardonnay they had by the glass was really yummy! I got free tickets from eventbrite and it was so worth it! What a great time with some good laughs! Can’t wait for the next show!!

Comedy show was super funny. VIP Service was good considering it was packed. Food was ok. Drink prices are steep but understandable since there is a two drink minimum so that's their bread and butter. Door man was tripping, we were VIP and we stood in the line for several minutes while he blatantly ignored us even after we said excuse me several times. Once we were in, no issues with service.

A nice venue. A bit tricky to locate from the box office. Not the most handicap accessible. Not for cheap or poor people (like me)

Great experience and the food was great. Nice to be able to eat and watch a show at the same time. There’s a two drink minimum and with some nachos, a chicken sandwich, two lemonades, and two beers we paid about $110.

Nice lil comedy club. Drinks are a little pricey. Food now is much better than it was in the past. The parking validation machine doesn't work tho, we still got charge $20 for parking just under 3 hours when it's supposed to be 3hrs free.

Food was excellent and served SO fast! Staff was nice, but seating was awkward as I had to turn sideways to eat and I was in the walkway, otherwise it would be 5 stars!

I enjoy the comedy shows that Stand up has, but the fact that you have to buy drinks on top of ticket prices is crazy. I wanted water and they serve their own brand, (much more than water should cost). It's pretty crowded depending on the comedian which worries me slightly about safety. They supposedly validate your parking (as long as you park in the suggested areas) but we still had to pay $15 to get out of the parking garage. We weren't the only people ticked off to find out we still had to pay. It's an okay venue and although I understand that staff needs to make money, it feels like a money grab where the joke is on you.

They've changed the seating methods from the last time I visited so wasn't super stoked about getting there early and being issued a seat in the back until I spoke up. Otherwise, food was pretty good and the entertainment is usually good quality. Recommend car pooling, light rail, or park in parking with validation.

Nice intimate venue, however they do tend to crowd you into small spaces. Have seen some great comedians here. 2 drink limit at first seemed a bit sketch, however they don't skimp on the drinks (which was unexpected for sure!) Proximity to other venues afterwards was a real treat! And most places next door are really cool and stay open much later to keep the party going! Overall good experiences here. If you can't get the confirmed "VIP" tables to ensure your seating together, they make every attempt (never actually been separated from my party) however the line gets LONG so come 30min early for sure! I only gave 4 stars because of the tight seating arrangements, otherwise would have been 5 stars 🌟.

I was trying to decide between 3 and 4 stars, and ultimately went with three. The comedians were very good, the audience participation was nice, and the food was decent. We had nachos and was satisfied with the portion size. The drinks are very expensive and not very large. But ultimately the worst part of the experience is my favorite joke was ruined by an overly sensitive security worker who scolded me for, get this, laughing at a comedy club. Even people next to me who I had never met before were like "what did that guy say to you?". I said he told me I needed to keep it down and they were equally as confused as me and my group. I later saw him rushing over to talk to a table that the comedian was interacting with actively. Honestly it completely ruined my mood and made it so I really didn't want to laugh after that point. I didn't pay hundreds of dollars to sit stoic at a comedy club.

Pros: they have a great, quick streamlined way to get everyone checked in and through the doors, making the wait in line fairly short. Our waiter was great; attentive, quick, nice. My drink was good. Cons: They cram everyone in to the point it felt like an over-crowded subway. I sat through most of the show with the hair from lady in front of me sitting in my lap and sliding over my bare arms. Not her fault; there was no place for her to move. The other choice for seating a group of 4 was to have 2 people sit directly in front of the other 2 people, sort of movie theater style. I don't like to sit with friends that way; can't interact and defeats the purpose of going with friends. It was super hot in there with all of the people and no a/c running until ~10 minutes into the first act. The heat plus people piled on top of each other made me feel claustrophobic. I don't know how this is up to fire code? Just absolutely nothing comfortable about this venue. So. Cramped. I honestly don't know if I will go back.

Good venue with seasoned and upcoming comedians. Decent food and drinks. My only issues were the air conditioning not working on a sold out elbow to elbow show and then running out of ice.

Saw the great Bobcat Goldwat. What a great show. Also ate dinner too. The burger was excellent and French fries hit the spot!

Really like this place. I always try taking my out of town guests here if I can. I just wish the staff understood that when you order a drink that require a FREE return ticket for 2....they give it to you. Why do I always have to go thru hell and high water to get my ticket. But overall a very enjoyable place. Nice Bar connected to Comedy Club for the club goers.

I was actually performing there on the Mother's Day show May 9th. The staff is great and our server was awesome. I had a burger and it was exactly what I needed. Pretty damn good!! The place had a well attended crowd even for a Mother's Day and they were ready to have fun. I'm hoping to be back again.

Had a great time with friends... food and drinks were great. Service was on point. I have to say those drinks were strong. My friend was feeling pretty darn good when we were leaving. I’m not a drinker, so I baby sat my drink and it end up watery 😂. The comedians kept us laughing and I truly enjoyed myself. I hear they sometimes have free tickets but I’ll definitely go again.

Great venue in downtown Phoenix. Great amount of parking and very cool walking up to the venue. I personally have been here many times. The last time I went to see Savannah Hernandez open for Bobcat. It was a wonderful show. Check out their website to see who is coming soon.
