I love Saimai Avenue because it has lots of stores. There is a supermarket, a food hub, a coffee store, a pharmacy and lots of stores you can visit. There is also a shrine outside where you can offer food and prayer for good luck.

Convenient. It has the DIY store, and TOP Supermarket. Moreover, there is Dairy Queen, one of my favorites. Also, Burger King that opens 24 hours. Then there are also assortment of dine-in restaurants as well as al fresco (eating outdoors) food court, and has live concerts on the weekends starting late Friday afternoon. NOTE: Since the supermarket is close to a Catholic school, the law here prohibits selling alcohol within a certain distance from a school similar to the U.S. So, you're SOL if you want a drink while here, or want to buy and take a 6-pack of your favorite brew home.
