New green park in town! It’s huge and help adding to set of limited public recreational places in Bangkok. Sky walk is very symbolic and make you appreciate the nature surrounding you. Nicely designed and revamped for enjoying the vast greenery of ex-tobacco factory swamp, it is very friendly for wheelchairs and family as well. Enjoy morning walk between 6.00 - 7.30 or golden sunset between 17.30 - 18.30. We definitely want more of places like this!

This was a really nice park to walk around in in the heart of Bangkok. There is a walkway all around the whole park and around the lake as well. Also bike trails connecting all the entrances through the park. There are pickle ball and basketball courts in the middle as well an amphitheater. It took us about 3 hours to walk around with time to sit down as well.

I used this park for running when I visited Bangkok for traveling solo, but the park was amazing. There are two lanes for cycling and walking/running, which is easy to identify by the sign on the road and which is about 2.5~3.0km long, separated to avoid clash. There are no signals for stop like on the streets, so you don’t have to be bothered! In the city of Bangkok, it was hard to find the places suitable for running because of traffic or road structure, so it may be helpful for those who are enthusiastic about running. I’d definitely recommend it.

One of the newer parks as of 2022 and my favorite by far… but favoritism might be that it is super close to where we live. This is also a forest park which allows it to be more wild and less man managed which what I love. Great for a big walk or just moments in green space with big trees. There are elevated paths and clear lanes for bikes and walkers and areas to rest. There is a sports areas where you can play basketball, pickle ball and more. I believe you need to reserve space. Recently a few public art pieces have been showing up in the park. The museum in the park is not open yet and will mark the last phase of the park to completed. Things to note: - there is no place to buy water in park so bring your own with you - it is busiest in the early evening My favorite favorite park!

It's a good place to walk around, biking or jogging. This is a very big place full of trees and flowers. But I recommend going there in the evening because of the scorching heat. Be sure to bring your personal water bottle, sunglasses and hat or umbrella. Check the weather before you go there because there's nowhere to hide when the rain comes.

Beautifully designed park perfect for walking, running and just relaxing. It is fun to run small path ups and downs while you enjoy watching colorful and beautiful flowers. It’s kind of middle of Bangkok and I feel so lucky to be able to live running distance to this park. The view of the green landscape with the Bangkok City view is spectacular. So far, I’ve just been there at morning time but it must be beautiful to be there early in the morning or sunset time when you can see the warm colour in the sky.

It is one of the largest parks in Bangkok. You can walk here and forget about city traffic. You can also do sports here. There are a few large halls that offer a lot of basketball and pickleball. You can also ride a bike here. I like going here because it's the only way to walk the dogs. Bangkok is absolutely not animal friendly

The park is open as of 2021 July 15. It's a nice green area with plenty of walking paths. It's still under construction but very usable. It also connects to the skybridge and the other side of Benjakitti park. Great place to go for an afternoon stroll. You can access it from Sukhumvit soi 10.

Just to correct a few reviews: there is NO bike riding in this park, and any of the 100+ security officers here are very quick to let you know—even if you're just trying to ride your bike into the little area designated for bike parking! You can ride your bicycle around the perimeter of this "park", but not inside. You cannot go on the grass! So I hesitate to call this area a "park". This is just for walking and jogging on the short asphalt roads. Personally, I don't like feeling like the police are watching me no matter where I am, but especially when I'm trying to enjoy myself outdoors, and that's exactly what it feels like being in here. They don't bother you if you stay on the sidewalks or three short roads, but what the hell are 100+ security officers doing in a tiny little recreation area like this?

Beautiful designed public park in the middle of Bangkok!!! I went on a rainy season day which made all trees green and fresh. Plenty of car park, plenty of walking trails, interestingly designed skywalk trails.

Expansive, pristine and very well maintained. Shaded rest areas are scattered across the park.. the skyline surrounding the park makes for an interesting view... Umbrellas needed and sunscreen a must. Humidity and heat can be overwhelming. Loads of views.. a murder of crows (or two).. and wetlands, swamps, marshes and grasslands for days.. a literal green lung in the middle of the city. Well worth the visit for nature lovers.

Benchkitti Forest Park is a new park next to Benchakittie Park with large green area and elevated wooden walk way with nice view of Bangkok. Most of these walkway are not shaded and it can be hot in the son in Bangkok. So better visit early mornings. Lights at evening are also beautiful. The park is free with no entrance fee.

Brand new public park in Bangkok. The park is located near Queen Sirikrit Convention Centre. You can walk here from MRT. The park is seem to be good if you come to visit in evening or in the morning of not hot summer day. No big tree's shade so please prepare yourself with good sun block.

The park is already open and has lots of parking spot and toilets. Very convenient to come Nd it connected to Lumpini park via the green bridge (around 1.6 km to Lumpini park by walking , running)

New park connected to the nearby lake park of the same name. This has more biodiversity and wild nature. The lotus look beautiful in bloom and there is a great panoramic walkway unlike I've seen before. The park is full of happy smiling well behaved locals.

I enjoyed a sweaty but interesting walk from top to bottom, but was frustrated to find that most of the exits were locked, meaning an extra half hour to get out. Feels like a work in progress. I’d recommend very early morning or dusk - it was almost unbearably hot and messy by 10am.

A great place to get some exercise, either a run or just a gentle walk. There is a dog park section and space to cycle around. You can get there via Soi 4, Soi 10 or Benchakitti Park, there is a link called the green mile between this park and Lumpini Park.

Best park in Bangkok and it isn't even completed yet. Yes, it helps to live within walking distance but this park is much better designed than the rest here. To go from manufacturing cigarettes to this kind of park is really commendable. Highly recommended place to relax, no sounds of traffic, sirens, etc., the birds provide the music.

It is already good but some parts are still on progress, so I am sure it will be better at 3rd quarter of this year. It is always welcomed that there are more this kind of places in the center of metropolitan city.

Compared to Benjakitti park phase1, there is not much sunshade here. For running, if you prefer running in sunshade covered by trees, phase 1 is better

You need to find some place that you can chill and relax in the central of BKK, you need to go here. There are some activities like Kayak and Pedal boat (free of charge but need to book on App before). A lot of Parking is also available.

Any big green lung in a city as big and busy as Bangkok is very much needed. I’ve been to Lumphini a lot but this feels a lot more cared for or maybe it’s just because it’s newer. If I lived in Bangkok I would think it would be somewhere I would visit often.

This was a highlight of my trip to Bangkok. Walked from my hotel to Lumphini park known as the “Central Park” because it is finely manicured with human beings in control of what grows there. As a nice contrast I walked to Forest Park which is a water reclamation site that allows the plant and animal life to grow as it would in the wild. The raised sidewalks above the wildlife were extremely walkable and at a nice incline that while you were covering a lot of space didn’t struggle to walk up hill. I enjoyed the information view points along my walk.

Title: A Serene Urban Oasis at Benchakitti Forest Park Thailand! Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Review: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Benchakitti Forest Park in Thailand, and it turned out to be a hidden gem in the midst of the bustling city. As soon as I stepped foot into this urban oasis, I was immediately transported to a peaceful and serene environment. The park's lush greenery, sparkling lake, and vibrant flowers created a picturesque setting that was a treat for the senses. The well-maintained trails and pathways allowed me to easily explore the park while enjoying the calm surroundings. One of the highlights of my visit was the vast array of recreational activities available. Whether you're an avid jogger, cyclist, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll, Benchakitti Forest Park has something for everyone. The well-paved paths provided a safe and enjoyable experience, making it a popular spot for exercise enthusiasts. The park also boasts various amenities that cater to its visitors' needs. The clean and well-kept restroom facilities were a welcome convenience, ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors. The park's benches and shaded areas provided ample opportunities for relaxation, allowing me to take in the serene atmosphere and escape the city's hustle. Additionally, the park's commitment to environmental conservation is admirable. The lush greenery and the presence of wildlife, including birds and butterflies, indicated a healthy ecosystem. It's refreshing to see an urban park that prioritizes conservation while providing a recreational space for visitors. The park staff were also friendly and helpful during my visit. They were readily available to provide information and suggestions, enhancing my overall experience at Benchakitti Forest Park. Whether you're looking for a peaceful escape from the city or a place to engage in outdoor activities, Benchakitti Forest Park is a hidden gem that is worth a visit. It is a perfect example of the harmonious coexistence of nature and urban development. I wholeheartedly recommend Benchakitti Forest Park to locals and tourists alike. It offers a serene and refreshing experience, allowing you to recharge and rejuvenate amidst nature, right in the heart of the city. Don't miss out on this urban paradise!

This is a wonderful park right in the middle of Bangkok. Lots of paths, lots of birds, and tons of Sacred Lotus. Many other plants, flowers and trees as well.

The forest side of the park was sadly in a bit of a state, mainly due to the weather and lack of rain but also lack of maintenance, but there was a ton of workers throughout the park and hopefully it will return to looking like Google photo's soon.

A new and wonderful addition to Benchakitti Park, I visited today in between rain showers, so many different types of birds amongst the shrubs bushes, trees, or in the water. The area will only get better as time passes, a real paradise and so easy to access.

Made my way here by the Lumphini Benchakitti park walkway, an elevated platform for walking and biking, between the two parks. Recommend visiting on a cloudy day, early morning, late evening as it gets extremely hot walking on elevated walkway where there is no shade. Well designed park with many wetland features. Hope when fully completed there are more restrooms.

It is just perfect, what else can I say?!😅 I love nature places like this one💚🌳🌴 in the heart of Bangkok..💔

  • 5/5 Hannu T. 1 year ago on Google
If Lumphini Park is amazing, an oasis inside the busy city, Benchakitti Park is even more all that. Benchakitti Park is very popular among exercisers, but there is much else, too. The park has been built so that there is a small artificial lake which is a habitat for many bird species and plants. You can walk there along the built paths among the water plants, or you can choose to have your trip along the walking bridges a couple metres over the lake. If you get tired of all those Bangkok cars and people, take a rest in the park. It's a wonderful moment of relax, and soon after you are ready to return to the traffic jams of messy Bangkok. Benchakitti Park belongs to the top 3 of my Bangkok.

My family ventured out after the morning rains stopped. We were pleasantly surprised by the skywalk paths and the lush greenery surrounding us. The city buildings in the distance was a great juxtaposition to the diverse forest park that is Benchakitti. We were only walking through today, but I could imagine riding a bike on the lower paths or just coming to clear one's mind. A beautiful treasure in the middle of the city.

  • 5/5 Pusma M. 1 year ago on Google
This forest park landscape is well planned and designed. One of the best routes for running in the morning; full of greens but not big enough to shade the bright sun ray of Bangkok. The skywalk is attractive for both jogging and taking pictures. Old buildings of tobacco authority are cool and they were redecorated to be more trendy. The whole place is suitable for outdoor events, such as farmer market or small music festivals.

This huge park is located close to the MRT Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. It's beautiful, peaceful, and lively. It's also clean, well maintained, and a good photo spot. Though it's not flower season yet, some are still blooming wonderfully. Benchakitti Forest Park is also so green and nice, but some of the plants are dead or desolate. The bridge is long and wide, providing you with all the pretty views. It's really nice in the morning and evening, those times that it is not too hot to enjoy the park.
