it is a woman working there who is just pure psycho. they should fire her. I saw her screaming like a mad person at people multible times and just scaring costumers away. talked with lots of people who said that they wont train there because of her negative attitude so they dont want to put money in that place. totaly understandable. i dont know what she does there, maybe selling equipment or cleaning the toilets i dont know, in any case she should not be there. muay thai is a sport of self control and respect and she has none of it.

Trainers are great. Daeng helped me a lot with muay thai. I can be like everyone else here and leave 5 star reviews. Because it is a good gym. Training is good. Everyone else is good and want to become better and get a good workout. But the lady here is RUDE. No manners. No respect. I think she owns the gym or something but she is a VERY UNPLEASANT PERSON. I would understand if this is the only gym in the street. However, there are 50 other Muay thai gyms on the same street. she has no right to act the way she acts. I want to become a professional fighter. I was training for a little bit after class and she yelled at me saying no training. I may have been in the wrong, but t he funny thing is while I was training, she was there the whole time, and didn't say anything. But when I'm finished (maybe 15-20 minutes) and about to get on my motorbike. I see her and I try to bow and say hello to show respect, she looks at me with a disgusted face and tells me NO TRAINING! She tells the other people the same thing not even in a nice way, but she yells like a crazy maniac. And the way she looks at us is with so much hate and disgust. It is one of the most unpleasant experience I’ve had in Thailand. Great trainers saves this gym. BAD OWNER. BAD LADY. Instead of letting her stress out on the customers who are paying her money, she should invest in better equipments and better mats. Worn down as hell, bags are coming off, mats are dirty and old. Some parts of the floor not even covered in the mats. The weights are COVERED IN RUST. There is no silver on the weights it is RED. The barbell DETACHES. What is the point in having the weight station if they are in such bad condition you can't even use it? IF you are even ALLOWED to use them in the first place hahaha. Such a shame one person can ruin an entire experience. She definitely does not practice buddhism. And should learn from the chill trainers who are there, always happy, and laid back. SERIOUSLY. EDIT: I paid 13000 baht total for 20 private lesson packs. Paid 3500 baht for 10 classes. Of those 10 classes, I've used 3. You're completely avoiding the issue here. I get it, you work for the lady. This whole review with the 1 star is about the lady. Even if I was in the wrong, as I said, and I wasn't supposed to touch anything after the class, HER DEMEANOR is RUDE. During my last private lesson (probably used 15 out of 20) the lady came up to my trainer and started complaining and ranting at my trainer for 10 minutes in Thai. So unprofessional. Instead of defending her on every single negative review about her, why not talk some sense into her? Also I've heard old Top Team Phuket fighters left and started their own gyms? Hmm I wonder why. Maybe because of that lady.... Hmmmm.

The cleaning lady/shopkeeper who works there is mentally unstable + she claims she’s the boss haha! What a nut case😂 Response to ignorant answer: She is not mental because she thinks she owns the gym and if she does that’s just sad, she’s mental because she flips out on costumers/potential costumers. Please, don’t be stupid and pull the race card. When you respond like that there’s no wonder why people leave comments that you obviously don’t appreciate. I’m not the only one saying she’s unstable, so maybe you should get her help instead of fighting people for leaving their honest opinion? It’s much needed. Take care!

Top class gym with world class coaches, I was extremely impressed with the level of attention the instructors provided students ensuring everyone was given some one on one time to ensure their techniques were well refined. Alvaro is an exceptional BJJ coach who is very friendly, always smiling and doesn’t mind cracking a joke. All in all I had a great experience and will return again.

The woman dealing with clients is despicable. Also the gym seems worn down, unsanitary and disorganized. I noticed by passing by that they mix beginners with professionals, i.e. doesn’t look like they teach you the basics. Steer clear.

Don’t buy anything from the online store. I paid for items over 3 months ago and nothing has been sent. I’ve tried contacting them 3 times with no response.

I have just spent four months living in the top team gym room number 1. I can definitely say that my experience was nothing but wonderful. I am a pure beginner and I was supported completely through my journey there. The trainers only show care and truely wanted me to get better. I see comments from past customers saying only negative experiences with Kan the lady that owns the gym. In my four months I can assure you that they ain’t true. If you are respectful and honest, she will do her best to help you in anyway you need. Will return in the future.

Bad energy. Lots of ownership/management drama. Not conducive for training. Pictures you see are of a time they were prime & at the top of their game. They’ve lost their legendary coach that built the program up & now they are in shambles. Constant turnover. No stable coaches. They’re friendly when they take your money, but if you need any service, you’re on your own. I & many of my friends have been ripped off. Avoid at all cost. I still go to Phuket & train a few months out of the year, but I will never train here. BangTao, AKA, or Tiger are best places to train

Coaches were nice but wish they focused more on technique instead of straight drills then pads & bag after warm up. The front lady accused me of not paying and had attitude as well. I did pay and had a receipt for it and showed her. Whether it’s a language barrier or not, she should have some basic common courtesy when speaking with potential clients, or anyone for that matter.

Grappling Teacher has good knowledge and is friendly, but students are not careful with their heel hooks. Got rupted my ACL there, which means a long rehabilitation for me and no fights...

I went to Top Team spring of this year. It was my first time training in Thailand. When I go back to Thailand I will not go to this gym again. Many students paid for equipment and never received it. I also know that instructors are not paid for their teachings or their private training sessions in spite of the students paying the gym. There are many more honest business people on the street trying to provide honestly for their families and care about their students growth. These are the gyms I will support. Phuket Top team is not one of these gyms.

I can put her name here: her name is: “Sambo da Cambo” (anyone can ask her directly, she will tell the story!!!) Do not worry! And everyone knows this story!!!! Crazy owner who shout with everyone, and even attacked an Australian woman(she went to hospital)… because if u train there one time they think you are their property… she think you cant train in other gym… thats why she attacked this girl! She is drugged and have serious issues (and they are thieves tooo) just read all the comments of people…. Too sad! They could have a good gym.. but choose to be deceivers… and they had many problems with the muay thai teachers…(not paying them…)

A great gym that’s teaches all techniques in Muay Thai.Everything from drills, moving, punching, Kicking , sparing , pad work, also running, skipping rope . A very intense cardio workout and training techniques. The hardest work out I have ever done. I am way over 50 , so it was very difficult for me, but the Muay Thai teachers were always positive, encouraging and helpful, awesome group of teachers.

I came here for a week in July to train wrestling and Muay Thai. The coaching staff here does a great job at accommodating both beginners and experts in the same class. Some of the Muay Thai trainers have limited English but they know what they are doing and are great motivators. I was a complete noob and I got the same level of attention as some of the advanced fighters in the Muay Thai class. I will be coming back in 2019 hopefully for a longer stay! Thanks Top Team and Coach Erick for an awesome time.

Fantastic gym and fantastic training by Olavo. I would have given 5 stars had I not contracted a Staph (and now MRSA) infection from the mats, which I am still dealing with. Great school and fantastic teaching but they need to work on the cleanliness on the mats

I’ve signed up for a week of Muay Thai and I’m on the my third day now. A lot of people get upset and leave bad reviews because of a lady who is part owner. She’s very stern and a grand character, but there’s no need to rate a gym where you come to TRAIN on that. The coaches are world class with over 1000 fights and many championships amongst them. They push you to your limit, teach you proper technique, and provide you personal attention. I haven’t been to any other gyms here yet on the street but I’m more than happy to stay with Phuket Top Team.

Don’t order from their online store. I ordered months ago and still haven’t received my package. No one is responding to me anymore either. Sketchy behaviour to say the least. Can someone please refund my money.

Potential Customers, be cautious with this online store, it's a scam. You pay money, but nothing arrives. The gym's reputation has long been lost. The gym and shop are closed! Don't believe the 'owner's' response that there's something around the corner. Everything is CLOSED!
