Went on the Phi Phi Island sunrise trip with Simba in March 2022. Everything was well organized with a very fun and friendly crew from Simba. Especially liked the long stay at Maya beach in the morning before the crowds arrived where we had nice breakfast and beautiful views. We also did 4 different stops for swimming and snorkeling with lots of time at each place.

Our trip with Simba was the highlight of my family vacation in phuket and the best boat trip I had ever taken. Everything was completed with perfection. Our Captain and crew went above and beyond any expectation I could have ever imagined. Our guide Jane was fun and professional, she took real care of us and we really enjoyed her company especially the kids. Both the crew and Jane were very eager to make anything that made us happy. Yes, we would absolutely charter the yacht again. It was amazing ! We look forward to our next trip with Simba.

One of my best days thanks to Simba. Simba tours aren’t luxury tours. If you need coddling, you might want to go somewhere else. They are professional tours. Simba will get you to the best place at the best time, while sincerely taking care that you are safe, comfortable, and getting what you want out of your time. Fabulous experience with the Phi Phi Island Sunrise Tour! Momo and all the crew were very friendly, funny, and took great care of us. We were fortunate to be able to experience the newly reopened Maya Bay. Absolutely stunning! We enjoyed a great day of beautiful views, swimming, snorkeling, yummy food, and relaxation. My colleague who had travelled with Simba couple of years ago recommended that I take the tour with them. Like someone said in the reviews, they are bit expensive as compared to other tours (with packed boats, we only had 14 people) but I don’t regret a bit spending that extra money. I just got back this afternoon and I am already posting this in the evening. They were this good! Francois was very patient with my questions on Simba’s Facebook page as their website already had some details I was asking for. When we started in the morning, it was pouring, nevertheless, our star guide, Momo, and the crew kicked it off with an infectious energy at 6.00 am and continued to do so until the end of the trip. Momo sincerely ensures everyone is taken care of and really connects with you. Same, for the rest of the crew. While we didn’t get to see the sunrise due to the weather, there were hardly anyone else when we reached Maya. You don’t need to worry about anything, everything is provided; just carry cash (for drinks at stops & tips), towel and swimwear. There is ample food, water and soft drinks throughout the day. Despite the crew helping with everything, be it taking pictures (believe me, I would lose my patience if I were Momo), helping you snorkel or even make you comfortable taking that dip in the water or being there for anything, they don’t explicitly ask for tips, but throughly deserve it. I also like the fact that the website is very detailed. Please note, you will spend ample of time in the water. There were some who got bored because they didn’t want to get in 🙄. We researched a lot about which company to choose for our phi phi island sunrise tour as it was our first time in the Phuket and we wanted to choose the absolutely best. We also wanted to avoid the crowds thus opted for the sunrise tour. Simba seemed to be best of the lot and the most popular one. So we went with them. The booking experience was smooth and we got updates about the tour as we reached nearer to the date of the tour. Their emails were very informative and helped us in deciding what all to carry with us and what should be expect from this tour. The tour started very early with our pick up being at 5 am in the morning. But it was all worth it as we saw a beautiful sunrise right in the middle of the sea, had the whole bamboo island to ourselves where we had a simple breakfast and manoeuvred our way to the monkey island and the amazing pileh lagoon not finding too much crowd. We even got a glimpse of the Maya Bay which was closed to public during the period when we took the boat tour. Our lunch was organised at the Koh Phi Phi Leh island at a luxury resort. The whole set up was breathtaking for a sea view lunch. And we even had a separate table set up for us with plenty of vegetarian dishes. For the rest there was nice buffet set up too. The group was a small one with 15-16 of us onboard and the Momo (our guide) and her team were simply brilliant. They had us hooked the whole time and by the end of the our it felt like a family boat tour where everyone was interacting, helping and motivating each other to explore the water and the marine life, so the atmosphere was ultra positive. The boat deserves a special mention. It was very comfortable and with no windows. No windows meant that we could enjoy the outside view with the sea breeze flowing across the boat. The only downside is that if the sea gets rough, the boat ride can get a bit bumpy, but the captain was very professional in the making everyone feel safe. Overall, as much as the phi phi island tour is an important part of your trip to Phuket, choosing the right company is even more important as it might end up deciding how much you’re gonna get. And Simba sea trips would be my choice for all my future endeavours in the Arabian sea!

Me and my wife booked Phi Phi Sunrise tour with private transfer on Dec 1st. And it was the one of the best tours in our honeymoon trip. Beautiful scenic views along with friendly captain and crew made the experience wonderful..and very less people on the boat. The taxi arrived early to pick us up from our resort. Once we reached Royal Marina Phuket, we were greeted with some snacks and hot drinks. Followed by a quick briefing of the tour we onboarded Simba 9 . Experiencing gorgeous sunrise behind massive clouds are mesmerising. The captain and crew members were super friendly . They had lot of fruits , some snacks , beers and soda on the boat for refreshment. The duration of stops were enough to explore the area. We were served light breakfast at Maya Bay and we loved it. Loved the sticky rice with mango and the banana cake. Crew was helpful to non-swimmers too. They have life jackets and pool noodles. Crew helped taking lot of pictures of me & my wife with a smile . The captain was very friendly. They experiences more awesome. Lunch buffet was very good. They did ask our dietary preferences when we reached Royal Marina Phuket . Since we were vegetarians they have separate dishes prepared for us and serve us on the table while others were standing in line for buffet . We lost track of time when relaxing on bamboo island beach and were late . Crew came searching for us and helped us with out backpack . Overall awesome experience.

Awesome tour with great guides! We took the sunrise Phi Phi tour, well worth the 5am start to beat the crowds. Also worth paying to be on a smaller boat, about 15 people compared to other companies which have 30-40 people (and seem to play loud music all the time… sigh). The guides were great, spoke good English and very knowledgable about sea life and the islands. There were also endless snacks and soft drinks including for vegetarians.

We took the sunrise tour, I'm not a morning person, but it was so worthwhile! We got to get in before all the crowds which was awesome. The spots they take you to are so pretty and the food is amazing. The small group numbers is also great, you get plenty of room and time to talk to the tour leader. We got to see plenty of fish which was a highlight for me! I highly recommend everyone does this tour!

I went on the Phi Phi Sunrise Tour together with my partner and it was amazing, and I'm so glad I booked with this company. From start to beginning you will feel really taken care of, regarding everything from getting enough drinks to spotting different fish while snorkeling. Jane and the rest of the crew are really attentive and many other tour companies can probably learn from them. The schedule is well planned and although it is impossible to dodge all the other tourists, you will dodge some of them by going this early. The boat was very comfortable and not overcrowded (which is one of their selling points). I saw some other tourist boats that were really packed. Breakfast was light with some fruits and some well tasty Thai specialty and the lunch was a nice buffet. If you are in the area, book this.

Phiphi tour: Staff super friendly ! Starts early in the morning so you enjoy the non crowdy spots the way it should be ! Small boats with 10 to 14 people instead of 30 people speed boats with no view or space with other companies. You are not in a rush & breakfast + lunch are delicious. Its just the tour to do ! Take a look to the phang na bay tour that seems also a great deal & enjoy the beauty of these islands gems.

Very professional efficient and well organised operation. Crew were great and looked after everyone individually. If you can get up at 4.30am I highly recommend this trip - watching the sunrise come up over the sea was truly memorable and being the first on Bamboo Island for a swim and breakfast was one of those nice life moments. Every stop after was well explained and worth it.

Simba Sea Trip tour was throughly enjoyed! The crew onboard was comical and very thoughtful. They were knowledgeable of the various islands and the history behind it. The boat and facilities we all clean and well kept. I highly recommend them for any excursions. You could not have asked for anything more!

The sunset trip is a must see for everyone who wants to see the beautiful nature around the famous James-Bond-Island and be there for his own. Me and my girlfriend went there with Patrick an his Crew of Simba 8 today. First of all, the tour wont e crouded (14 People max!)They took us to the north to the mangrove forest. After that we went down, passed the beautiful fishing village and moved on to the James Bond Islands. This was our first stop and we could look around the island. The next stop was at the Ice Cream Cave. Last but not least we saw a astounding sunset from a sandbank. The crew explained everything to us, was very nice and helpful. We got drinks (non-alcoholic which was completly fine for me, but i think u can buy beer onboard) and fresh fruits and cake as dinner. I would definitly recommend it to everyone who wants to get a unique feeling and wants to feel like he is the only one on the islands. Thank you so much for the amazing afternoon/evening

So glad we chose Simba Sea Trips for our sunrise trip! Very well organised and definitely worth the early start - we beat the crowds at every stop and were the only boat at the very first stop meaning we had a whole island to ourselves! They were also very kind to accommodate a super last-minute change of date for us when we couldn't make it due to illness. This was a really awesome trip. Great tour guides and staff, smooth process, and the sights were absolutely amazing. Also really enjoyed the first snorkeling stop, there were tons of different fish to see!

We booked the Phi Phi sunrise tour on the 20th Dec 2019. It was well organized down to the last detail. An informative tour of the islands by speed boat accompanied by 3 knowledgeable, helpful, friendly guides who went the extra mile to make us comfortable and allay our fears since my teenage daughter was apprehensive when it was time for the snorkeling. It was my first time to Thailand and i decided to visit Phi Phi island via Simba Sea trips. It was one of the best experiences on the trip. It wasn't just about the beauty of the islands but the whole guidance the Speed boat crew provided was commendable. Even during snorkling for non swimmer or helping with good photographs ;) the crew was immensly helpful. There was so much personal attention given to each member of the team. Also, the vegetarian food specially provided was too good. Will undoubtedly opt for Simba Sea trips in future too.

Went on the sunrise Phi Phi Islands tour and it was perfect! There was breakfast at the marina, then again on the beach, lunch was amazing. The whole crew were amazing especially our tour guide Harry. When I come back to Phuket I will be doing this tour again for sure!

Wonderful day out with Simba Sea Trips! Everything from the early morning pick up to a gorgeous breakfast on the beach was perfect. Simba makes a real effort to have its guests be the first people onto Maya beach, and it really pays off! You get hour on pristine sand in complete quiet enjoying the view, with delicious home made breakfast. After that you do snorkelling, swim in a beautiful cove and stop on the island for a delicious lunch at a resort. The price point might be higher than other tours, but in our opinion it was completely justified - you just won’t get the same experience with anyone else!

Just did my second trip with Simba in the last 4 years. They are great. Maya bay was beautiful. Snorkeling was amazing. Lunch on the island was fantastic. Boo spoke great English and was very knowledgeable. I can't recommend them enough!

We did the sunrise Phi Phi trip and had the best day! The early start was totally worth it when we were able to see reef sharks at Maya Bay. I did the early morning Phi Phi tour to beat the crowds and I really appreciated the crew's expertise about the area and how prompt they were at attending to our needs. One of the crew members Mr N had a booklet of marine life to help snorkelers spot and identify tropical fish. The boat had complete snacks with fruit and food and they kept the water ice cold and refreshing. They were also very good at supporting non-swimmers and helped them feel safe about getting their feet wet and feel more confident about snorkeling. They even provided pool noodles on top of the usual life vest which was easier to maneuver with in the water. I was happy about going led to snorkel spots that didn't have a lot of people and I was able to spot plenty of reef tipped sharks.thanks Momo and team for the fantastic service!

This was our best experience we have ever had on a trip and with a tour. Our guides were amazing, kind, knowledgeable and funny. They made sure everyone had a great time. Phi Phi Island is not to be missed. Getting there before the crowds was a game changer as you could easily walk around Maya Bay and take photos, and be away from people. I spent a bit of time doing some research on some decent tour companies for a tour of the local islands for our family of four and came across Simba which had very good reviews. We were after a tour that avoided the peak times and something that wasn't too crowded so we decided on an early bird tour of Phi Phi and the surrounds. Simba was one of the handful of companies that offered the early bird tour and also had very good reviews. My wife and two boys had a fantastic time. The morning we went out was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and generous with the extra attention they gave our boys (9 and 6)... Even though my youngest was grumpy the staff persisted and eventually even he had a great time. Our speed boat only had 13 people along with 3 staff so there was plenty of room on board. Our first stop on bamboo island was fantastic and we were literally the first boat there and had the island to ourselves. The weather was kind and we got to see everything in the schedule including 2 snorkeling stops and an extra 2 swimming stops. The prices justified the service we received and we have no regrets... The tour was a highlight of our holiday in Phuket. We'd happily recommend Simba including to those with young families.

If I could give more than 5 stars to Simba I would. We went on the Phi Phi Islands sunrise tour and were not disappointed. Our boat crew consisted of three people and our tour guide, Jenny was phenomenal. She spoke English incredibly well and was always quick to communicate the day's plans to every guest. Every member of the crew made us feel welcome and they helped us have a great experience. Even when we were snorkeling members of the crew helped point out creatures of the sea I would have missed and helped me get some amazing GoPro footage. This tour was perfectly planned, the food for breakfast and lunch was amazing and I could not get over how great the tour was. We did a boat tour with Siam Adventure World the next day and it had no comparison to what we experienced with Simba. Please spend a little bit extra and book with Simba, you won't be sorry.

What an amazing day! Do not hesitate to book Phi Phi island Sunrise tour with Simba. Yes it is a very early morning start, yes it is probably the most expensive tour, but its really worth it! The crew is so professional, helpful and they really looking after you the whole day, while also making sure that you enjoy the day and have the chance to take pictures to remember! There is no rush the whole day, everything goes so smooth and there is enough time given at each stop. One thing we noticed, the whole day the Simba boats were the only ones which were different from the others, and give you the chance to actually see the surroundings. My wife and I spent a week in Phuket and we ended up doing two Simba Tours, after being thoroughly impressed by our first tour. We did the Phi Phi island tour, and the James Bond island tour. Both were amazing and I would recommend doing them both because they were very different from each other. The Phi Phi islands tour had snorkeling and a lot of pristine beach and lagoon locations, while the Jamea Bond island tour had no snorkeling but sea kayaking instead, as well as cave exploration. Both times the driver showed up at our hotel in Karon beach early, and was very pleasant to deal with. He takes you directly to their office in the Royal Phuket Marina, where a light morning snack is waiting for you (boiled eggs, coffee, crackers, fruit, etc.). There's then a briefing of the tour on a large map that is very comprehensive so that everyone understands the days schedule and can ask questions. Both times the briefing was done by one of the tour guides named Harry who speaks perfect English. The tour guides themselves were amazing, we had Woody on our first tour and Harry on our second tour and I can guarantee that these guys are top notch. They really do avoid all of the masses, for example we were the first ones on the James Bond island, which apparently is very very busy normally. The tour guides know when the popular spots get busy and using the smaller boat (we had approximately 16 people on our first tour and 15 on the second), they are able to get in and out before the masses. The crew on the boat such as the captain and boat boy were always very friendly, often taking candid pictures of us, which they offer to email to you afterwards at no cost. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Highly recommend.

First class from beginning till end. The pickup process from your hotel is smooth and easy. Once you reach Royal Phuket Marina you are greeted with hellos and smiles. Everyone from the front office staff and the crew on board the boats are super friendly. I can’t speak for other companies but just seeing them out there, I can tell that Simba Sea Trips actually cares and takes care of their clients. I would book another tour with them in a heartbeat. My wife and I did two tours on consecutive days and both were amazing. 5 stars all the way!!!! Keep up the good work.

Where do I start? This was the best part of our trip to Phuket, definitely a must! The staff was extremely professional and kept the entire trip very fun. Best experience you can have ever for island hopping! They know how to treat customers with superb service and very intimate boat not overcrowded. The food is excellent as well as the snacks on the boat! You won't be disappointed! Mo mo and her crew are great. Don't miss this tour they have so many for island hopping! I will be back. Hired a speedboat for the day and it was a fabulous and amazing experience. One that we will never forget. From start to finish we experienced fantastic professional service. It was an early start and we got to see a glorious sunrise. We went exploring places around Phi Phi, always ahead of the crowds thanks to our super fast twin engine boat and a fantastic pilot that new exactly how to maneuver the islands. We had private beaches and private swimming and snorkeling. Saw thousands of fish, even fed the fish and monkeys and swam with some sharks. Ate loads of fruit and good Thai food. This is the best experience I have had. My son said it was the best day of his life and my daughter wants me to buy a speedboat and my wife throughly loved exploring the islands in a high powered boat listening to the music from her phone over the Bluetooth boat speakers.

Great tour of the islands. The boat was very nice, the tour guide was knowledgeable, and there was a nice variety of activities such as canoeing through islands and caves, walking through caves, swimming, etc.

This tour would have to be one of the best my family have been on, it’s absolutely amazing, everything from the time we got picked up to the time we got dropped off. I like to thank Jenny as she made family feel at home, she is an amazing woman. Thank you for a great day.

Momo is an incredible guide, she is super kind and very knowledgeable. Even the lunch they set up for us on Rang Yai was a beautiful spread for two overlooking the perfect turquoise waters. Went with Momo and her crew for a 2nd trip out to the Phi Phi islands! Absolutely amazing as well and Momo is a lady & her crew are lovely all though we have seakey suspicion the captain was getting us soaked up front on purpose! We had a great day there too! We were looking for a day trip to Phi Phi islands with very short notice during New Year and due to covid19 however it was very difficult to find one. Simba managed to make it happen and at a very good price. We basically had the whole boat to ourselves. All three staff were great throughout the day. They could speak good English (and Thai), never rushed us, were willing to take photos of us and prepared a great breakfast. Thank you!

SIMBA tours was an excellent choice for us to visit Phi Phi Islands at sunrise. They were on time at the hotel for pick up. Yuki gave a great briefing of the day. We got started at 6am and we're at our first island for breakfast just after 7. We roamed the island and a wonderful breakfast was served. We stopped at the Viking cave then a lagoon to swim at. Then we headed to the lagoon where The Beach was filmed. BEAUTIFUL!! Then off to see the monkeys on the cliffs swimming., And another place to snorkel. The day ended with a stop at Ranga Island where we were served a fantastic lunch. The entire staff was terrific. I I would highly recommend to anyone

We went on the morning tour and our tour guide was Jane on boat 7. The tour was awesome, We only had about 10 people on the tour so we weren’t jam packed on the boat. We stopped at beautiful places and the first beach was my Favorite (bamboo island). Our tour guide and the two gentlemen on the boat with us were awesome. They seemed to really care about the customers. There was a guy on our tour who couldn’t swim and seemed uneasy on the trip, Jane took him in the water when we stopped to snorkel and swam around with him so he could also have a snorkel experience. He kept saying how amazing snorkeling was when he got back on the boat, I could tell he really appreciated Jane going above and beyond. 10/10 would recommend!

An early start to the morning means getting to some islands before anyone else. Good breakfast, snorkeling, and even the lunch was great. Highly recommend them for the day seeing all of the Phi Phi islands.

3 friends and I recently did a tour with Simba. We chose the morning private tour going to the Phi Phi islands and to say the experience was amazing would be an understatement. The staff (Woody and the rest of the boat crew especially) were incredible, looking after all of our needs and being super fun while doing it! The tour itself was beautiful and even though the private tour was more expensive, for us, it was the way to go. We left shortly before the standard Simba Phi Phi tour and crossed paths several times during the day and they certainly looked like they were having a great time as well though. Being the first to arrive at the beach on one of the Phi Phi islands was truly magical. And from there the rest of the 8 hours was amazing. The itinerary was customized based on the tides to make sure we got the most out of every stop. I would recommend Simba Sea Tours to any one looking for a once in a lifetime experience in Thailand. This will be a day we remember forever

Had a fantastic time. There were only 16 people on boat. Only four people in Van to pick up and drop off. The boat had two engines. You get up earlier for this tour because you get to Islands earlier then everyone else. You’re a step ahead by getting to each island and snorkeling spot. And then first at lunch island. Those facts are what made me chose them. The tour guide was fantastic, she was very good. Telling us about all the islands and taking pictures of us. Some world class photos I might add. As in FB profile for life lol. The snorkeling instructor would show us the fish on a chart that we were swimming by. This was one of the best days of travel I’ve ever had. And I’ve been blessed to travel the world. I would give the overall price, operation and sites we visited a six star if I could. Oh, and they said 5am and were out front at 455am. The lunch they had on island was very, very good. I told them my system didn’t like spices and they made me a special lunch. Which was all you can eat and freshly made. The breakfast and snacks were also very fresh. BOOK this ASAP. They sell out quickly...

After many many tours around the islands in southern Thailand, we have found our “Go To” tour operators, Simba Sea Trips! The staff was absolutely amazing, so hospitable, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable! Our Team was Captain Prayad, Noot and the ever wonderful Harry! They made our trip so fun and we felt like this was the best trip we’ve ever had. Safety was an absolute for this team and yet was still a thrill of a lifetime! Thank you thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We can’t wait to find an excuse to do it again! Wanted also to mention that they took such care of Thailand’s National treasures, they seemed to notice and take a lot of precautions to keep these places protected environmentally. This was one thing that really impressed us! Great job guys! See you all again very soon!

An absolutely amazing experience! The staff are all incredibly helpful, the boats are really nice, new & spacious and the small numbers in the groups make it a truly special tour! The entire itinerary is focused around seeing all the key sights but at times which avoid all the huge groups of people! Sunrise on the boat and breakfast on the beach was a real highlight! Couldn’t recommend it more!

Premium service! They are amazing and worth it. Where our boat only had a half dozen people on board with so much free space, other boats were loaded with near 40 people. Guides go snorkeling with you and spot all the fish and even saw a shark. 5 star! Sunrise is best when alone on a beach

Our Simba Sea adventure was incredible. We had adventured all over Phang Nga Bay stopping at seven amazing spots inside the National Park area as well as off the coasts of Phuket and Krabi. The staff was so knowledgeable and incredibly kind every step of the way from taking photos at each location to making sure we were well fed (the veggie spring rolls were unreal) and hydrated throughout the day. Couldn't have imagined a better way to visit, learn about, and explore Phang Nga!

Without a doubt Simba Sea Trips are amazing. We went on the Phang Bay trip visiting the caves, sea canoeing, James Bond island and much more. The service is amazing, starting with the free hotel pick up, welcome drinks and breakfast at check in. The staff are so attentive, offering you everything you need, drinks and fresh food on the boat during the journey, photo opportunities at the best spots to name but a few. They make you feel privileged to be in such a wonder part of the world sharing new experiences!! It is breathtaking! A truly magical experience, don’t hesitate to book with them....we have!! Our second trip on the Phi Phi islands tour is already booked! And one important last point! They do have a toilet onboard unlike a lot of other boats!

Great trip, loved the fact it left early. Friendly staff, lovely food. The staff also helped us find reef sharks whilst snorkelling which was awesome.

Just front to back an amazing experience. We did a sunrise tour of the Phi Phi islands. Everything was very clean, the staff were very personable, and everything was thought through. We saw other tours out at the same time we were, but I consistently felt ours was the best. For instance, at bamboo island we were the first to arrive. When we were served our delicious breakfast, the other tour groups were coming around and jealous! At the monkey island, the boat driver skillfully got the boat close enough to tempt two monkeys to jump on the front! No food for bait or anything unethical at all. It was magical. Our lunch was also amazing. The guides were eager to show tourists good picture spots and where to see the best snorkeling fish. I even saw an octopus. I could not recommend this company more highly.
