Fantastic place for kids to learn Martial Arts. My son loves going to classes, and the instructors and staff are fantastic with people of all ages. Staff are very welcoming on ever visit with a greeting upon entering and a thank you on departure; very representative of what they teach the students in class; respect, discipline, and honor.

My kid has been part of this Academy for over 4 years, including periods signed up for full afterschool programs. All the staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and competent. Lots of activities, training and fun related, nice environment just renewed, multiple training rooms, and programs for pretty much every age. A great place to learn confidence, defence skills and make new friends. A must to sign up for yourselves or your kids, that's a guarantee. Keep up the great work.

Amazing martial arts facility! We chose this organization over others offered in Pickering...inclusive and truly focused on personal well being through the martial arts discipline. My son is excited for every class and I can see his confidence level moving higher, understanding respect more clearly and overall being positive. Kudos to the instructors! Online classes are just as effective for my son who typically isn't warm to virtual settings. Highly recommend! Do their trial you won't regret it!

Walking into this establishment from the very start was truly a memorable experience! Mr. Guest welcomed a young nervous 5 year old girl with enthusiasm, excitement and confidence. That little girl is now 8 years old with a blue belt status with 3 black stripes on her belt, part of the black belt program for sparing and weapon training and enough confidence and determination lead by true professionals and mentors. Chief Daniel’s, Mr.Paige along with Mr. Guest have my utmost respect in how they mentor these children and help us parents shape them into respectful disciplined citizens. We thank them for navigating through these covid times with grace and understanding they truly care about the safety our their students and we as parents are truly grateful. 5 stars all across the board for sheer excellence. A special thank you to the very pleasant and positive attitude of Mr. Golden who always is accommodating and enthusiastic and such a joy to deal with. A million thank you’s.

Absolutely impressed with this academy. Incredibly attentive, engaged and respectful staff. Mr Fred Black is a beacon of light, a spirited member of the academy, taking the time to greet all the students (and parents). He understands the students personal backgrounds, challenges and strengths and makes a conscience effort every day. My son is part of the aftercare program and the center truly feels like a community, nurturing and instilling the values to raise upright citizens. I look forward to seeing my son grow here and hope to send my daughter as well. Thank you Energy!

Amazing place to learn Martial Arts. From the staff at the front desk to the instructors teaching the classes, Energy strives to make you feel welcomed, supported, and taken care of. Classes are packed with action and learning. Pushing you to reach your goals and go beyond your limits. Highly recommend!

Amazing program & staff. Brooklyn and Fred are always so helpful, positive and really care for each child and make them feel important and welcomed from the second they walk in the door. My son is so excited to come to each class and we couldn't be happier to have found them.

My daughter really enjoys going to martial arts class at Energy Martial Arts. The instructor's are all very attentive and help her to gain confidence as she learns new skills. Mr. Black is great with the kids, greeting them all by name, and engaging with them in a way that makes each child feel special.

Amazing Place, Well Organized, Instructors Top Notch - our son has done a wide variety of organized sports and after school activities and Martial Arts at Energy is by far the best. They are incredibly well organized, well run, both the administrators and classes are seamless and flexible and their the instructors really care. The staff is helpful and a delight to deal with. They teach the kids respect and discipline but do so by instilling kindness and pride in themselves. They came highly recommended to us by some local moms in the area and they did not disappoint.

Amazing, caring instructors. Students advance at their own pace, there is no expectation of moving up belts by a certain time. Lots of different class times to work with almost any schedule.

I had a very unpleasant experience dealing with the Program Coordinator named Brooklynn at the Pickering location. I simply wanted to inquire about the fees for the after-school program but she hesitated to provide the information that I need. I first did my search online and came up with Energy Martial Arts after-school program, filled up the web form. I'm fully aware that the Pickering site is on waitlist as what's mentioned in the website. I followed up with a question with the inquiry as soon as I received something in the mail from you guys, I asked specifically how much the after-school program is and also mentioned that I would like my son to be placed on the waitlist, looking to start in April next year. Then this program coordinator replied and asked some questions, I replied back, then instead of her probing for more questions (which I think the most appropriate thing to do since I'm only inquiring) she then responded with trying to upsell their current promotion for 2 trails of $29.95. At this point, I mentioned back to her that I saw that info on the website but I was only trying to get a ballpark as to how much the cost is. Then to my dismay, she replied saying, "Unfortunately, our after-school program is currently full so I would not be able to offer you that membership but I could definitely add him to the waitlist if you'd like." Do you guys think the people who inquire at your center are stupid? I'm a busy mom and got no time to be given the run-around. She wanted me to avail the promo and when I declined she didn't want to provide further info about my question. I replied back still to say that it seemed she was ignoring my question. Her next email was just her being defensive and "was simply having a conversation with you", who has time for this? Then at the end of her email she started asking questions like how many days I'm interested in looking for the after-school which I think she should have asked in the beginning of the conversation if she really wanted to provide an answer. My excitement turned into frustration. The center maybe great because of the program that you offer, but the people behind it also plays an important role in making sure that the people who wanted to avail the service are provided the information that they need before signing up for the program. I'm very unhappy and if there is a "no star" option in this review I would have chosen it. Very unprofessional!!!

We have two kids enrolled with them since 2018. I have never had any issues with them. Their professionalism is only matched with their kindness and consideration for others. I have never experienced any other place that was kinder, attentive or more dedicated to their staff and students. I wanted my kids to be raised by a loving village, and I found it in them. I am so proud of the transformation I saw in my kids, and I will always credit Energy Martial Arts and all their instructors and staff (past and present) for their efforts and dedication to strengthen our kids with professionalism, love, respect, kindness, and patience. I see this treatment extended to all the kids that enter. We were immensely impressed by how they handled the online classes during covid. My kids' enthusiasm never dimmed and the instructors' energy resonated on the screen. They made sure that the kids were getting the support they needed, and they advanced with hard earned merit. I am beyond grateful for finding this gem. Amazing role models, impressive program.

My son started in late September. He has tried soccer before but didn’t like it and cried. He did show interest from a youtube video so we thought to try it out. We were grateful for the trial classes. When we brought him in we weren’t sure how he would enjoy it. He came out smiling and happy. Mr. Black and his staff have been nothing short of amazing. You can see the personal touch with each family. It feels like you’ve been going forever. We are very happy so far and continue to enjoy every week

Two of my children have been attending for over seven years. It has been one of the best things for not only their physical development, but also their social-emotional development. The staff is exceptional, kind, compassionate and nurturing. The energy is so positive. Honestly they have been my children's second family and have been instrumental in the development of their self-esteem and confidence. They take into account what your individual child's needs and support your child to succeed.

Wonderful place that is truly committed to empower students through their wonderful Martial Arts Program. They have a friendly, kind and respectful atmosphere. My son has gained self confidence and looks forward to exercising and having fun every week! Staff are helpful and friendly and have gone over and above to ensure we are enjoying and benefiting from their program! Overall an inclusive and welcoming Martial Arts Academy! Highly recommended!
