September 23, 2023 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was thrilled to finally visit Tahini's in person, and I must say, it perfectly matched the vivid description my partner had given me. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and provided helpful menu suggestions that enhanced our dining experience. The food was not only skillfully prepared but also incredibly flavorful. For our dining choice, we selected to dine in. One small recommendation I'd offer is to ensure that the tables receive a thorough wipe-down, as it was a bit challenging to find a clean, available spot to sit. In addition to our on-site dining experience, we ordered a third meal to-go for my son, who also savored every bite. September 19, 2023 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My partner surprised me with a delightful dinner from Tahini's. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to accompany him to place the order, but I've heard nothing but wonderful things about the ordering experience. As for the dish itself, I must admit it was incredibly delicious. I was genuinely impressed by the wide range of options they offer. The portion size exceeded my expectations, leaving me with plenty of leftovers to enjoy. I'm eagerly looking forward to visiting the restaurant in person to explore more of their delectable offerings. The picnic dinner at the park couldn't be any more perfect.

What a great addition to Pickering. Tahinis will do very well from the trendy upbeat decor and lighting to the excellent service. Mimi was amazing and very helpful as it was my first visit and she also personally prepared and packaged my meals. She even told me i won't be disappointed and I will return...she's right! Can't wait to go back. The food was so flavorful, from the rice to meat and sauces. The beef bacon was also very well cooked and not stiff and chewy compared to some places. Multiple food options available and very customizable to your liking.

Excellent food here. My go to for middle Eastern food now. Ingredients were fresh and they have simplified the ordering process with pre selected options. I recommend the Shawn bowl and the tandoori wrapped

There are a couple of shawarma restaurants in the Pickering area (Osmows, Afghan Kabab & Shawarma) - but more is always a good thing. So Tahini is a welcome addition to the neighbourhood. As always, we ordered a mix of things: Regular Habibi Bowl - Chicken shawarma on rice with pita chips Regular Jamaican Jerk Bowl - Jerk chicken shawarma on a rice with pineapples, onions and tomatoes. The chicken was very well flavoured as were the onions. The rice tasted very nice too Regular Chicken Shawarma Bowl - Chicken shawarma on rice Chicken Shawarma Poutine - Poutine topped with chicken shawarma. The gravy was awesome and the shawarma topping was good. The cheese could have been more generous but all in all, this was a big hit Dozen Falafel - with a tahini dipping sauce. The star of the entire meal. I've never had falafel that was this fluffy and crispy. There are just a few small tables for a sit-down meal. The service was very polite and friendly. Based on our experiences with hot sauce from The Halal Guys, we opted for a medium spice level. However, the medium level hot sauce was disappointing in flavour & lacked any sort of bite. Perhaps going in for hot might the way to go in the future. We definitely enjoyed the flavours and will definitely eat here again.

Tahini's - Mediterranean Delight in Pickering First Impressions: Bright, stylish interior with friendly vibes. Love the neon logo and the grass wall. Experience: Fantastic service, especially Ali. Relaxed atmosphere even after a busy day. Must Try Dishes: - Blueberry Flame: Sweet and spicy perfection. - Shawn Bowl: Half-rice, half-salad, all deliciousness. - Messy Fries: Chicken shawarma on crispy fries—need I say more? Overall, Tahini's is a Mediterranean gem in Pickering. Perfect for a night out with friends. Don't miss out when you're in the area!

My family recommended I try this place as they loved it and indeed, it was an excellent experience! I was very impressed when the person who took our order remembered my brother by name and asked about my family. Everyone was very pleasant. Food was delicious! One minor issue was that corporate has changed the sizes of the food recently so instead of small and large, there was only one medium size. But, regardless, besides loving the food, the restaurant was clean and bright and inviting with good people there. Also the bowls are very customizable for your tastes. Highly recommend you try them out!

The food did not disappoint! I went to a previous location elsewhere that didn’t quite have the taste I remembered Tahini’s having, but this does and has so much more! The customer service was superb, and the food was amazing! I do not know where to start. First up was the messy fries for me and my family, and they were so tasty, the sauce was fantastic and the fries were very nicely cooked. Then I had their Habibi bowl with extra garlic and Tzaziki. Long story short, it did not disappoint! Will definitely come here again.

Don't know if this was a one time thing, but probably the most disappointing meal from Tahini's that i've ever eaten. Their 'Bowl' is only one size; they used to have a much bigger bowl but the one we received was so small. Very disappointing. It wasn't even good to begin with, the gyro tasted old and there was barely any sauce in the bowl. The second item we got was a large gyro wrap. Basically it was really dry, tasted stale, and the gyro was old (exactly like the bowl as described above). Definitely won't be coming back here, such a waste of time and money.

The owner Mr. Shah was very polite. We ordered 2 Large Falafel Wraps. $13.99 Each. One Wrap is good for 2 People. The Taste of the food was good. Service was a bit slow, but that's okay. Good ambience.

This is my honest opinion. I found this place to be wonderful to visit with family, excellent taste. Very helpful owner operated. Surprised with cost of large shawarma. I visit every week with my family.
