I really enjoyed the breakfast at this establishment. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. My only suggestion would be to have the option of turkey or chicken bacon as the only alternative to pork bacon was a vegetarian option that only vegans and Vegetarians can appreciate.

Staff here are wonderful! Always ensuring your coffee is full and following up. The highlights were the homemade jam and home fries. Kids had pancakes but didn’t look as fluffy as I thought however they are large. We called to reserve as breakfast gets busy, parking is a bit tricky so keep that in mind but will def be back hopefully next time they have colouring books for the kiddos as it wasn’t offered the time we stopped in.

Super tasty vegan food! We had the Vegan Ultimate Waffle Sandwich and the Vegan Bacon and Eggs. We ordered a gluten free bun with the eggs and they were sure to let us know the bacon contained gluten. The staff were friendly and the ambiance very cheerful. We were visiting family from out of town, but I'm sure we will be back.

My first experience here was INCREDIBLE! The staff were so upbeat & kind, the atmosphere was great, plus the food was delicious. I was so happy to learn that they had so many amazing vegan options as well, and ordered their vegan waffle sandwich! Definitely will be coming back for more🤤 *Came back, friend got the Unicorn pancakes and omg!

What an AMAZING little place, with a great sense of humour! They call themselves Fart Cafe (Food & ART), and both the food and art are wonderful. Amazing, unique menu, gorgeous art, and wonderful, friendly and charismatic staff. Phoebe in particular was an absolute delight. Thank you for such an unexpectedly great meal and experience on our way through Whitby! Definitely high-key recommend.

The staff were amazing! Cheerful and helpful. The eggs benedict on a scone was my only sort of disappointment in the sense that it completely masked the deliciousness of the scone. Rather get something else with the scones so you don't miss out. Staff don't wear masks now so take that as you will.

Loved it! The staff is so friendly, the food was yummy, portions are good, plenty of variety. They even customized my order since I'm vegetarian. The art in the cafe makes for an interesting ambience. But nothing beats the food! Can't wait to visit again.

Gave this place a first time try for brunch on a Saturday. It was busy, but we were lucky to get a table for three with no wait. Note: there is a 1 hour 15 minute limit in their busy services. Everything everyone says about this place is true; great, welcoming service, decor with a sense of humour and they obviously do brunch really well. My wife and her friend enjoyed their breakfasts. Highlight from my wife’s meal was the banana bread french toast. She says it was the freshly baked scone and homemade peach jam. We moved to Durham a bit more than a year ago and I’ve been struggling to fulfill my Filipino food cravings and so when I saw the “Filipino Beef Stew” (Kaldereta) on the menu, I had to. Best Filipino food I’ve had in Durham Region thus far. Wish they had more Filipino food on their menu!

Absolutely amazing experience and enjoyed everything that I tasted at Food & Art Cafe! The Scones with the 3 choices of jams were out of this world. Everything I tasted was bursting with flavour! There are so many amazing choices on their menu! I highly recommend FART CAFE!

Loved it, loved it, loved it. What more can I say. Staff is incredible, food was delicious. Not a wheelchair friendly building but we were able to get the chair in and the staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend this establishment to everyone who enjoys quality food and a cheerful atmosphere. And of course the staff who cares.

This place is amazing! Everyone is so friendly and high-energy. We found this place entirely by accident and have visited four times so far. There is a LARGE VEGAN selection here, including vegan versions of traditional breakfast items: omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese. etc. And pancakes too! And it's all so tasty. I highly recommend this place. Reservations are recommended, but we didn't have any the first time and were seated.

This place is awesome, food turned out great and the service is really good:) I would recommend making a reservation beforehand as it is incredibly busy! I did think four dollars for my cranberry juice in such a small cup was a lot, but other than that everything else was reasonably priced!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Been to this restaurant so many times and always leave with happy faces. The food and the staff here are the best. I always get the eggs bennies and my husband likes the crepes.

📍The Fart Café ⭐️8/10 The Food and Art Cafe has a fun name and equally fun vibe. The food is pretty good and many dishes have beautiful presentation, much like the artistic pieces covering the dining area. If you're ever passing through Whitby, the fart is definitely worth a stop by! We got: Unicorn pancakes - $16.50 Mango chicken wrap - $18.50 **Follow @smfoodd on Instagram for more reviews!!

Im a vegetarian and my husband is a vegan and this place is JUST perfect to hang out on a cute Sunday sunny morning!🫶 they have variety of options for vegan and vegetarian as well as for non vegetarian. Sunday well spent! I even took their peach jam because it was SOOOO GOOD🍑

I've been here 4 times now. The place is always busy and lively. The owner and staff are very friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. Menu has some good-looking options, I definitely have to branch out and try something other than (like Filipino dishes, poutines, french toast or pancakes), the standard eggs, bacon, home fries, and scone. The med breakfast could use 3 pieces of bacon over 2. I'm not much of a scone person. I don't care for it, but everyone else around seems to enjoy it. The jams I would rank raspberry, blueberry, then peach. Prices are tad on higher side, but this is a great local place, and I'll certainly be back to try something different.

Came here with my friend on Saturday and had an excellent time. It is a busy place so making reservations is a must, in order to keep the reservations running smoothly, there is a time limit for how long you will be seated. This does allow enough time to eat as the food comes out from the kitchen pretty fast. However you can't stay camped out for hours with coffee after your meal is finished. I came here for the vegan options and our server was really helpful in narrowing down the extensive menu with some helpful suggestions. I had the vegan chicken sandwich which was really good 😋 highly recommend! Fries were great and there's ketchup at all the tables. I'll definitely be back to try the pancakes. As for the art, it is everywhere, in every corner and hanging from the ceilings. I believe all the pieces are for sale and there was also a silent auction for several paintings. 11/10 would fart again!

I had been in the mood for brunch for weeks. This place was perfect. I called in the morning for reservations and luckily they had space. We had to be in and out within 50 minutes because we had a movie scheduled. I told the staff and they were able to accommodate us. However, we came prepared and knew what to order when we arrived. The staff is lovely and friendly. The place is super cool with the art and great ambiance. The food was just extremely yummy! I had the eggs Benedict mega. Every bite was just exquisite. I had to put my fork down so that I could fully enjoy the food, it was so good I got super excited lol! The salad with the homemade dressing was definitely worth the upgrade. Hubby had the FART meal, he said it was good. I had some of his pumpkin bread french toast and it was to die for. I can’t wait to come back and have more of the delish food! The experience was great, I’m so glad I found this local restaurants :)

Absolutely delicious food here, great visual art and vibe inside, very friendly attentive staff, and the best home fries you'll ever experience.

First time visiting Food +Art, after hearing/ reading such great reviews. My family and I were not disappointed. The service was amazing and the food even better . Our server, along with the rest of the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely phenomenal, fresh, and left me in a food coma when I got home. The atmosphere and decor were unique, just adding to the overall experience. This is by far one of the best restaurants I've been to in Durham region . I will be back for sure.

This is a family-run business and you can really feel the love and hospitality of everyone (it felt like home). When it comes to customer service, they definitely set the bar really high. The food is amazing. I had the BIG FART and their scones and jams are all home made and freshly made. Sooo good. They're super friendly and the whole atmosphere is amazing. Would definitely come back. Thank You.

My family loves this place so much! It's our go to breakfast joint in Whitby. We've been here so many times and not once were we ever disappointed. My husband's go-to is their stuffed French Toast sandwich and for me it's their Epic Bennys (LOVE!). Decided to try their ultimate Waffle Sandwich and Breakfast Crepe the other day and they were delicious too! Service is always fantastic here, the staff are always so friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend this spot!

👍👍 This plaza is great from that I've seen, I have been to Putting Edge and LandMark Cinemas here. They have a ton of different options and food places to try from. I will definitely be going back again and trying their different restaurants that caught my attention.

🫤 To begin with, the place itself is nicely decorated and the booths are private so I loved the atmosphere. The server was attentive, so we did feel looked after. The cons are a few, hence the two starts. First, I ordered the fish tacos made with cod and they smelled very fishy and old, even our waitr...
