One of my favourite hikes along the Seaton Trail. Quieter than other sections and some beautiful views.

Beautiful views from forest, hiking and biking trails are straightforward it would be hard to get lost if you stay on the path and if you do there is always someone coming by every 10 mins or so but it’s not crowded. The paths are not maintained but they are used so frequently they are clear. There is a dog park near the parking lot that is huge. Parking lot is not that big and it fills quickly if your not there by 9am on a weekday!

Seaton trail follows creek closely with many openings to get closer to the edge of the water. Densely forested trail with lot of mosquitos during the spring/summer seasons. Good for hiking and cycling. Not much wildlife though apart from common birds, squirrels and chipmunks.

2 leash free enclosed dog parks, one at top near parking lot, one larger one down the long hill. City maintained no pick up in winter months, very poopy, please pick up waste.

Loved the trail be ready to walk a lot . Carry drinking water ..overall nice trail .. completely out of city life. You have to drive through a dirt road as lots of construction. Parking is for few cars .

Fantastic park for those with or without dogs! 2 separate fully fenced spaces(1 for small dogs and puppies*ONCE OF APPROPRIATE AGE/SHOTS*, and the other for bigger dog) Not to mention the PHENOMENAL trails that criss cross and loop throughout the park! Dogs are SUPPOSED to be leashed when not in the fenced in areas, and are frequently not.

Secluded trail for hiking on a hot summer day. Very cool and shady with multiple species of trees. Also good for dog walks. Park is midway and appeared well kept with litter bags to dispose of your dog's litter. There is also a river at the base of the trail. Lovely place to hang out if you're a nature person.

Hiked the southern 1/3 of the Seaton Trail from Concession 3 to Forestream Trail and back. Very scenic especially along the banks of the West Duffins Creek. The trail itself has been neglected in many places as there are many established unofficial trails in competition with the marked trail.
