This is a review for Dr Tirmizi’s office, It is March 14th now. I saw Dr. Tirmizi back in early February and she recommended that I see a specialist. Her service was fine but her receptionist staff deliver absolutely horrible service. They will tell you to call the office and then not answer the phone (ext.#2, 20 attempts over 14 days and the phone was never answered). They'll tell you to drop in to follow-up and then give you attitude when you do, even though you point out that you were told to drop in to follow-up by the receptionist. They will tell you that they will call you and 12 days in my case will pass without getting that call. This doctor's office either needs a service oriented manager or better trained staff. My honest recommendation is to find another walk-in with better front desk service and avoid the likely hassle you will experience. I overlooked the other reviews on this place and paid the price with wasted time and frustration. Don't make the same mistake!

It is impossible to reach Dr. Milankov's receptionist, and impossible to book an appt with Dr. Milankov without a MONTH wait. Also his receptionist doesn't reply to voice mail, brazenly hangs up on you at whim if you don't agree with her and has a shockingly unprofessional attitude for a customer facing role!

This is a review for Dr Trimizi’s office. I’ve called several times regarding a requisition that needs to be signed and it’s been 15 days since it’s been submitted and still no response. The receptionist is never there and either never calls back or calls back late in the evening with an excuse why they can’t answer the call. I’ve been told the requisition only takes a few minutes to fill out. Also, I’ve booked appointments in the past but it seems like patients from the walk in clinic are prioritized. Why is it that your own patient has to wait an hour for their scheduled appointment?

This is the second appointment I have been stood up for by Dr Tirmizi. I had made a phone appointment at the beginning of the year and was never called, or called back when I called and left a message to reschedule. I have been stood up again for an appointment yesterday that was changed from in person to over the phone due to weather. I called 3 hours after my appointment and left a message to reschedule. I have ongoing serious medical issues I need a family practice to look after but I guess I will get better care from a walk in closer to home until I am able to find another family doctor. So disappointing and honestly disheartening to have a doctor who cares so little about their patients.

Tried to call a dozen times and no one calls me back. Dr Zekri seems to be good but the receptionists aren’t doing their job! We are dealing with a very important matter - health! Please answer the phone or at least call back when you get voice messages.

So I have to wait over a month for an appointment to see Dr. Milankov. On top of that his receptionist is extremely rude. If I could find a new doctor I would....

For those looking into Dr Tirimizi as a family doctor, I suggest looking elsewhere, this clinic will waste your time, book bloodwork appointments for days the doctor is out of town on vacation, and won't contact you to let you know until you show up for your appointment. Be patient and look elsewhere. I wish I did.

Just horrible This is "supposed" to be my mother's dr. Gives phone appt, confirms day only no time, doesn't call. Did get a couple calls from nurse practitioner but never helped her. After many trips to the hospital my mother has stage 4 esophageal cancer. Still has not heard from Dr Tirmizi, even though she would have received the info. How many months wasted with nothing being addressed? DO NOT GO TO THIS DR Wish there was option for negative rating cause she doesn't deserve a 1

Edit: I have a daily medication I need to take, used to be prescribed 100 pills with refills before and now Dr. Milankov changed it to 20 at a time with one refill. I then need to go to my pharmacy and have them fax him each time I need a refill. This is a massive waste of my time, I believe they do it so he can continue to charge the prescription more often and make more $$$$ .. my pharmacy has made requests to go back to the 100 pills per fill and they’ve been ignored each time. Look elsewhere for a family doctor if you can. Impossible to get a hold of Dr. Milankov , not sure if he has too many patients or if it’s just the receptionist but I’m always playing phone tag and if I don’t immediately answer her calls you can bet I won’t get another chance until the next day . The Dr is good , but it’s such a pain to get a hold of him. The current wait time for a phone call is one month.

Been seeing Tara lately received call from her today about tests I had. She took her time with me was so informative. Read through the results and took time to explain same! Smiling Voice over phone and so well mannered! Hope she stays with dr Tirmizi for many years best wishes to this lovely lady Marie she even offered to email me the results

I have been with Dr. Tirmizi for many years. Sadly her staff hangs up on my like today when I called for results of my blood work done 3 weeks ago. Her name is Zoya. Zoya hung up on me because I was frustrated that I never hear from Dr. Tirmizi about my results. I went to another walkin doctor, and she called right away with my results and actually mailed them to me. But Zoya today hung on me. No worries. Time to make a complaint to CPSO. Bye

I had the absolute best experience at this walk-in. The receptionist was absolutely amazing. The doctor saw us very quickly. Diagnosed my son, wrote an rx and we were on our way. The entire visit (including waiting for the pharmacy to fill the prescription) took less than 30 minutes. We will definitely be back!

I was seen by the famous Tara King for my complaint. The woman is a most excellent & welcomed addition to the practise of medicine. She was professional, informative, caring, engaging and thorough.

Dr. Milankov is good, receptionist for him is bad, very very bad

worst possible doctor I have ever seen, 2 years ago I came in to see a doctor, I forgot her name but she was young and her background was Indian or something similar, she stated that I have diverticulitis and should go to the ER, I didn't have that at all but without any kind of real testing she basically told me I have this, In a panic I went to the ER and had some kind of allergic reaction to the drink they gave me for scan prep, since then I've been having issues 2 years later from that reaction. Horrible choice listening to these doctors and the thing she diagnosed me with wasn't accurate at all.

I have been with Dr. John Ram for 8+ years since I moved to Pickering. The reception staff is professional and friendly. Calls are returned and appointments are booked accurately where I'm sent to a room immediately as I arrive for my appointment time. The doctor sees me shortly after as I've NEVER had to wait more than 10 mins for him. The doctor has helped both myself and my son with various issues. As a pedestrian I have been hit by a car and on a second occasion had a concussion accident where both times I had to visit Dr. Ram weekly. He has given me the medical care I needed to help with both recoveries. His appointments never feel rushed, he makes great recommendations and referrs me to a specialist when needed. I am blessed to have such a wonderful doctor to provide me with exceptional medical care! Dr. John Ram is highly recommend!

Dr Zekri is awesome. Very understanding and accommodating of supporting someone with their health needs. Strongly recommend the guy

Dr.Tirmizi and her office are unprofessional and there is a lack of care for patients. This is the 4th time I have been cancelled on for an appointment on the day of although I booked it a month in advance. They cancelled on the same day and without any notice. People take time off from work for this. It’s absolutely careless and unacceptable. I wish there were more doctors that are accepting patients right now, not sure how her and her office get away with this!

Dr. Milankov is wonderful, but getting ahold of him is next to impossible - no one ever, EVER picks up the phone, and there's no email... it's been this way since I started going there (5 years now). Every time I call I have to leave a message, and 90% of the time when I get a call back there's no availabilities, so I end up having to take myself or my two small children to a walk-in. I don't even know why I bother having a family doctor, if we just end up at a walk-in every time. Again, nothing against Dr. Milankov, it's just impossible to see him. Today when I tried calling during office hours, and the voice-message said "we are no longer accepting voicemails" - what the heck?!

Tara at the Clinic is amazing. She is so concerned and reaches out to you repeatedly to see how you are doing. A breath of fresh air at the clinic.

Dr. Tirmizi is very knowledgeable and takes time with her patients.

Dr. Milankov has been seeing my family for my entire life, I cannot remember having a different GP. No, he is not perfect, as no provider is, but has helped my family greatly, like referring my mom back to a GYN which caught her cancer at stage 1. Sometimes they are hard to get ahold of, and it would be nice if phone appts had smaller timeframes than 6hrs to wait for the call.

Great experience. I was a little hesitant to go as many people have bad reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised. Yes you need to go early as they do stop taking patients once they get to a full capacity. The receptionist was very professional and the Dr. genuinely cared (quite impressive for someone who will most likely only see you once). I think the people with negative reviews just had unrealistic expectations for a walk in clinic.

wish i could give it less than one star. Came here to see Dr Tirmizi’s who is my grandmas (86 years old) doctor for years. we are currently waiting over an hour and a half for an appointment we have had booked for weeks. they should have at least called to say they were running extremely behind. the lady at the front desk is rude and this place is awful.

I have had Dr. Milankov as my family Dr. for about twenty years. He is always there to listen to your needs and give you the best care possible. If you have to wait is because he gives care to each patient and don't rush you out the door.
