Oh what a wonderful feeling to be able to go out and see other people! Staff is great, food is amazing I can't seem to get enough of their nachos and fries but there are so many more choices in the menu. Patio is cozy too. Live music at its finest. Spacious and clean. Top notch establishment for sure!

Great dive bar !!! Great live music weekends and also fun on Wednesday night with a DJ. Great friendly social crowd and the staff are great also. Crowd varies in age but something for everybody here. Update : Now they have started charging $10 to $15 cover on Thursday's so TD just not worth it anymore to go there. I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND this place for Thursday night entertainment as the bands aren't anything to write home about trust me

Really great (loud, but great)band, great drinks (one of the beer companies was promoting a new beverage, so our first was free! 🍻) and, as always in Canada, the poutine was 👍👏! We played pool ($35 deposit/$15 hr) -really nice tables. We were there on a Saturday- it was packed. Make sure to make reservations if there are more than 2 of you. Also, the night we were there there was a $10/pp cover charge.

Fun locale! Came here to celebrate my 30th birthday. Good food, awesome music, and an overall fun vibe. Multiple different sitting areas as well as darts and pool. Waitress was super friendly, and very helpful with my dietary restrictions. This was a first visit, but am looking forward to coming back again ! It is definitely catered to a mature population :)

My cousin and I were looking for a pub with live music to hang out at, and we ended at The Edge. We were welcomed by a very wonderful bartender, and everyone was friendly. Lots of pool tables and the music was great. The food was great too. Next time, I will sign up to jam with the band. This place is a nice place to enjoy music and food. If you live in Durham region, try them out, and you will not be disappointed.

The drinks are watered down. I have only been here once and it was a busy weekend night, so maybe they only water them down on weekends?? But they were most certainly watered. I had Strongbow which was on tap - watery. Then I switched to vodka and water. In a small glass like that you should taste some vodka. All I tasted was water. Plus I am a small person and cannot ever drink that much and I walked out of there feeling mildly buzzed after drinking twice my normal amount. Crowd was ages 30-50ish. It's not a huge place, so if you want to sit, get there early. A lot of the tables were made unavailable because they had been reserved ahead of time. They have about 6 pool tables and charge a reasonable price to play. The staff were friendly and helpful.

One of the best in Durham for live music. Always packed on the weekends, so arrive early or make reservations in advance. I have been here many Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Always lively, even between sets they have DJ playing tunes to keep the vibe going.

A really nice setup and great food. Has a really nice cosy atmosphere. You’d think you’re in a mountain lodge somewhere. Great for a regular hangout, catch a game of pool or just watch sports.

Tried to reserve a table for St. Pats day, 53 unanswered calls over a period of a week and unanswered emails as well. Finally got through the 54th time and reservations are full 🙄. I also had a table reserved New Year’s Eve that was given to someone else without any notification ( probably given to a regular). The venue is nice and the atmosphere is good but I won’t be returning.

Attended a friends 50th birthday at the Edge but have been there many times before. They have great bands on the weekends! Great dancing. Mature audience.

The Edge is among the finest bars in Ajax. We have always loved the service, the food quality or the vibe - never let down. Please make sure to have the Chicken Tortilla Flutes as it really is the absolute best appetizer on the menu. The owners and the staff have been there forever and are an absolute delight. The finest bar in Ajax hands down.

Love the live bands! Friday and Saturday night are live bands five dollar cover after ten.Prices are around eight dollers a beer. Only had apps and wings.Great place to meet new people. There are quite a few regulars always guaranteed to be people on the dance floor. The DJ kicks in for a few sessions. It alternates from band to DJ. The picture is of Kat she is really talented.

If looking for Full On Fun, go to "the Edge" of it all. Great place to make new friends. I have been enjoying this club for last 5 years. I religiously celebrate my birthday there for many years now along with my friends. Friday nights are good for guys and Saturday nights are great for gals. I love it all, the live bands, the bouncer, and the relaxed but happening atmosphere. The best weekend hangout in Durham. This place makes me feel very safe and special. 🎶🤪🥰

If you’re looking for a place to go on a Saturday night this is a packed place. Live band. Live DJ. $10 cover. Prices for food and drinks on the higher side. Ordered a quesadilla $16 it was really good. Service was good considering how busy it was. Very loud. Lots of people dancing. Lots of reserved seats. Definitely will be back.

An Ajax staple that has stood the test of time! I have frequented this place for close to 20 years. A great spot for pool, both casually and on league night as well as a great atmosphere for a weekend night out, The Edge has been and continues to be one of the best bars in Durham Region. The menu is fantastic, full of food prepared fresh and in house. The staff is always willing to go that extra mile to provide top quality, efficient service. The kitchen is always open late and the servers themselves will prepare menu items if needed for the late night customer. I highly recommend The Edge, you will not be disappointed!

Wow. I didn`t know a tall can of domestic beer costs $9.00, explanation I got at 720pm was that the price increases when people start coming in to the the live entertainment . No one was coming in and no Band playing. I guess staring at the wall of a empty bar is okay to charge 4 bucks more than most establishments in Durham for a tall can of beer. i don`t know how some of these places stay a float, service was not great. Pretty snarky bartender. Like she`s tired of being asked why prices go up before live entertainment even starts. Another example of a business that doesn't care . Just want hat you have in your wallet!

What a great vibe and so cozy and inviting. Wonderful place to throw darts and play pool ! Weekends is always bumping with a live band or DJ.. It can get busy but the vibes are always pleasant ! Great staff, they work hard and friendly! The food is good, edge burger was juicy and tasty. Their nachos are outstanding! Highly recommended! If ur there for the game , they have some cozy couches and seats to take in the game. I look forward to my next visit for darts !

What a gem. Went to see Canada Roxx play. Great service, excellent food. And I loved the comfy seating. And it only took me 28 years of living in Ajax before visiting the edge. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I went on a date night to this place. It was really busy but Stacy made us feel welcome and entertained. The food is good but the service is amazing. Thank you Stacy for making it a wonderful night to remember.

I went here long after my first visit with a friend, we had a blast!! The band playing that night was amazing. A place to dance and to disconnect from everyday life.

The entertainment on Sunday night is wayyyyy better than you'd expect from entertainment on a Sunday night! Good foot, excellent service as well. Can't wait to go back. Recommended for sure!!!!!

Great vibes, great music, definitely a club type of environment. It was busy but even still the bar staff kept up with the high inflex if customers. Definitely a bumping place for a friday night

The primere night club in Durham! Great atmosphere, good food, and live music Thursday through to Sunday. The owner, Peter is always on hand to greet you and make you feel part of the community, no matter where you're from. This is the best place to have a dinner, drinks with friends, and catch a band.

Great Bar!! Service is excellent, always get it right. The food is awesome, never eaten anything I didn't like from here. Beer is reasonably priced. The live music is really cool too, always bringing in live bands for Friday's/Saturdays and they run other events like Darts too. Lots of comfortable seating and overall very friendly people, only good things to say.

I've been going to the Edge for a long time now and I always had a great time. The bands we had seen were amazing and I look forward to seeing more bands perform. I love the mature atmosphere. The staff are friendly and always with a smile. Once you meet the regular patrons they become your dear friends. Even though I live in Scarborough, the Edge is still my go to place for a great time.

Loved the vibe of this place. We wanted to catch the band Dramazoid. It was our first time at The Edge. We really had an amazing time! The band was ridiculous!! They are so incredible..we are totally going to follow them to catch them at another time. The venue was great! The crowd is friendly and fun!

Everything about the edge is Mastery. From the owner right down to the staff. 3xs I've been and I am always impressed with the care my friends and I recieved regularly!
