Somewhat challenging trail. Total is 13/14 Km but the view is amazing. Few access points and so that can shorten the trail if you can arrange pickup. At the entrance there is a dog park and sometimes parking lot is full. But can find find parking side of the road as well. Be careful about poison Ivy.

Visited on a beautiful November day. Enjoyed a 1 hour hike... so much more to see. Easy to manage paths, lots of smaller side paths and great scenery!

Excellent trail with many scenic views along the river. Traveling north to Whitevale is about 10km or 3-4 hours. The trail is more challenging at the North end. It is listed on trail forks for mountain biking; it's doable but you would need to walk some sections and carry your bike up the stairs.

If you’re looking for something to do in the Pickering area, the Seaton Trail is a charming hiking trail. There are many small streams, creeks, and rivers throughout the trail. There are a few designated areas where dogs can roam free/without a leash, so be prepared to see lots of dog owners with their dogs along the trail. Unfortunately, not all dog owners follow their dog owner duties and responsibilities so watch your step while you enjoy the nature that surrounds you.

A hidden treasure with many things to enjoy! Abandant Parking, well-maintained and nice trail to walk through, traversing along the river was very enjoyable. πŸ™‚

Many people do not put their dogs on leashes while walking down the hiking area which makes it unsafe for the hikers.

These are from the Grand Valley Park entrance Xmas 2018. Trails are interesting with lots of levels and a lovely winding river.

Nice and scenic trail BUT, in spring watch out for snakes. Been there few times and everytime I have gone I saw 2 or 3. They are Garten snakes so not poisonous but enough to freak you out ha. ALSO, that place has ton of ticks in a grass and leafs. Make sure your pet has tick meds and please inspect him/her after the hike.

Beautiful trail - was my first time there today. Thought I should write a review as much as the trail is gorgeous, PLEASE BE WARNED there are tons of ticks there and both of my dogs had them (notice one on my way home when I went to pet my dog on the head) . I have found well over 25 between both dogs, took them to the vet and still finding more this evening. Both dogs were on leash, but my vet told me they love the fallen leaves and they are breeding like crazy this time of year. Lovely trail, ticks are out of control 😭.
