I had a wonderful catering experience. Taste, quantity and quality everything was perfect. The first bite tells you that the chef is someone who has been trained professionally to cook Pakistani food.

This is what I got after waiting 35min, no respect for complaints and when you going to explain them, they said we just eat it it’s good like seriously, paneer is terribly bad and I told several time them on phone it’s not good but still they saying me I eat it it’s good, Overall, waste of time waste of money, And I have to throw the food. Such a shame. Paneer is terribly bad inside and outside as well taste very bad. Rest thing is good but after talking with them I decided not to eat because they think they are right. Never coming back to this location.

Food was horrible, service was non existant, utensils were dirty and disgusting. This is the first time I didn't bring home the left over food. Never going back to this restaurant again. I recommend you to stay back from this place

Excellent food & service. Love the shrimp biryani, its our family favourite. Tandoori chicken, butter chicken, lamb karhai, seekh kebabs, lamb chops, chicken jal frezi, channa chaat and chaat papri are our other favourites. Worth visiting. Recently tried their yummy beef and chicken kebab rolls. Simply loved them.

Ok'ish food. Hit or Miss taste. Leather Menu is not accurate, use the paper book menu. Chili Chicken was good & tasted nice with fresh Naan. Seekh Kabab were ok. Nihrai is nothing more than a plain curry. And Biryani, unfortunately, is tasteless. They serve plenty of sauce & raita with dine-in, which is great. Washrooms are clean.

Compared to the multiple times we have ordered from here including a catering order in July 2019 for my parents 50th anniversary their standards have become worse. I ordered the bbq platter for thanksgiving in 2021 it had absolutely no taste it was like eating plain rice and trying to wash it down with water. Very sad their quality has gone below zero. Will not recommend them even my dogs would not eaT it I threw it out.

We had catering done for 100 people. The order pick up time was 6:45pm, from 7:30 on we were repeatedly told it'll take 5 minutes more. Finally, at 8pm the 6:45pm order was ready. We were expecting to serve dinner for the 100 people by 7:15, instead we served dinner at 8:15 when the hall was rented until 9:30pm. The owner or the staff were not responsive and didn't take accountability to try and resolve the issue or try to optimize and speed up the process. No call to apologize or

This was the first and last time that I ordered food from this catering. Very Unprofessional owner, when I talked to him regarding my order which was less. He rudely behaved and talked. They sent me the same amount of food for 30 people and then the next time for 45 people. I called them several times. Eventually, They referred me to the owner. He addressed the issue in a very rude and inhumane approach and hung up on me at the end. If this is the case, I would neither order food from this catering in the future nor recommend it to my family and friends.

Excellent Service! The server was very friendly, patient and helpful! Last week Saturday, April 2nd, 4 of us were there for lunch. We had no idea what to order. The server was very helpful and patience throughout the order/decision process. Food was excellent, and we enjoyed it and had a great time! Menu price - very reasonable!!! We are definitely coming back and will recommend to all our friends, family, colleagues and neighbors. The male server service was excellent, above and beyond!!!

Great staff, reasonable prices and most importantly amazingly great tasting food especially their BBQ items, Biryani, Nihari and Haleem.

All COVID measures taken in. Dine in open till date. Food was excellent! It was our first time and we didn’t know what to expect in terms of quantity. The quantity was generously portioned, we saved quite a lot of food at the end. The taste is marvellous! We ordered BBQ: beef seekh kabab, chicken tikka, fish and naan with chicken tikka roll and Biryani. Everything was exceptionally delicious!especially the Naan! Totally recommend!

I have tried Beef Behari Kebab, Chicken Biryani, Tandoori Chicken, Palak Gosht, Chicken Chilli (Gravy), Lamb Korma (Gravy) and Haleem. I have visited it more than three times now. Their gravies are not good at all except Palak and Haleem. But BBQ is worth trying for sure. In appetizers I tried fish it was not that great. Overall most of the food taste like authenticity Pakistani cusine.

Food is good and prices are reasonable but customer service is unacceptable. We placed a catering order and were told to call a week before to place it. Seems like they have no proper way of documenting orders in their system. We had to call multiple times to confirm the order. On the day of the event, we called 2.5 hours before the pickup time to confirm the order and seems like they had forgotten our order! The guy on the phone seemed confused about which order we were talking about. Very unorganized. Thankfully we did receive our order but was half hour late and fish was barely enough foe half the people. Wont place catering order again.

I found the experience both with the service and the food very satisfying. The kind staff was very patient and informative with all explanations of the food and dishes...since it was only my first time dining there. The take out section was also very fast and the meals were very generous servings. The nice touch was when the owner took time to come out from the back to greet and meet us as a first time customer. We look forward to our next experience. Great food, good prices, satisfying service! I recommend to anyone who likes this cuisine.

Today I got the worst biryani in my life and it is not prepared as per procedure. The biryani has only more masala, more chilli. not sure why they sell like this kind of food to customers ? Looks like they sold left over food to make money.

Have been here a few times and it’s great. Biryani and butter chicken is amazing and their portions are big great for sharing. I personally prefer to do take out here but dine in is great too.

Biryani was tasteless, goat bc curry was bland, meat pieces had no flavour nor the gravy had any taste. Naan was soft, the chicken curry was great- good flavour and would recommend try this one dish only. Kebabs were okay.. nothing great. Raita tasted nothing like youghurt. First time orders from them.

This place came recommended by a close friend, so we ordered some food to try and the order was not ready for pickup even though we were half hour late but we called to reassure them we were coming. Had to wait another half hour. Because the food was good and trusting my friend's recommendation we ordered $200 worth of food for a party at home. I called one day before - they wrote my name and phone number and assured me it would be ready on time. Called on day of pickup and again they said it would be ready. Arrived on time for pickup and no one had a clue of my name or my order!!! UNACCEPTABLE. After calling twice?? And then we were overcharged!! There is no way this mistake could have occurred given our order. Either staff are incompetent or they are stealing by overcharging. Because I had done the calculation in my head, I knew the total did not make sense. Then the salesperson returned the money, although at first she argued that it was correct. (Always ask for receipts!) If anything, we should have received a discount for the stress and anxiety. REALLY really disappointed with the lack of organization and care. I was trying them out for an even bigger catering order but with the unreliability I will not go back to them. It is real shame because food is actually pretty good. But reliability and trust are more important. Last minute panic does not speak to either. Disappointed.

Tasty Pakistani no frills restaurant. The restaurant is not much to look at but think flavour over fancy dining. Daily specials make the meals affordable. Usually meals are enough for 2 or 3 people to eat. Biriyani is simple looking but packed with flavour. Kabobs are spicy and moist. Naan soft and fluffy. Probably tandoori chicken is not the best. I think the owners sons run the cash and are super polite. My only reason I don’t give 5 is food takes a long time to make. I guess it’s fresh but easily wait 45-1hour. Best to order well in advance. It’s well worth trying this place out and support smaller local businesses.

My family has been visiting Usmania Grill from the past 6 years and it's been a delight every time we visit this restaurant. The service is fast and the food is delicious. The quantity of food is always generous. We have catered from Usmania Grill a number of times and our guests have been very appreciative of the food served. Five stars to Usmania Grill, our go to restaurant all the time!

I just went recently and they've reduced their portions by about 20% AND increased their prices. I understand doing one or the other, but it doesn't seem fair to do both. I won't be going here again for this reason.

Ordered a daal makhani which three people tasted and was clearly rotten. When I came back to the restaurant with the dish and the receipt, they argued with me and said it was fine to eat and refused to give me a refund. Terrible customer service. Never had this kind of experience at other south Asian restaurants before and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

A nice Indian food place. Clean. A decent amount of beef in my Nahari, compared to what I have experienced with other places. I appreciated that they saran wrapped my take out container so it did not leak. Nice was nice and included nice whole spices. Will come back and try more.

I used to order the quarter chicken daily special which came with 4-5 pieces of chicken, salad and nan for $4.99 plus dressing. Lately he has started cutting corners by reducing the chicken pieces to 3 and increasing the daily special to 5.99 and as of today I am told the nan is no longer included in daily special anymore. So I pay 5.99 for a small salad ( just salad, carrots and 2 piece of cucumber) and 3 small pieces of chicken legs or thighs. For a South Asian cuisine I feel completely ripped off. If you plan to increase the price then why remove the nan too. If I wait for regular price then I get the naan. The point is this place has become a rip off ever since Food Times on Kingston rd shut down.

We did catering from Usmania grill for 30 people and the food was absolutely amazing! The quantity of the food was also a lot! Everyone loved the food. We will definitely be ordering again!
