My manager at work has always RAVED about Chuck's Roadhouse for months, especially for their steaks! So I thought to myself, "What a perfect day to try Chuck's on Mother's Day", since I couldn't get any reservations for other restaurants. So both my mom and I went on Sunday, May 8th around 1-15pm. I was really impressed from the moment I walked in to when we left! We didn't have to wait at all to be seated, our waiter was so positive and super helpful. His name is Brandon, so if you go... you won't be disappointed with his service! The food... aww man, the FOOD! I got the steak and lobster with onion rings on the side, and my mom got the famous "Chuck's Burger" with sweet potato fries as the side. Both meals was a good size portion and the price was so affordable. Plus, the wait time for our order was probably 10 minutes at most..? So, thank you to the chefs and staff for making our 1st impression a memorable one, definitely will recommend to family and friends! P.S, this won't be the last time will go to Chuck's haha. Cheers!

Nice place to meet up with friends & family or just watch a game. Got a decent verity of food & drinks in their menu. Look out for their Happy Hours. We had a nice evening.

Went for dinner yesterday to this location. We had a group of 12 people, in which we had to wait for a table for obvious reasons. Our host was Tracey, and she was so friendly, kind and sweet, while trying to take everyone's order. Food was perfect, and all of our orders were taken correctly. Drinks were great, and the food made it worth the wait! We had visited the Chucks in Ajax, and the food wasn't great, nor was the service anywhere close to being good. This location definitely changed our minds about Chuck's, and we will definitely be going back to this location. The only thing I wished they could change would be taking reservations for larger groups, as it definitely could have cut the waiting time.

Grabbed a late lunch on the patio. There was no line to wait to be seated which was nice. We ordered our usual steak meal which comes with a side salad and corn. The steak was extremely delicious, seasoned to perfection. Salad tastes no different than any Cesar salad. The corn was a bit bland and not grilled, which was a bit disappointing as that's how it's typically cooked when ordering the dish. Overall though, we had a great experience. Customer service was great, manager sat us to our table welcoming us. Will return if in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar and Grill, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was welcoming, with a lively and energetic atmosphere. The staff at Chuck’s Roadhouse were attentive and friendly throughout my visit. They promptly seated me and took my order, ensuring that I had everything I needed. The service was efficient, and my food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Speaking of the food, I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The menu offered a wide variety of options, ranging from classic favorites to unique signature dishes. The quality of the food was excellent, with generous portions that left me feeling satisfied. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the presentation was appealing. One thing that stood out to me was the value for money. Despite the high quality of the food and service, the prices at Chuck’s Roadhouse were quite reasonable. It felt like a great deal considering the overall dining experience. The only reason I didn’t give it a full 5-star rating is that the noise level was a bit loud at times, making it slightly challenging to hold conversations. However, it didn’t significantly detract from my overall enjoyment.

Firstly, I enjoy Chucks Roadhouse. I go there when I want to get a decent steak and half price apps after 9pm and watch some sports. Great value and bang for your buck…. Usually. Tonight, I wanted to enjoy a steak after a round of golf and enjoy the all star game. Everything was normal. Good vibe, wings were good, crowd was good our servers were nice. Everything was good until the steak came. It was a bit dark, so it took a few bites to realize my ribeye steak wasn’t medium rare like I always get. My friend’s ribeye was perfect: slightly charred and a nice bright pink in the middle. Mine was not charred much at all and the middle was an even greyish-pink throughout. I asked our server to confirm if she saw what I saw. To my disappointment she didnt really seem to see the difference. She awkwardly checked to see what she punched in for the order but didn’t say much after checking. To be honest I started to feel bad that my order was cooked incorrectly. I’m not sure if servers get in trouble for incorrect orders but it almost seemed like she didn’t want to correct my order. Or even worse, I wondered if Chucks Roadhouse doesn’t train their servers to immediately correct any incorrect meals for fear of having to write off and “waste” a steak from their inventory. Most decent restaurants usually have a policy if your order is incorrect in any way they will fix it no questions asked. I didn’t feel like trying to push our server to want to correct the mistake and offer a new steak any longer and she promptly walked away once I said never mind forget about it. Needless to say I was disappointed through the remainder of my meal and we left before the all star game was over. She was a nice server, still left a tip but was left feeling like Chuck’s Roadhouse should implement a policy that if your meal is incorrect in any way they will replace it no problem. I had to give a rare 1-star for this visit. UPDATE: I have been contacted by the Chuck’s Roadhouse customer service office and they asked for information to investigate. They promptly rectified the situation and reassured me this would not happen again.

Looking for some traditional bar food at an affordable price? Then you should definitely give Chuck's Roadhouse a try. This restaurant is located in a small strip mall full of restaurants along Kingston Rd in Pickering. The menu is pretty extensive and some great value options available. Main attractions here are their drink specials, half price appetizers after 9pm, $15 full rack of ribs on Wednesdays, $10 Domestic pitchers on Thursdays. Their steaks are the best value around. Where can you get a AAA 7 oz top sirloin steak for $13? Looking for surf n turf? No problem how about 7 oz Top sirloin and lobster tail for $25? Holy smokes what a deal! Enough of the deals you will see on the pics I posted. We came here for the half price apps after 9pm. We ordered the $6 Corona tall boy cans and the following appetizers: 1. Loaded cheese fries - crispy fries with mixed cheeses, green onions, bacon, ranch sauce and sour cream. $10.99 reg. $5.49 after 9pm. 2. Just Wings lightly dusted, deep fried and tossed in your choice of sauce bbq, medium , hot or honey garlic. 1lb $13.99 reg. $6.99 after 9pm. 3. Buffalo chicken quesadilla - breaded buffalo chicken, mixed cheeses, tomatoes and green onions in a grilled flour tortilla. Served with salsa and sour cream. $13.99 reg. $6.99 after 9pm. The portions were generous for the price you are paying. The fries were well dressed, would have like real bacon pieces instead of bacon bits but overall great app! The wings were kind of small and medium sauce lacked the kick. They were crispy even and cooked just right. The buffalo chicken quesadilla was surprisingly good. Lots of breaded chicken tomato and cheese. This is not your authentic Mexican quesadilla but for bar food very acceptable and great finger food. Overall great experience here. Great value especially after 9pm if you're looking for some late night snacks and a beer. Our bill came up to $36 before tip. This includes a 3% honest surcharge for the food you order. Food is decent overall, for an affordable price. But not as flavorful as I would have expected. I had the lobster tail, sirloin, ribs and quarter chicken. They also add a 3% 'honest to goodness' fee which I can't figure out what it's for. Does that mean we can deduct 3% from tips? The server for my table didn't smile, and seemed a bit awkard/shy.

It's a great place for gathering with friends and family. My kids love going there. Better call in advance to reserve a table in order to avoid waiting. There are few vegetarian options. I posted a link to the menu. The porterhouse steak is very recommended and was made to meet the desired level. There are tv screens for sports events. And there is free parking.

I came here for a few drinks and ordered the Cool Blue “Blueberry Twist Vodka, Blue Curacao and Sprite” and it was soooo good. The blueberry flavour is definitely the star of the show over the blue curacao which lends more citrus notes. Can’t go wrong at $5.99 and an extra $2.50 will get you another oz of alcohol. It comes straight up but is still chilled enough to be satisfying without condensation on the outer glass. It has slight effervescence from the sprite but it’s mostly still. The way I am going on about this drink seems unnecessary but trust me, if you like sweet cocktails and need help deciding on one here….do it up! I just had to take an artistic photo. Lagoon Vibes. Beer was cheap.. $4 domestic pints before 5pm 👍🏼

I was there with my friends for a gathering, it was nice ambience and we started ordering from the menu, whatever we ordered there is no stock. Look at the beer glass we got! The 2* s for the waitress who served us (she is pretty new to the job) and the manager! I won't recommend this place at all.

We had an amazing experience at Chuck’s Pickering. Everything was on point, the service, food and the atmosphere. We ordered Bruschetta, Buffalo chicken sandwich, Spinach and Goat Cheese Dip and a couple of drinks and it was superb, and the price range was pretty inexpensive. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.

This place is super affordable-especially with their 1/2 priced appetizers after 9pm and it's a great place for hanging out with friends or family. We enjoyed everything we ordered both times I've been here, however, the service is pretty bad. I would not recommend going here with people if you don't want to spend more than an hour just talking with them. The first time I went, our server was pretty good. She came and checked on us a couple of times. The wait time was long for the food (maybe like 40ish mins) but she still checked in, asked if we wanted any drinks, etc. Unfortunately, they got 2 of my friend's sides switched on their plates despite the long wait (but this was not our server's fault and was evidently the person that brought it out to us. She noticed immediately and had the guy send it back to be fixed). My side order was also wrong, I ordered mashed potatoes but got fries instead but at this point I was already hungry and honestly, the fries looked good to, so I didn't mind the error and enjoyed it anyways, especially cause I knew she would fix it immediately if I had let her known. 4/5 overall. The second time was like a 1.5/5. Food was still great for the price and tasted good. The wait time was the ridiculous part & the server was very negligent. She visited our table 2 times in almost 3 hours and we had to flag down another server to even get some water. We were there for roughly 3 hours and a solid 2 of those hours was us waiting on food. We were missing 1 appetizer we ordered, and when she finally came around to our table (to ask if we wanted a takeout container for the food we did get? Not even to ask if everything was okay?) We let her know and she then asked us what we were waiting for and when I told her, we can tell immediately she remembered we ordered it but forgot to put the order in. No apology either. Had to wait another 20 mins for that appetizer and even longer for the bill despite us asking for it when she came by the second time.

Absolutely Amazing! Wow! Great prices with great services. I suggest getting the surf and turf! Went for dinner to celebrate friend's bday. Their bread pudding dessert was great too.

The staff was friendly, courteous, attractive, and pleasant. The dining room was busy, loud, and full of life. Our waitress was attentive, and punctual. She heard our requests, and brought out to us what we had ordered. {We spoke our order once, didn't have to repeat anything, and the crowd was loud. I was impressed. And we made a few specifications that were not ordinary.} The food was OK. It is the strangers, and company who make Chuck's a place to enjoy. The service staff look good, and behave friendly. {The menu prices are affordable, so that an *excessive* tip is justifiable.}

Great price for the food and alcoholic drinks and for what you get, would say it was worth it even with the 3% addition. The server Aman was also great to our party of 9, everyone was happy with him and we def saw him trying his best to meet our requests and answer questions. I got the porterhouse steak and was pretty good, needed to have it cooked further though because it came out more rare than medium rare - no biggie, when it came back was between medium and medium rare and tasted good. Wife got the chicken club sandwich and she enjoyed it, no complaints, bacon was crispy and chicken wasn't dry. Nacho appetizer was also tasty and large portion - was half price after 9pm (great value). We'll come back for sure, mainly because prices were great and no complaints on the food. Even though there was the 3% addition, the percentage is quite minimal but agree with others that they should just have that added 3% built into the menu, so it's not as misleading or having people find out when they pay the bill.

This place offer you good value for your money. Stark and lobster $25 porterhouse my favorite 20oz $25 and there drinks are so cheap. After 9 half price appetizer which I haven't gone for yet. But will eventually try. Please keep in mind it's no fancy restaurant. But the good is good . The only thing I wish they would give you more options for steak.

What a difference a different location makes. Its probably been close to two years since we've been back to Chuck's because of the poor experience we had at the Ajax location on Kingston Road. Decided to give them a try again after a friend told and showed pictures of their lobster and steak dinners the day before. Not disappointed this time around. The food and service was on point even during these trying times.

The food is great. I had steak once, and I always ask for blue rare, and it usually comes out medium rare, but they listened, and it was delicious! In terms of service, the three/four times I've been here, the wait staff is always pleasant, patient, and helpful. The atmosphere, to be honest, can be quite loud at times, but what do you expect? They have sports playing, and people are gonna get loud. If you're into fruity and lighter type drinks, try the 'Cactus Fruit Sangria'. I think they also have Rikkards beer, which I was told is really good. This place is on the cheaper side but of course it matters what you get.

It was a great experience dining in at Chuck's. The ambience and services were on point. We ordered flatbread bruschetta, spinach and goat cheese dip, nachos and sweet potato fries. We also had some amazing drinks - Cool Blue, Sangria and Chucks buck No.99. Highly recommended.

If I could leave a less than 1 star that’s what it would be. I was absolutely disgusted by the service that my Family and I experienced. It was a Birthday celebration, with what would have been our Very 1st time at this restaurant. I called ahead to make a reservetion and I was told it was a first come first serve basis. When we reached the restaurant I saw a bunch of tables with reserve seats. Then other patrons were coming through that did not have reservations and those people were getting seated. Parties of 2/3/5 etc… were all being seated after we were told it was going to be at least 30 to 40 min wait. We agreed and we left our name and number and I said we would wait outside. We watched other families going in and not coming back out as they were not turned away. My husband had gone in several times to check on the status and he kept getting told at least another 30 min. Etc….why could you not just put a few tables together to accommodate 11 people? It’s not rocket science and this establishment wasted our time by making us wait and I never did receive a call saying that a table was ready for us. So if you are looking for a night out … DO NOT go to chucks roadhouse in Pickering. Clearly they do not care. They definitely need new hostess staff. The gentlemen that was working on January 27/24 at 6pm does not keep his word if you’re waiting for him to let you know when you’re table is ready. Absolutely disgusting customer service. We never do get to eat . After wasting over an hour we had to leave and find another restaurant that could accommodate. Needless to say a lot of our guests were quite annoyed as we drove an hour to get to that restaurant. Less than poor customer service for Chucks Roadhouse at 870 Kingston Road in Pickering

Came to sit on the patio at 3pm. Should be a slow time to get a bite to eat. Took 45 minutes to get food. Waitress was fine. No issues. Ordered a chicken caesar and sweet potatoes fries. They were fine. But also ordered steak bites. Apparently done in the deep fryer. Burnt to a crisp. Why not pan fry? What a waste. For that price point, why not do it right? Dry like leather steak bites. Wanna sell more? Spend five minutes pan frying it. Pure laziness. Wouldn't eat here again.

Awesome place for a burger and a beer. Price is fair and it's overall a great place. Fries are probably from frozen and definitely not their forte. Update March 4, 2023 Brought my family here for dinner and although the place was pretty full the service was unacceptable. 40 min+ for the food to arrive after waiting to be seated. They forgot to offer drinks and then messed up the order (since the server doesn't write anything down). Burgers were good, they always are. I like the place and the vibe, I'll continue coming but just not with a hungry family that can't wait an hour for dinner. I don't blame the servers since they were obviously worked off their feet. I just can't understand why they (floor manager?) keeps seating people and moving tables to accommodate more people when they know that they don't have the staffing infrastructure to serve the seated guest. There was a large party seated close to us that were experiencing this very same issue. We spoke briefly and they were too happy. Overall, I like that place and just hope that they iron out their staffing issues.

To be honest I would not give them even one star. We suppose to celebrate my son's birthday last Friday so I called them on Thursday evening to make a reservation for 11 people. I spoke with a male person over the phone and I made reservations for 6:30pm for Friday. So on Friday when our group of 11 people showed up at the restaurant the place was fully packed. I talked to the girls on the front and I told them that we have reservation for 6:30pm for 11 people. She checked and she said that there is no reservation. I showed her on my phone that I called there number previous night. She didn't know what to do. We asked her if we can spoke with the manager. But unfortunately he was not a big help. They had no clue what to do. They told us to wait for another 1 to 1 and a half hour for a table. Or they can split us on 2 different tables but we didn't accept since it was a birthday celebration. While we were waiting in their small entrance, another group of 10 people came and they said that they made reservation too previous day. So, of course no table for them too. Whoever is running this place needs some good management training.... how to deal with people first. POOR POOR management. Do not go there, don't waste your time. We used to come here very often before Covid, but it looks like a different story now. Completely different people working and managing this place now. I was lucky to make reservation in Milestones so our night doesn't ended so bad. But I will never ever go to Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill at Pickering location. So it is 0 stars Don't go there
