A great Burger Joint! Carmen served me today and she was awesome! Very helpful and patient with me, she even went above and beyond to layer my poutine. She was working solo today but, I can assure you she most definitely held the fort down and handled it very well. As for the burgers they were nice, smokey and a nice portion as well. I got the classic 6 oz and the 8 oz as they were the most popular according to Carmen and they did not disappoint. Unfortunately, the Poutine was below mediocre and I would not be getting it again. The burger itself and the service was a 10/10 with plenty of seating to dine in as well. The additional charges for their Homemade Spicy Diablo Sauce, Cheese, and Bacon definitely rose up the bill fast so keep in mind when ordering these additions. I will come back again if I'm in the area, but will keep it simple with a classic burger only without the additionals. Thank you Carmen for a great experience!

I stopped in for lunch one day on a slow afternoon. Service was excellent. I tried one of their 8 oz cheeseburgers and fries. I have to say the burgers are excellent and the 8 oz is a big burger! The fries unfortunately are not great. Looking forward to going back to try their house made marinated souvlaki!

We never dine in, but we came to kips to sit down today! Impeccable service from the whole staff. I ordered a 8 ox cheese burger with frings and my partner ordered 8oz bacon cheese with rings. Onion rings crispy, fries fresh, and burgers juicy. Worth every cent!

What a gem we have here in Durham! The food was absolutely incredible and the service was fantastic. They made me feel like a truly valued customer. I will definitely be back and I will be sure to tell my friends and family to visit! What an amazing experience. 10/10

First time here as we were passing through. Amazing service from the staff. The owner was super lovely and explained her menu honestly, which we appreciated. Their 6oz homemade burger is nicely seasoned, with smoky flavour as it's done over an open flame. Toppings are generous. Each bite you get a great mix of meat and toppings. Everything done to order.

I was very excited to come across Kips Homemade Burgers, as my son’s name is Kip! The grill was smoking, the staff were busy launching out orders, the dining area was clean and organized. I ordered the homemade 8oz burger with the works. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with the burger as it was definitely overcooked and in general…. not great? It came to over $20 for just a burger and a small can of beer. Other than that I enjoyed my experience, and the owner was very friendly! Thank for you lunch!

My husband and I just left Kips and we had an amazing experience. I think it was the owner who we spoke to and he was SO kind. The food was cooked to perfection, truly the best burger we’ve ever had. Kips is a must try!

It's my first time eating here and ordered a 6 oz homemade burger and it's okay a little bit dry but the service is great. I will try the 8 oz next time.

Cheeseburger, fries with gravy were all excellent. I decided to eat in and was served at my table which was really nice. The owner was so nice and helpful. Restaurant has been upgraded since the last time i was there, and it is very inviting. Highly recommended.

Firstly, the owner was so sweet and welcoming. Very much mom vibes which is so nice to have at a small buisness. She helped us look at the ingredients to check for any dairy and voluntarily made sure to use different tools to avoid cross contamination. Really felt confident in the food safety. Burger was delicious, nice flavour, juicy and good toppings. I don’t think I’ve had a better burger. Fries were the crisp/well done type which is not my preference so I didn’t love the fries but they were nice and hot/fresh. My husband likes crisp fries so he liked them more than me, just needed more salt.

This was my first time at KIPS , and meeting Carmen was a pleasure. I had the homemade 6oz burger and it was DELICIOUS!! When I’m in the area again I WILL be returning for another great burger experience!!! ** So to all reading this review take it from one of the pickiest burger eaters KIPS ROCKS!!! 🍔

Decent burger place with a good sized menu of food. Smaller burger joint with a good amount of parking outside. I still stop by to grab a burger every now and than been eating here for years.

Best burger spot in the Durham area. Burgers are homemade patties and taste amazing. Today I changed it up and had a sausage on a bun….yummy. Owner is very friendly. Restaurant is really clean.

When it comes to writing a review for a place, I am the laziest man alive. However, I had to write it for this burger place. Best burger I’ve had in Canada after living here for 14 years. The owner is a nice lady and I had a pleasant conversation with her. I hope her business grows more and more and she deserves it.

Amazing food. Got a 8oz burger with cheese and bacon with the works for toppings and couldn't put it down. The frings were delicious. Carman was a great help and very lovely to deal with. I'll definitely have it again while I'm here

Best burgers in Durham Region!! I’ve said this to many people and those that have had the pleasure to try their burgers already, agree with it. Anyone that tries it based on the recommendation come back to say how much they enjoyed it. The woman at the counter could not be ANY nicer. She brings that old school customer service that is so sorely missing in far too many service industries. A real gem of a place that needs to be supported. Keep doing what you’re doing please. :)

Outstanding service! Owner was so welcoming and helpful. The food is fresh and delicious and the place is very clean. We’ve taken burgers to go from here in the past but enjoyed dining in this time. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon! Me and my son had a 4 oz cheeseburger and my husband had a 6 oz cheeseburger. We split the frings among the three of us. The burgers and frings were perfect! We also had the strawberry milkshake and lemonade.

Decent burger but far too expensive. Cheese and bacon are not included which would be fine if the burger itself was priced reasonably. Only thing that could save this review would be their homemade hot sauce, but they charge extra for that too🙄. If I was from the area I certainly wouldn't go back.

Very warm and welcoming staff. The 8 Oz burger was amazing, the chicken souvlaki equally as delicious. The poutine, despite not using curds, the fries and gravy were spot on. Definitely recommend.

Stopped in for a burger today. Had a great time with the staff and the burger and onion rings were great to boot. Don't know why anyone would go to the McDonalds up the road when you can get a 6oz burger combo, the way you want it (including hot peppers and hot sauce), for the same price as a big mac combo. 100% recommend. Tell your friends.

First Visit to Kips Flaming Burger in Pickering. Busy little spot. Seemed like regular customers. Ordered the 6oz home burger. 7.99 with no cheese or bacon. Tasty burger. Homemade. Nicely seasoned. Toppings fresh. 23 bucks with 2 small delicious Cokes. Overall 3.8 rating. Pricey for two burgers and 2 cokes. It's a burger. Nothing out of the ordinary.
