Dita from NYF ptc was amazing!! Coming from a manager of customer experience, her customer service is outstanding. Very personable and the recommendation of her special poutine was simply delicious.. Cajun sour cream green onion and butter chicken .. DELICIOUS! Give her a raise n promotion pronto! ☺️

The ladies at this place ARE SO NICE and the food was FRESH and Awesome! I can't say enough about how awesome the fries and cheese dipping sauce. This was quite a treat while being in the mall!

I am a regular member of New York Fries at Pickering Town Centre and I really love this place! It's easily the best place in Ontario to get both fries and a poutine. The gravy that they use taste really amazing; even after they changed the recipe I still enjoyed it a lot. The staff is super friendly and I enjoy going there a lot. I also love that the food is cooked to order. Definitely recommend for people who haven't had a poutine before or just really want a nice hot crispy serving of fries.

The service I got recently was really good. The people behind the counter were friendlier than usual. Unfortunately they did get part of order wrong, I got mayo instead of sour cream which threw off my whole meal. It is in the food court at the mall so the atmosphere is as good as it’s gonna get. All I can say is that it’s New York Fries, you know what your getting

Tried the fries for the first time, employees were good and hospitable, employee named mansi helped me to go through the menu and ordering process. Food was freshly prepared too. Would recommend!!

This establishment is wonderful! The atmosphere is nice and the workers are absolutely amazing. Maria and Carla helped me out with my VERY specific order, and they did it happily. I had a very pleasant time during my time here. Will definitely come again and look out for these two lovely women!

I met Priya here at the mall and she helped me choose the right item for me. I wasn't really Shure what to choose, she guided me what includes which item. Amazing service and such a sweet girl!

Came here at 3 pm for lunch today. I was hoping to get a good meal. I wanted to know about the deals. I asked “Is there a combo deal for fries and and hotdog”. I meant a discounted price. Cashier didn’t understand because she wasn’t even staring me in the eye because she was talking to her friend in another language and they were conversating about something completely different. While I understand it’s harmless to have fun at work while you’re not busy and once the customer has placed their order but talking while a customer is trying to order and not taking them seriously is not only rude but unacceptable. It is a big deal because some people come to the food court to enjoy. I noticed they left my fork at the bottom of the bag which was ok but I wasn’t able to find it as it was all the way at the bottom under the tissue paper. I went back and told them the fork was missing which was my mistake but I was so annoyed of how bad my veggie fries tasted and how sloppy the presentation was, I told them they were so distracted they forgot my fork (later realizing they didn’t), but it didn’t matter cause they were distracted and also showing an attitude. Very poor customer service. I also threw out my fries cause there was barely any cheese and sour cream. I don’t think I’ll be returning too often unless the owner wants to compensate me for my meal. I don’t wish for them to lose their job but cmon! Have some respect and customer service skills of you’ll be out of a job when this place shuts down. Considering I paid $16 for just a hotdog and some sloppy fries, at least wait to conversate after I’ve placed my order. The girl at cash was so unorganized and inefficient in her work. I asked her for toppings that were included and free that I can put on and she said “ITS RIGHT THERE”. I hope the owner views this and gives them a lesson on professionalism and organization.

The manager, Cristina was very attentive to us. The place was welcoming and the good food was served fast and neat! Will definitely come back.

I have to say that this NYF was exceptionally clean, the customer service was great and the portion size, and taste was very good. A pleasant surprise for a fast food restaurant. Keep up the good work!

Went here Feb 28 3:15pm. Myself and my wife are now both having a terrible and identical reaction that started about three hours later. We made mention to each other at the time how the fries were a bit slimy underneath all the chicken, curry, etc as we had the loaded versions. Still tasted good though, so we made no official complaint to the staff. Without all the toppings I’m sure we wouldn’t have eaten as much or any and wouldn’t feel this bad now. Please don’t mask old or contaminated fries under toppings. We are pretty young and I’m sure will be fine in a day or two but this kind of negligence or cost cutting could put somebody in the hospital. Our son had fries that weren’t loaded and we commented at the time how fresh they were in comparison to ours. He’s totally fine thank god. We will never go to this location again, and I will be scared to order anything from NYF after this honestly.

Love the veggie, but classic is the best. Staff is okay.... the lady who works there, who often has her baby daddy & daughter stopping by, you need to be a bit more friendly. They take your order, serve you and say thank you, all without bothering to look up.

Nice place for food and potato fries 🍟. It's traditionally cooked potato and not like the ones we get , salsa with fries awesome. They have lot of varieties so try out new ones every time

I tried their new hot dogs. It was ok..I actually had to go back to the counter because they forgot an ingredient. That's what made it so bland. It's not worth the price tag. Street hot dogs are way tastier. Stick with their fries. They are good!!!

This is the second time I've order with them where they have given me the wrong order. This time was even worse than the last because they put toppings on my poutine I wouldn't even eat. I ordered through Skip The Dishes and my order came sealed with my exact order written on the receipt. I ordered a bacon double cheese with no onions (so cheese sauce, bacon, and cheese curds) and instead they have me a poutine with gravy, sour cream, and tomatoes.. no bacon or cheese curds. I hate tomatoes and I would never eat sour cream mixed with gravy that's so nasty. Will not be ordering from this location again.

The best and fresh fries each day is one of the most amazing thing about this place. And on top of that the staff is also really nice… They take care of your order precisely. So i would definitely come here again.

When I was ordering my food, the cashier was incredibly nice and recommended me the Bacon Double Cheese Poutine which tasted great. They packaged it perfectly to go, and were nice throughout the entire order

Came here for first time, I'M visiting canada and family and friends recommended the best poutine in town. Really love it, the kids treat everyone with respect, fast service, clean environment delicious food.

It's been a long time since I've been to the food court at Pickering Town Centre and an even longer time since I've eaten at any New York Fries. Their menu has expanded a lot since the last time. I had the Chili Fries, a Cheese Dog, and a Coke. Everything was good, even better than I remembered. I'll be back!

I like this place a lot, it's my go to place for fries. But I gave it three stars for two reasons. One star off because of how insanely expensive it is. The other reason I took off a star is because of the staff specifically at the Pickering location. I don't know anyone's names but I do go here often. Usually the staff is quite friendly, and prior to recently I only had one bad interaction. But there is a newer girl who works there who looked at me the other day and said "Why are you always here? You're here so often". Like??? It was so rude. I didn't even say anything back because I didn't know what to say.. and the look on her face was like she was wondering why I always buy from them... I think it's great when staff great regular customers in a friendly way but that was NOT friendly. I felt embarrassed. Like I don't even wanna go back there anymore. I need to find a new location to frequent. Also that same girl is always asking for help. She either takes too much money from me and doesn't give me my change, or after I order she'll just stare at the computer in silence and then walk away and ask someone else to help me. I honestly try not avoid going there if I see she is working. To end on a somewhat high note, the fries are good but very pricey. I will continue buying though because I have poor spending habits. Also the one white girl who works there is amazing. I hope she's there every single time I want to order. 10/10 to her.
