It
was
late
afternoon
and
my
wife
and
I
were
looking
for
a
new
restaurant
to
try
locally.
Let's
support
our
small
local
businesses!
I
did
a
little
bit
of
research
and
came
across
this
restaurant
on
Google.
We
were
very
hungry
so
we
ordered
four
dishes.
1.
Pepper
shrimp
chow
mein
2.
Curry
goat
with
roti
3.
Alex
chicken
with
steam
rice
4.
Spicy
garlic
calamari
The
restaurant
was
not
busy
just
a
bunch
of
older
guys
drinking
at
the
bar.
They
have
a
mix
and
match
5
bottle
beer
bucket
for
$19.99.
This
includes
Heineken,
Corona,
Coors
light,
Budweiser,
Molson
Canadian.
We
noticed
their
special
was
$5.99
calamari
with
choice
of
spicy
garlic,
black
bean
or
hot
spicy
sauce.
Great
deal!!!
The
food
came
out
altogether
which
was
nice.
Food
was
hot
and
spicy.
Good
thing
we
had
a
pitcher
of
water
to
wash
all
it
down!
The
pepper
shrimp
chow
mein
had
lots
of
crispy
shrimps
on
top
of
chow
mein
noodles
(Hakka
style
noodles).
The
shrimps
were
spicy
but
not
over
the
top.
I
would
have
liked
more
noodles
underneath.
It
seems
like
the
portion
is
smaller
compared
to
other
chowmein
dishes.
Curry
goat
had
lots
of
meaty
pieces
of
goat
which
fall
off
the
bone.
The
spice
level
was
milder.
The
roti
had
plenty
of
lentils
and
was
great
for
dipping
in
the
curry.
Wife
enjoyed
it
Alex
chicken
was
a
chef's
specialty
named
after
the
owner.
There
were
long
pieces
of
chicken
thigh
meat
coated
with
a
spicy
sauce
and
mixed
with
onions,
green
and
red
chilies.
This
is
similar
to
dry
chili
chicken
but
with
a
unique
taste.
Last
dish
we
had
was
spicy
garlic
calamari.
This
was
a
big
surprise
as
the
dish
was
full
of
cripsy
pieces
of
calamari
stir
fried
with
spicy
garlic
sauce.
This
house
special
at
$5.99
was
amazing
and
we
will
definitely
order
it
again.
We
will
probably
come
back
and
try
some
other
items
on
the
menu
like
their
sizzling
plates
and
chef
specialty.
Update
review...
I
came
here
for
takeout.
The
restaurant
was
almost
full
of
patrons.
You
can
smell
the
aroma
from
the
kitchen.
I
ordered
the
dinner
special
for
one
now
costs
$11.95
with
a
free
pop.
The
box
was
loaded
to
the
top
with
Alex
chicken
and
egg
fried
rice.
Taste
on
point
as
usual.
We
also
got
the
goat
curry
with
lots
of
meat
and
less
bones.
The
curry
sauce
had
the
right
amount
of
spice
and
was
great
for
dipping
my
roti.
Excellent
food
and
glad
their
business
has
picked
up
more.
They
still
have
the
$6.99
calamari
special.
I
will
grab
that
next
time.
Update
Nov
2023.
For
the
most
recent
visit,
we
came
here
for
lunch.
We
ordered
the
lobsters
2
for
$34.95
cooked
in
ginger
and
green
onion,
sizzling
beef
short
ribs
$17.25
in
black
pepper
sauce,
beef
lo
mein
$13.50,
and
spicy
garlic
calamari
$7.25.
The
total
bill
came
up
to
$82.43
The
food
was
definitely
worth
it.
The
lobster
came
out
hot
and
fresh.
The
beef
short
ribs
were
served
on
a
sizzling
plate.
The
beef
lo
mein
was
really
good
but
a
little
bit
greasy.
The
same
server
is
working
both
the
takeout
and
dine
in
customers.
She's
really
nice
and
checks
up
on
us
regularly.
There's
a
few
large
big
screen
tvs
showing
live
sports
at
the
time.
So
if
you're
looking
to
enjoy
NFL
sunday
then
the
owner
will
change
the
channel
to
the
live
game
for
you.
The
dining
area
is
clean
and
spacious.
We
really
enjoyed
the
food
and
recommend
you
come
and
try
the
lobster
and
beef
short
ribs
while
dining
in.
Thank
you
again
Caribbean
for
a
delicious
weekend
meal.
