Just left this store after watching a older white cashier racially profile a black elderly mother and daughter. The two were trying to cash out letting the cashier know what they were buying (had the correct tags to go along with the bags) the cashier told them she was watching them while they were shopping and she “knows” it was the protein powder not the coconut flour???? Why are you watching the only 2 black customers in the store while I, a white customer can shop with no one around?? Disgusting behaviour. Cashier needs to lose her job. Her customer service skills were horrendous. The two left the store without purchasing after this encounter. Disgusting. Will not be going to this location again. Hire new staff. And to that cashier. Shame on you, do better. To the mother and daughter I am sorry.

A very good Bulk Barn . Well stocked and clean, nice to see this location stocks my favourite licorice . Good sized location and OK parking.

An error was made in the price on a product and I returned to the store to get a refund. The “manager” did the refund as I moved away from the counter she loudly exclaimed “well you are welcome”. Not sorry for the inconvenience. Not thank you for shopping her. I should just thank her. Poor customer service

Customer service in this store is awful! This horrible lady name Tania told me I must leave the store because my child whom I was carrying in my arms had outdoor mittens on and that I must place him in a cart or leave “her “store which I’m sure she doesn’t own. She also refused to scoop my one item when I asked if she can please do it so I won’t have to touch anything even though I sanitized my hands. Never going back to this location as they discriminate against children and mothers meanwhile allow adults to shop with the masks half way down their faces. I hope no one else experiences what this awful lady did to us yesterday. She had no decency and didn’t think twice before yelling at the top of her lungs at a mother with a child in her arms.

Tania has lack of customer service that's enough to close down the store 😂! I wish i could say this in a better way but she is an old grumpy who's ready to fight with customers instead of helping them. Congratulations bulk barn for picking the worst employee.

Amazing place to get dry goods! Equally as good staff! I had a question, the staff went above and beyond to answer my question. Great place to buy Pinata's.

I normally enjoy going to the bulk barn however today was an exception. I arrived at about 9:30 a.m. The Saturday manager on Dec 3/22 was in the spice/herb aisle with a vacuum type machine that was 4 ft high and at least4ft wide. The machine stayed rooted to the centre of the aisle and also in front of at least7 -8 spices that we couldn't even see, without having to get in her way. I did say to her, 'It's a funny time to do this isn't it. You would think it would be done maybe at 8:30 a.m before people begin to come in. "Speak to my boss, this is when I am supposed to do it". I told her I am not directing this at you, it just seem very very odd time with the inconvenience to the customer and the noise factor. There were several us in the aisle. It was difficult to get by with my cart. She then told me "it's nothing to do with me, I'm just doing my job'. She then also proceeded to tell me that it would have been nice if I had told her I BROKE of the bin tops. I 100% did not break anything at all. I was lifting and taking minium of spices out of several bins. To accuse me of breaking a bin is crazy. I have seen so many bins that don't close properly. I don't assume it was the last person that used that one. She left the aisle taking her machine with her but then continued (Loudly) to talk about me to another customer. I called on her it. I said "Don't be discussing me with anybody". You should be doing your job and treating the customers with respect. You shouldn't be retail if you are going to speak about another customer to a different customer. In addition, they probably don't want to listen to you. If you see there are several people in the herb aisle then you need to leave temporarily so that we as customers also don't have to listen to that huge vacuum noise coming out of the machine. As I was up paying at the cash I was quietly asking the young lady who the manager was and she told me she would be in on Monday. The older rude person (blondish and older) was listening to our conversation. Then she started speaking about calling on Monday, etc etc.That they certainly were not going to give me their personal numbers. I 100% didn't ask for the owners/managers personal numbers. When I came outside there was a woman that had waited for me and she told me that she had gone though some terrible rudeness dished out again by this same Saturday manager and that she left a review on goggle, which prompted me to do the same. In all my years going to this bulk barn I have only met the very very nicest people. This review is definitely not about the store! I love the store!

A nice selection of goods. You can get spices, snacks, grains and baking supplies. And speciality items like bee pollen. They also carry lots of sweet treats for birthday, movie night in, sleep over worthy snacks. The people are very helpful. You can bring clean (washed) reusable containers for filling. Get the container weighed first before filling at the cashier.

So my parents make this homemade granola that I eat everytime I visit home a few times a year. I got the recipe and headed to Bulk Barn for my first time ever. This place is ridiculous! In all the good ways. I toured for a bit like a tourist and was in awe of the selection of stuff one doesn't think of, but probably wants at home. My Mom warned me that the ingredients, being seeds, nuts, and dried fruit is expensive, so I was careful but excited and grabbed every ingredient. I didn't know I had to write down each product number on my twist tie but it made no difference because the cashier knows their products well. I even found dog treats ! A huge Assortment. Plus I picked up an air tight cereal container! Amazing place. Spent 40 bucks in total but for a huge amount of stuff.

First time at this location, tend to favour the Ajax one but I'll definitely be back. Excellent service, the cashiers know their stock very well, store is clean and organized.

Was in to pick up some baking ingredients yesterday, spoke with Tanya who was extremely helpful and provided excellent customer service. I have dealt with her a few times now and she always seems on point and professional hence the review! We must take time to share positive experiences as much as negative IMO. Thanks Tanya for you help again and keep up the great work you do for this location!

First time visiting this location. Place looked clean and well stocked. Found the candies I was looking for. Cashier was friendly and efficient.

I was in there this morning and had travelled from oshawa, while I was waiting in line I had noticed one of your employees helping another customer who couldnt speak very good english,she was very patient and helpful and respectful towards this elderly customer,and you dont see much of that now a days,as I was getting be next in line I had noticed her name tag and her name was tanya,very kind lady, absolutely great experience there all because of her kindness she repeatedly shown throught my visit, also would like to point out how clean and up kept the establishment is,most bulk barns have candy all over the floor and in other bins. Very pleased. Will be back.

Just like everywhere prices going up. Bit surprised had to be cream of tartar in container and not in bulk. But at least they had it!
