Do not recommend it. I visited here with my family to grab some chaat, when we arrived the store was empty and the music was blasting as if I'm walking into some party room. The clueless guy taking our order fully well knew we were almost yelling to place an order and didn't have the decency to turn the music down. I had to ask him to turn the volume down. He did at that moment. After the song was finished and we got our order, he had the audacity to turn it right back up, preventing us from even having a discussion at how loud the music was. Refer to the video I posted. I spent close to $100 here and will never return. I asked them again to turn it down, and he did, but then again decided to turn it back up after a song. I'm unsure how this place is functioning with such incompetent staff. You literally have to raise your voice just to have a normal convo. Now for the food, terrible. Chaat is wattery with very little channa. It seemed like I was drinking soup. The ghol gapai, as u can see from the pictures, aren't even full. And the falooda was terrible. Stay away from this place. I will never come back, and everyone I know won't either.

Great service and great food. The spice level is there. The pani puri and mango lassi were delicious. I like how their open late too. However, the music is a bit too loud making it not a great spot for a dine in date, but good for takeaway though.

A decent experience over all but two stars deducted. 1. When youre at Royal Paan on a weekend you expect to get fresh Paan . They only had sweet pan and it came from a fridge and was at least 2 days old. Soggy and dripping with sauces. And they had nobody there who could make a Fresh Paan either. Not what you'd expect. 2. We ordered doses. Its great that they have them but one of the doses came out totally uncooked and chewy and the other one was done properly. Seems like they don't have skilled staff to prepare the stuff on the menu. The good: 1. The menu is extensive.. as long as they have the people to make the stuff thats on the menu. 2. The place is large and clean. 3. The service was friendly and courteous. 4. The washroom was clean as well. Will I go back ? Yes.. but without high expectations.

Highly risk to your health don’t eat rajama and chana here you can’t imagine the cooking oil amount in just a bowl of rajma and rice

Amazing experience. Ordered kachori puri, paapri chaat. Scrumptious and up to the mark. Mango milkshake was not as expected but chocolate milkshake was good in taste.

No masks being used by any of the staff in the kitchen. Inspite of requesting twice, the cook refused to wear the mask. Covid is still there and they have to be a bit more careful while serving people. I had ordered a takeout 45 minutes ahead of arrival but my order was not ready and was asked to wait for another 20 minutes. These people don’t seem to value customer’s time and don’t care about hygiene in today’s world. They were not sorry at all and made me feel that they didn’t care about my business.

Not traditional style. Pani puri - 1 star It doesn't taste like traditional one. I have tried it at royal paan Scarborough location which is more accurate flavor 🤔 Water was bland mint water with no flavor. Sauce was barely enough. Only 8 Puri were given (other location gives 10) It's possible this recipe is from another culture in India 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I have had it at a few different vendors and certainly this was totally different. 😯 Dehli chaat papri -2 star Compared to other Scarborough locations its much smaller quantity, taste was just ok. Again. Probably another culture. But I never had chaat papri like this. 😬

I don't know why these people can never give respect to their customers. I have been working in customer service from five years never treated people like how they treat. We wanted to dine in and he was so rude and said its closed. When we were ordering he asked three times just drinks right so that we don't order food. Whenever i come here i except they might gonna change and treat people better but never happens. I hope they learn good customer service specially the guy who served us.

Good place to visit if you are looking for a quick and finger licking Indian snacks. All the items are given in a disposable package which makes it more convenient to visit at any time of the day. The Royal falooda, Kathi roll, paav Bhai are items definitely worth trying.

I Was craving chaat, and super excited to eat it, but my God. It was watery and full of onions and very little of everything else. Not to mention the guy made it in less than 2 minute. I've always been a fan of this place, but I'm starting to change my mind!

Best place for indian quick bite.. had Raj kachori, Chole bhature, parathas and kathi roll .. everything was delicious 🤤.. the only negative point is the food is bit oily .. and trash bin next to the food counter was overflowing but no one took care after reporting multiple times..

We used to love going to this Royal Pan location but our last 2 experiences have been really bad. Yesterday we ordered Chole Bhature (chole were under cooked & Bhatura was full of oil) , Fried Momo (stuffing was bland & chutney was salty). The only tasty thing was the Samosa chaat. We didn't order our usual Rose Kulfi Faluda & Banarsi paan as we had a bad experience with rest of the food. I hope they bring the quality of food back upto their last year levels.

Previously had good experiences however this time they have really messed up my order. Ordered chaat papri and what I got was all papri and no cholay (chick peas) or the red sweet sauce that’s usually there. Incomplete serving basically … Utterly disappointed

Overall experience: Excellent. Ordered: vada pav, chole bhature, masala dosa, masala fires and Bombay grill sandwich. Portions: weren’t bad, but the last time I visited royal pan was couple years back not this same location and I remember they used to serve two bhaturas with chana. Must try: Bombay grill sandwich and vada pav. Customer service: very friendly staff and gave good recommendations. Cleanliness: tables weren’t clean as there were only two staff working. Would definitely recommend to everyone who wants to try Indian fast food and I’ll be coming back as well.

Our first time trying this place and we were not disappointed with the food. We are familiar with Indian food but not street food and it was absolutely delicious. We asked what their top 3 best sellers were and ordered them. Their chutneys I wish were bottled for purchase. The atmosphere and decor itself could use some updating but if you're looking for good eats, it's definitely worth a shot and is now on our list of go-to Indian spots in Pickering.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to such an unhygienic/unprofessional establishment. Not only did I have to wait 30 minutes for my simple order but I found a long hair in my dahi puri, gross. Part of my order was sitting for so long that the dahi puri got soggy…

It isn’t the same Indian authentic taste, which you may be looking for, so just be prepared, the chat papdi was on sweeter side, even asking for spicy one, I wouldn’t recommend unless you don’t have any other option

22Aug21- ********** We went to Royal Paan Pickering on 22nd August. It was an amazing experience. We ordered a bunch of stuff - Aloo tikki chaat / Samosa chaat / Chole Bhature / Gulab Jamun with rabri / Paneer kathi roll / Masala Dosa / Royal rose Kulfi falooda / Calcutta Meetha Paan. Everything was very tasty & freshly cooked. Aloo tikki was crisp on the outside with their special filling & the combination of green + sweet chutney + dahi + chole was balanced i.e. none of it was over whelming. Taste of Samosa chaat was enhanced due to crispiness & the samosas being "khuskhusa". This is the first time I have eaten proper khuskhusa samosa in GTA. Almost everywhere, samosa's have rubbery exterior and as soon as you try to make chaat , it becomes even more rubbery and tough to get a spoonful of it. Both Samosa chaat & aloo tikki chaat were only eaten half (as we had bunch of items to taste) at the restaurant and we took the rest home , they were ok till late evening. Chana bhatura was also good (although they only give 1 bhatura with the plate) which we are fine with as long as they maintain the quality & freshness. Gulab jamun & rabri was amazing but we shouldn't have brought half of it home, it should be eaten right at the restaurant and it tasted amazing & authentic. Masala dosa was also good and surprisingly half of it survived till late evening and also tasted good even after several hours (we heated up the dosa on pan and it turned out OK). Lastly the highlight was Royal rose kulfi falooda, after a long time we got the same desi style rabri kulfi falooda taste here in GTA. We are going back there again today to try their other items and will post a review of how they turn out. I just hope they maintain the same quality & authentic taste as this is going to be our goto spot for weekend dine out. 27Aug21- ********** Went there again yesterday. Ordered same i.e. Aloo tikki chaat / Samosa chaat / Chole Bhature / Bombay grill sandwich / Royal rose Kulfi falooda / Calcutta Meetha Paan. Someone else wrote a review and I completely agree with it now i.e. they have 2 cooks, 1 is spicy & other is extra spicy. So yesterday our food must have been cooked by extra spicy cook (last time we went on sunday and this time we went on saturday). The chloe bhature / samosa chaat / aloo tikki chaat were extra spicy, to the point that the spice over whelmed the other taste. Therefore I will take off 1 star. The other items i.e. rabri falooda + calcutta paan were consistently good. Bombay grill sandwich was also good. Lets see what happens on 3rd visit. Will another star be reduced or back to 5 star.

I want to give more than 5 star if possible. Service is the best. Love the variety of fast-food they offer. Their falooda is the best thing to try. This is the place where you can go and enjoy the food at any time of the day. I have tried almost all the things they offer. Almost every recepie has the right amount of spicies. Also, as the name suggests their paans are also top quality as good as the paan you get in india. Bombay grill sandwich and samosa chaat are the best. Pav bhaji, vada pav were good too.

The best Indian food restaurant in the town. Went there with my family and ordered a couple of items. Everything was really delicious and masala dosa is a must try. Their desserts are really good especially the khoya kulfi and rabri. Highly recommended if you want indian experience in Canada. The staff was really friendly and served the food within minutes. Excellent service

Food quality is degraded from previous. We ordered paneer paratha, and it was not fully cooked. On complaining their was no response from the staff. Chole bhature was delicious. Update: ordered chole bhature again. It's still the best. Constant taste. Specially bhature were not oily.

We recently picked up our order and had some problems with our ordering app. Akshay helped us out and offered us a free drink. Recommended 👍👍

Very disappointing, unprofessional customer service. No value for money what they serve. Treating customers like they are doing free service. Falooda taste like water mixed artificial flavour. If they didn't able make reasonable food, at least Management must provide basic training for customer care.

The service was friendly and we came here for chai but left with the hakka noodles burger and chaat, but honestly things weren’t up to par. The hakka noodles burger seems very saucy and not fresh for some reason, especially the bun, and the kashmiri chai felt watered down. Might have just been that specific day but probably wouldn’t come again.

If you want to enjoy tasty Vegetarian food this restaurant is a must visit. There is a lot of variety, my personal favorites are Paneer katti roll and Vada Paav. Hospitality by the team is excellent. Beverages are also excellent. All in all it is great to have a clean and pure Vegetarian restaurant in Durham.

Try to learn some customer skills to employee specially who work at closing time. Don't give attitude to customer. If you have something out of stock or you sold out there are so many professional way to say that.

Worst service, verry high price. I ordered momos. With momos i got achaar instead of spicy chutney. I got bhelpuri which I didn’t even ordered. Since I didn’t checked the content of the order, i ended up paying for it too. 61$ for 2 pav bhaji’s 2 noodle burger and 1 momos. (1 bhel which they added themself)

Giving 4 stars just because some of the staff needs to know something about customer service. Went to the place one say to order food and the music was so loud the staff and me had really hard time hearing each other which she noticed but she didn’t lower the volume found it little funny though
