One of the best (and only) places around to get very good fresh bagels. They also have very good fresh breads and assorted pastries. I love to get a bag of day old bagels when they’re available… they used to have dine in seating but since Covid that part has been blocked off. Hopefully they reopen it someday (soon?)

This place is amazing because it has so many halal options and it all tastes really good. But i found 2 strands of hair in their bagel & when I complained i wasn't given any remorse. I had ordered for a pickup. Felt disgusting to remove the hair and continue eating!

I was charged 12$ and change for 2 bagels with cream cheese. One was a chocolate chip bagel 1.25$ (with strawberry cream cheese) second a plain bagel 1.25$ (with plain cream cheese). When I went to pay I asked if they had charged me correctly. There’s no way 2 bagels with cream cheese could cost 12+$. Even with tax, ?? The reply was I was also playing for the service. What service? I placed an order as I do at any other fast take out restaurants. So a 1.25$ bagel with a spread of cream cheese let’s say 75 cents, in the end a total of 12-13$???? Be ware. They seriously are price gouging and taking us for fools! Very disappointed and disgusted!

Wow. I am very happy I finally got to try this location. The staff are friendly and helpful and took time to ensure they got my order correct and even suggested some nice choices. The bakery 🧁🧁🧁 has amazing items and even if one is not picking a custom Sandi it is always worth to take a peak at what's available on the shelves. 5 stars 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Stopped by on the way to Montreal and was not disappointed. We had three bagels and all of them were toasted perfectly, crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. We were a little hesitant to try the rainbow bagel but tasted great. Our favorite sandwich the chicken schnitzel, perfectly fried. Would definitely come back when I am in the area.

We loved mini pastries. Bagels were very soft. The male stuff was very nice to us to explain all pastries. There’s no seating available at this moment. They also had cute icing cookies for Halloween. We will go back there for sure.

Becky and the staff are ery friendly, polite and efficient. Becky was especially patient in explaining the assortment of cream cheese to our father. We picked up a dozen of assorted agels and a couple of fantastic bagel sandwiches We were a bit dissappointed the seating area is still closed, as we wanted to sit down for breakfast.

What A Bagel! More like what a RIP OFF!! $46 for A dozen and a half bagels and cream cheese? I didn’t realize until I got into my car and looked at my receipt that it came to that much. They weigh your cream cheese and charge you by weight ???that is absolutely ridiculous! Pure robbery. I think it’s safe to say that will be my last visit there. I get a dozen great Canadian bagel’s which are 10 times better than these bagels and bigger with cream cheese and it comes up to $20.

Staff was very friendly and made the food with care. I have dietary restrictions so I appreciated that they changed their gloves between each item. Will definitely go back!

Good place for buying bagels and bread. They have in store baking facilities which give competitive edge to other business in competition. Business has good staff which provide relatively better customer service compare with other neighborhoods businesses.

Cheddar bagel wasn't available ended up getting 6 other bagels not bad for price for 1/2 dozen and ended up getting 2 kinds of cream cheese, cheaper than buying breakfast out. Place is busy, staff is attentive and lots of regulars!

I have had their bagels and pastries and it's good. Ingredients are fresh and tastes good as it's all in house. Only downside is that's it's quiet expensive compared to other in house bagel shops in Toronto and other cities like Montreal.

Amazing bagels and sandwiches. Everything is fresh and made on the spot. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to grab a bagel/sandwich for breakfast or lunch. We came here twice and I would recommend something in a bagel obviously. I had the veggie wrap which was good but I would recommend something in a bagel for others to try. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Absolutely amazing! I have been coming here ever since I moved here a few years ago. The sandwiches and the staff are the absolute best. The food is incredible (my favorite is the BLT on jalapeno bagel, and also soooooo many great baked good) and thr customer service is incredible. We had a funeral vendor cancel on us for a funeral in the west end. Luckily I knew what a bagel would save the day. Called in at 7 AM, they usually need 24 hours for catering but I explained my situation...they had the beautiful sandwich platter ready for me by 9 AM. Truly remarkable people working here and making incredible food. Great job and huge thanks to the whole staff here at What A Bagel Ajax!

Food is always fresh and delicious. Love Vegan Friendly Bagel because it tastes so good. Sprouts and pickled onion make it!

Always fresh gourmet bagels. They are making new batches all the time. Must try the ones just when they are taking them out hot. If you never had before you would be surprised how different they are compared to the ones you get at the grocery store. So soft and warm

Great food. Always fresh. A bit on higher side but worth it. I like that they serve halal. Excellent service.

Been here several times already and fell in love with their parmesan chicken sandwich. Tried their schnitzel but still prefer the Parm chicken over it. Great selection of baked goods as well. Would recommend for a quick bite or take out. If you take out, call ahead, don't pay extra to Uber.

Awful. Will not be going back. 10$ for a bagel with cream cheese. Bagel barely toasted and looks like it was cut with their eyes closed. Enough cream cheese on the bagel for 10 bagels. I had to go home and take apart the bagel and retoast it / take off 1lb or cream cheese.

Great fresh baked bagels, warm for takeout, or dressed up as a sandwich with so many options. Excellent staff is friendly and efficient.
