Going to AIM has honestly been one of the best decisions my wife and I have made. Our family doctor would rather wait for us to show symptoms of illness before doing any testing, so we decided to seek out a naturopath. Dr. Diane and the AIM team took the time to understand our needs and concerns, educate us about options, and facilitate our desired tests. She took the time to explain all results to us, and gave us feedback about ways to optimize our health. I cannot recommend her enough, and I am so thankful we trusted our instincts and explored naturopathic medicine.

I have only visited Dr. Ho twice, but even after those two interactions, I have discovered so much about my hormone and gut health. She is a wealth of knowledge and really takes the time to answer all of my questions. I feel optimistic about my health for the first time in a while and I thank Dr. Ho for that. I was looking for a clinic that offered chiropractic, acupuncture and massage therapy services all in one place and after a thorough search in the Durham Region, I found that the AIM clinic was the perfect match for me! I like the fact that I can manage all of my appointments online and that the online booking process is straightforward and simple. They offer direct billing which is a huge plus for me and I really like how open and honest they are about their pricing. They are always on time with their appointments, I've never had to wait longer than a minute to be seen by any of the team. The clinic itself is much more spacious than I thought it would be and it's remarkably clean! I had many questions and sent several emails prior to booking my first appointment - the administrative team was so quick, clear and helpful with their responses. Dr. Diane Peters provided a good explanation of my symptoms and asked pertinent questions. The only critique was the problem with the technology (Jane) that didn't allow for video and then cut out mid-call. Otherwise, I would highly recommend!

This wasn't quite the same as an in-person appointment, but I did find it excellent and a great tool for communicating and sharing some of the issues I am dealing with. The screen sharing and ability to have my web-cam in hand also were very useful. Obviously this is also very convenient and safe!

On my first visit ever with Steven was amazing. He didn’t just have me lay in a chair and feel my back looking for where I’m tight and start adjusting. He asked what my issues were and how I believed it cause my pain. He actually figured out what was causing my lower back pain. He actually only did one adjustment and had me do 3 exercises and I’m writing this the next day. My back feels so much better. I can’t believe that my back didn’t go right back to being stiff the next day. I will continue these exercises everyday because I had instant relief leaving his office and still the next day. Steven really knows how to fix a lower back so that I can strengthen it so I don’t have pain anymore. Thank you so much Steven.

I rarely take time to leave Google Reviews but, I wanted to ensure that I wrote out how thankful I am for Dr. Nimal's help at Active Integrative Medicine (AIM). I've played basketball my entire life and have never suffered an injury like I had 3 months ago. My right arm experienced a bit of nerve damage which negatively impacted both my personal & work life terribly. After an evening in an ER, doctors appointments, x-rays/ultrasounds and a ton of prescribed painkillers - the issue was essentially left to me to find a specialist and begin the journey to full recovery. I met Dr. Nimal and she was extremely down to Earth; patient, both a great listener and conversationalist. She truly wanted to find the best solution towards remedying the crippling pain and for the first time in a long time (after having had numerous chiropractor experiences in the past) I felt cared for like a person, rather than simply another client in a long work day's agenda. I've seen Dr. Nimal at minimum once per week, sometimes twice per week, for the past 3 months and I am so glad to be getting my life back on track as the summer is now finally beginning. She is such a thorough Chiropractor, and between that specific type of therapy, the Acupuncture that she provides as well, and what she has instructed me to complete at home in regards to personal exercises - they have truly made more of a difference than any painkiller could have benefited my scenario.
