Beautiful place for walking and fishing, today I caught a Pike. Free public parking close to Bay area and another extended free public parking nearby. Usually in the evening I go for fun fishing, spend one good hour or two. Like this place. Another day on July 24th, 2021 my son caught a 4lbs largemouth Bass from the same place. I caught one Bass 1 lb weight as well in the same day. Recommend this location for fishing. Bass, Pike, Bluegills etc.

Such a nice place to get away and spend time with family. We parked on the street with free parking for the first two hours and it's free on Hot spot parking app. Very beautiful view and nice beach. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

We've always come here in the summer for the past few years. Nice beach in the summer. We just wanna create an awareness to please help keep the beach clean. Don't throw your garbage everywhere. For the next generation to enjoy.

Great place to get away from city life not aa busy anymore because they started charging for parking alonh Liverpool Rd and the lot. If you are a Pickering resident you just need to get a parking permit and it's free on Hot spot parking app.

Had a wonderful evening there, in one side ocean like Lake Ontario and the otherside beautiful liverpool road, have free parking, lot of fishing spots...i will go again soon

Nice place for a stroll. Not too many stores or places to rest. There were lots of birds: ducks, swans, geese, and even a falcon. Some people were fishing for pikes. Some areas are blocked off.

This place has everything to offer. Sunset or full moon- you choose. I visit this place frequently. Once I finished sunset and then watched full moon. All are in one place. It’s a nice place for your morning or evening walk. I always go to the west side of the marina. You will see two light houses one is red and another one is green. Every few steps, you will find benches to sit which are facing to the water. It’s always fun and relaxing to go there.

A scenic place to be during spring, summer, fall and winter. This place is a heaven just few km away from GTA. You can do fishing, kayaking, boat riding during spring and summer. This place is full of people over the weekends. Since covid the city has started Pay and Park. A lot of activities to do around the Frenchman’s Bay Marina. Do visit someday 😇 you will not be disappointed.

A beautiful place to spend some quality time with your friends and family! It’s not over crowded you can do fishing as well. Parking Is bit expensive easy hour you have to pay 5$ if you park in the street it’s free for 2 hours .overall it’s a good experience highly recommended this place.

Amazing little place. Walk by the lake, watch the boats go by, lots of nice restaurants and cafe's. There is always live music to enjoy in summer.

Beautiful shoreline with an awesome sea-side vibe. Lots of sailboats and cool kite surfers when the weather is nice.

The Sailing Restaurant was very nice; good salad though the steak was a bit tough.

We went to the The Sailing restaurant and bar and it was the very worst experience ever. The service was so bad !! We were there for drinks and possibly an appetizer however we heard 4 ladies tell us don't eat the food as all of their meals were absolutely horrible?

Pretty view with the boats and water views. Nice size beach for swimming and no crowds. Nice honey streets to do a walk about. Nice for a small walk before or after drinks or dinner.

Nice peaceful beach in pickering with little eateries nearby. You can swim and fish as well. There's a nuclear power plant nearby so be a little careful

Overcrowded. Conditions worsen every year. Locals hate the tourists and they make it so difficult to enjoy here. Right next to nuclear plant so you know you are getting radiation too. Beach is just rocks.

We visited mid-morning on a weekday (Monday). Nobody was around, and nobody was using the ramps. The people on-site were miserable, arrogant, and they wanted $25. to launch our 12' row boat. It wasn't the fact they wanted $25. to launch a boat worth a couple hundred bucks, it was their attitude. Even if we would have paid, we would have had to find our own parking elsewhere. We won't be going back. Plus, the marina waters were filled with weeds. We fished off the pier and did just fine. Whitby public boat ramps into Lake Ontario next time . . . lots of parking, and a free double ramp into Whitby Harbour. Pickering is off our boating destination list. No customer service awards for these people.
