    I've been dealing with Continental Fitness for many years now. No complaints here and will continue to deal with them... All the way from Ottawa. I've read some of the other reviews and can tell you that it is the norm to charge for a service call, even if it takes 5 minutes to work on something, whether it can be repaired or not. Call a plumber or electrician, you will get charged for the time it takes to go to your house. That's why it's hard to find someone to repair residential fitness equipment. People don't want to pay if something can't be fixed or if it took 2 minutes to fix.

    Recently had one of their techs out to my house to look at our elliptical, he was friendly and very professional, now waiting on the repair to be completed...... will update this review again once it’s completed

    Tried to stop in quickly to inquire about dumbbells in a couple different weights, and the location was closed despite the sign saying they didn't close until 5pm. Yes, it was nearly 5pm, but what a terrible business practice to close up early. Loss of business tonight as a result.

    Continental Fitness Company was referred to me by Horizon (the same as my treadmill brand)since my treadmill stopped working. Over the phone they asked me about the visa card number otherwise they would not book an appointment. The next day technician (Neal) showed up 30 min earlier than he was supposed to arrive. After 5 min testing he found out that lower board control was not working. He left with me an work order which no human being would be able to read. I refused the company's double offer to fix the treadmill for $506 (coming from receptionist) or $1,000 (coming from Neal). When I got the visa statement I was charged $169.50 for 5 minutes testing. I strongly advise anyone steer way from this company and especially from Neal's incompetency, laziness, rudeness. Too bad it does not give me a choice to choose 0 stars.

    Kamal and his friendly staff have helped me, time and time again, to find everything I've wanted and needed to put together my own home gym. Especially during covid. Good prices and very large selection of all different types of equipment. I highly recommend buying your fitness equipment here.

    Excellent customer service, just had my C3 Lifecycle repaired by Continental! Interacted with Denise with regards to service appts, ordering the required part and Gary, the Service Technician. Both are extremely efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous. Dealing with your company was an absolute pleasure, thanks Continental :) Kind Regards, Greg

    The two technician assigned was friendly however, we were quoted under 250 max on the phone for diagnosing an issue with technogym skillmill console on why it didn't turn on. After approximately an hour of work, it was a matter of connecting a wire. Granted yes they had to undo a couple screws to access the connector but I'm not sure if two technicians were necessary and for the amount of work, it is quite overpriced as I was charged over the quoted max amount of 262. Given i was able to put together the whole skillmill together myself. It was a matter of either telling us that there's another connector that needs to be connected, I feel $150 would have been just to piece a couple plastics together and connecting a wire, but 262 i feel is a little too much. My moving company of relocating both the technogym kinesis and the skillmill was only $200. Imagine having them to install the whole thing.

    I called them about 2 months ago to fix my exercise bike. They charged me for a visit and the tech wasn’t able to fix my bike (which is fine, it’s a chance I was willing to take). He said he had diagnosed the problem and would be back with the proper parts. A month later he came back with the parts (but not the screen which I was told he would come with), tried a couple of things and again didn’t did the bike. He said I needed a screen (which I already knew he needed from his previous visit) and would find out if he could get me one later that day ( now I paid for 2 visits ). He said someone would call me in the evening. 2 weeks went by and I don’t get a call. I call them and speak to a lady who says she’ll call me back later that day and let me know what’s going on. The call never came. Another 2 weeks go by and I talk to a gentleman who apologized and promised he would call me back the next day. That was over a week ago now and still no call back. Unless you know what’s wrong with your equipment don’t use these guys. They’re friendly for the most part but zero for communication skills and follow ups

    I was very disappointed with Continental Fitness, I went in recently to see about purchasing a workout bench and was told that they did not have any in stock, when I asked if they have an inventory sheet with the products and prices offered I was told to check out their site. A lot of good that did, their site does not have any products on it, instead they direct you to their suppliers who funny enough do not have prices. Its to bad they didn't want my business.

    They wanted my credit card information BEFORE sending a service tech out! I have never heard of a Company doing this. They said they had been burned in the past. Have customers refused to pay due to no-show techs or bad service?

    The worst experience. I have to set up five appointments to finally be served. A lady that I assumed is the receptionist for this business had me set up these appointments but their so called technicians never showed up. When I called I was told it was my fault since they had not set up any appointments even though I had the time and day scheduled in my calendar since that was the information given at the time when I called. That was the first time. The second time and after confirming date and time, I was left waiting for the technician to arrive and when I called the receptionist she just said they could not do it that day because they had been too busy. Anyhow, she rescheduled and again, the technician did not show up. Eventually and after five attempts, one technician showed up. Besides he knowing little about the machine he was supposed to repair (he told me he had no idea that it was that kind of machine he was supposed to look at. " I don't usually work on this big one and if I do, I was supposed to bring someone else to help me") I offered my help and did most of the lifting while he was looking underneath nevertheless, I was charged almost $300. I was told they will call me back with a quote for the actual repair but they never did and it's been a month now.
