The course is scenically beautiful, challenging and offers amazing value for the price. Take your camera as you will want pictures of this place! The biggest downfall and the only thing stopping me from giving this course five stars, is that the lady in the clubhouse/ starter is obnoxious/ hysterical. She is rude, forceful and will get you nice and angry for your first hole. The second last time I went. She called prior to my tee time to say that my partner and I were late when in fact we weren’t. According to the time on my Apple Watch and phone my brother and I were ready to go at 7:24. She called us frantically at 7:23 to berate us, and came out to chirp us as well. Today she told us FOUR times not to drive the cart on the grass. Each time she said it we agreed. We are all in our late 30s and 40s, and don’t need someone speaking to us like children. She really is a reason that makes us think twice about booking here. This is the worst clubhouse attendant on any course I have played this year by FAR!

Had a GREAT DAY @ 4 Seasons Golf Club! Many challenging par 4s and par 3s. An amazingly tough course!! Prettiest little course in the GTA!!! Always an awesome experience - some of the most challenging green complexes anywhere. The course is always well maintained and very organized.

I only gave ONE star because I cannot give anything lower... I came to the golf course with my friend. There are two main reasons why I had a awful experience today. It was very rushed, and the staff at the front desk had a POOR attitude while speaking to me, my family, and my friend. I acknowledge that I am only a beginner (I am only a child) , and my skill level is not yet ready for golf games. I am trying my best to move fast. I did NOT enjoy the game at all. I ordered for nine holes, and half of them are not finished. I skipped many shots to give space for the people behind me. I cannot even play a normal game of golf. They reported this problem to the staff at front desk. The staff was impatient and made us move faster even though we were already trying our best... Nobody had any patience! Furthermore, the staff at front desk had a very poor attitude. When I first signed in at the pro shop, the staff at the front desk spoke to me, my friend, and my parents in a way that made me feel uncomfortable. The staff repeated the same thing many times in an unsuitable way as if I was deaf. When the staff told us to go faster, she had zero patience. Today was really not fair for my friend and I. Now we are discouraged from playing golf. I waited many days to play, and just hoping today to come. However, when today arrived, it was a complete catastrophe! Golfing should be a relaxing sport, but it was very rushed today. It was my first time playing on real golf course, and I had a TERRIBLE experience. That is why I gave ONE STAR.

4 Seasons is one of the better courses I've played in Durham. Each time I've played, the course is in great condition. Tee boxes are near perfect and fairways/greens are well maintained. This isn't the longest course as it has only one par 5, but its layout adds some challenge. There are elevation changes which create some interesting holes and great views. For $70 with a cart on the weekend this course provides great value.

Excellent course; staff are very friendly and helpful. It's got some challenging holes for sure. Lots of drops and uphill shots, bends, water hazards and great scenery. Will come back for sure to play again. Only caveat (and I don't list this as a negative to the golf course) is there were a BUNCH of inconsiderate players out this Saturday. Driving carts all over the grass and green areas (it's a path only day); blasting music that we could here 700m away; broken clubs on 3 of the holes left behind by some angry person(s).

This course is a hidden Gem. The valley is beautiful and the greens are really well kept. Some holes are very tight and narrow which is a real test of a golfers ability. Staff is fantastic and always pleasant. Thank you.

what a great experience. Very friendly staff, professional and organized. Karen in the pro shop and Chris, the starter, were on top of it, getting everyone out in an organized fashion and flexing around no shows and people hoping to get out in a very efficient way, all without compromising pace of play. All the groups were happy to be out at this time of year and were moving things along, so that was a bonus. For this time of year, that course is in good condition. They only have the upper nine holes open (back 9), we managed to play 18, and it was magical. 15 degrees mid December, there is little reason to complain. Will certainly be back in the summer, but this is now my go to anytime there's a decent day as they are open all year round, weather permitting. Keep on doing what you're doing! You're doing great!!

Short <5000 yard course. $50+ for 9 holes with cart is too much for this track. Good for beginners and for experienced players who want to work on their 150yard in clubs, but it’s no longer a β€œdeal”. Will not return

First time playing golf, I was really nervous and didn't know what to expect. The process was made really smooth from checking in at the time, to the golf cart assignment, guidance on how to drive the golf cart, followed of courseby where to start and which path to follow to complete the course! Friendly staff and amazing golf course with stunning views. I'll surely be making this a regular place to visit!

A must play course in Durham region. Beautiful and well maintained greens. Fairways are cut well, and offer challenges for all levels of golfers. Staff is friendly and helpful. Stunning views in the fall when the leafs change. Prices are very competitive for area.

4 seasons is definitely my favorite course around durham. This family owned course is the best kept gem. It's such a beautiful course. I go here 2 to 3 times a week. It's also more affordable than most. Thank you Karen, Paul and the rest of your family. I love the family dogs that run the course too... they make my day.

Called this venue for wedding package quotes and the lady was very condescending and rude from the start of the call. Considering that people spend fortunes on their weddings you'd assume at least a basic decency of respect when you're calling to inquire but clearly their staff lacks in that regard. Looks like a nice venue but if the staff isn't nice I'd rather spend more elsewhere. Whoever the lady is in charge for wedding inquiries needs further basic training or another job that doesn't deal with customers.

Course conditions were really quite good on a beautiful fall day. A couple of slow groups were ahead of us but that's not the course's fault.

Starting reading the reviews from lowest rating, don't what some people expect from a golf course. Played it yesterday for the first time and loved it, as did two others playing with me. Played from 4800 yards and as one other said, toughest 4800 he had ever played, the par 3s are real nice and course In real good shape. Don't drink but turkey and cheese sandwich with gatorade was only 11 dollars. Can't smash and bash but well worth the play.

Course is fun we’ll kept. I’m not sure why the greens keeper thought it was okay to be touching my clubs as I was inside the club house paying for my round. As soon as I come back outside he instantly lets go of my driver. Very unprofessional someone who works at a golf course should understand etiquette.

Love and hate this course equally. Pay attention to their sign, "Do you have enough balls?" Great course that's in great condition.

The price for golfing and the cart was pretty good. What was very annoying is the only "map" of each hole is on the back of the scorecard, which gives little information. There are a lot of holes where water is an issue, but there really isn't any information to tell you how far away the streams or ponds are. Other golf courses will post the distances, which makes it easier to play. Plus there were a few hole where I thought I was avoiding the bunkers, but found out that when you hit long, your ball goes down a steep cart path. Lost too many balls because of the above. If I was a regular player at this course, I guess it would be more manageable. For newcomers, it's annoying. The cart girls was around often, so this was great!
