We enjoyed a champagne tasting with tapas style appetizers, unfortunately they were out of the meal we wanted. Pretty laidback outdoor seating. Prices were a little higher than I was expecting but it’s not every day you have a champagne tasting in dom Pérignon Street. The appetizers are small but tasty. They speak English. There are no designated parking spots near the restaurant but we asked and were able to park right in front. The roads leading toward and out of the area are beautiful.

Terrific little patio in a gorgeous small hilltop town. Requires pre-booking as very busy. My boyfriend and I shared the 6 flutes of various Champagnes to taste. We enjoyed all of them, and the food was good too, though we were very hard pressed to find any vege/ pescetarian options in the region. We had a cheese plate and ratatouille to accompany our wine. Perfect tasting afternoon!

This review concerns the shop/cave. We visited the restaurant/tasting room many times over the years and love it. Today, we went over to the shop, in search of a specific Champagne. We looking at the various labels, when the manager/shop assistant told my wife (a WSET qualified wine professional) to ‘you don’t need to look at the labels as you don’t know anything about Champagne. All the Champagnes here are good’ in an incredibly rude and patronising tone. A great shame, given how good the restaurant & tasting room over the road is!

We enjoyed lunch here. Tasty food and the champagne tasting was also nice, though we felt quite expensive compared to other offers in the village.

Loved this place. We visited as part of a Champagne tasting tour and it was one of the highlights of the trip. Beautiful food accompanied by 5 delightful champagnes. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants and champagne bars in champagne. Get the duck pairing 3 ways and whatever chicken in the pot they have. Minimum get the 3 champagne pairing. You get 100% Chardonnay, Meunier and pinot noir each. 🙌❤️🤤🥂

Small place in a small town. Mostly stew type dishes. It was a cool rainy day when we stopped in and the meals were served in a small pot with a Spork (spoon/fork combo). The wife and I got different stews and they were both delicious and perfect for a damp day.

A very nice place to drink and eat after visiting Hautvillers. Very friendly staff. Nice dishes on the menu. We took a champagne tasting of 6 glasses...Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Assemble, Millesime and a Rose. By doing this you will discover the different flavors. In our opinion prices are a little too high. Nevertheless we enjoyed.

We came here twice in our stay in Hautvillers. Champagne tasting are reasonable price and excellent selection. Very friendly quick service. Had Champard'ises, a selection of delicatessen foods from the region and Poulet Fermier, a chicken and vegetable casserole in champagne cream, both very good. Don't miss the amazing raspberry macaron. A real gem, highly recommended.

The great thing about this place is that this is where we learned about our champagne tastes. The large tasting selection of 6 glasses gave us great insight into what grape we like in champagne. The food is delicious and typically French. A bit on the expensive side though

Hautvillers is a tiny but upscale village and this is a polished and trendy restaurant featuring Champagne tasting and retail sales. We had lunch there and loved it. Beautiful modern design, sharp attentive staff, and a focused menu with fresh and slightly modern interpretations of poulet femier & saucisse aux lentillions. There are various tasting flights that are kind of California in their approach of delivery but which I grudgingly admit work wonderfully. There are three basic grapes commonly used in Champagne and you can taste them in a flight where each glass of wine is one grape only being Chardonnay, then Meunier and then Pinot Noir. Really a fun process. The catch is that a modern high end restaurant, great staff, and quality food has to be paid for so despite being in a small village, the pricing is more big city. These people work hard and deliver. Highly recommend.

Incredible champagne, food, service and dessert! The pots are hearty and tasty, and the macaron is the ultimate dessert. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
