Great hotel! Fantastic location and very helpful staff. We could bring our dog with us which was a big big plus. ... and all that for a very good price. Definitely staying again when in Madrid.

Stayed 2 nights end of July 2022. Good stay. Easy access to Central Station uphill and all amenities. Really cool 1500s (? I think) building with ancient stairs that are beautifully worn. Quiet and cool and comfortable after long days in the heat sightseeing. Shower was small and the little shampoo packs were horrible!, had to use knife to cut open. Extra little bed in the room made room really tight would have been better with small hide-a-bed. Was a good place to stay for inexpensive couple of nights.

Perfect location and nice bed. Beautiful old building. Unfortunately i can hear every word from the neighbors and also their tv, but this is because they are just very loud. Also sometimes the cold water is not there but its easily turned back on.

Great little hotel in a central location. The proprietor was very welcoming, helpful and friendly with our dog. Room was spacious and comfortable, with double aspect windows, comfy bed and a good shower. We will definitely come back!

Well... where do I start? - It wasn't so clean. Some weird sticky stains on the floor. - The walls are probably made of cardboard. Heard neighbors coughing and having adult fun. Literally. - The interior is old and doesn't feel cozy at all. 2 twin beds, only one night lamp - and it's flickering so couldn't really use it. - Soap/shampoo in little plastic baggies. It's even worse to the environment than using little plastic bottles... - No towel hangers in bathroom - of any type. Just invest a euro in a cheapest hook to make it somehow useful... - The room is super small. I've been in small hotel rooms, but this is SO small and impractical. On a good side - the service was ok (though I opted out room cleaning, so don't know how good is that), and the location is great. The only great thing about this place. For me, the stay wasn't a good experience. So I don't recommend.

Nice hotel with carpet inside on the second floor of a building next to Anton Martin metro station. Great location. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Room a little bit noisy when customers ring the bell. Friendly staff.

Good clean place for a very good price…

I stayed here for 3 nights in June 2019. It was very clean, small, but it had everything a person needs. Location is very good, you can take the 203 express bus from the airport towards Atocha train station and from there just walk to the hotel. The personnel is very nice, guided me where to go. Silvia, the receptionst is very friendly and helpful! Everybody there speaks english. There are many shops and restaurants and places where to eat and Plaza Mayor , Reina Sofia Museum and Prado Museum are very close, as well as Palacio real. I would choose this place again if I'd come back to Madrid!

Pleasant stay. This is a no BS hotel. It is very basic but it is clean, functional, and perfectly situated in the center of Madrid. Be aware though that there is a lot of noise from the road, so you may want to bring ear plugs for sleep.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was great, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in the middle of the city so it's easy to move around. It has a metro station right next to it. But the room walls are a bit too thin, you can hear the next room quite easily

I stayed two nights before flying out of Madrid and it exceeded my expectations. I didn’t arrive until almost midnight but someone still came out to help me with my bags and show me the room. The bed was comfortable and the room was so quiet for being on a busy street. I appreciated the little details like the soap and shampoo in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful the entire time.

I stayed in a private room/bathroom at Hostal Edreira for a short 3-day vacation to Madrid and had a great experience: centrally located to lots of things, easy to get to from the airport, very clean and tidy in a beautiful old building, and easy to find/access with very clear instructions provided. My room was small and simple but had everything I needed (especially A/C on the 100+ degree days!) for a very affordable price.

Great value. Basic European hotel close to Anton Martin metro stop. Manager was helpful taking our bags early and seeing they made it to our room.

Clean and tidy, welcoming staff. Limited facilities, though a vending machine available for small range of food/drink options
