Everything was super only there is not too much young people in hotel (55+) also night entertainment was for older generation.

Food is fine but is typical hotel in Costa brava for customers seeking all included hotels, i should have checked before. And the swimming pool is really small with everyone crowded around. If you like this kind of hotels perfect else search another one. I expected more for a 4 stars superior that's all.

The hotel was fantastic! The staff were really friendly and helpful, the cleaning staff were brilliant. The rooms were kept extremely clean. The food was lovely!

We had an awesome time with great service. Lurdes started things off with the initial welcome and early check in. We received very helpful knowledge and assistance from Eugenia; Merce and Judith at the front desk. The food was awesome and always on schedule. We spent a lot of time at the bar with Teo; Carlos and Juan. All of the bar staff was easily accessible and willing/eager to assist. We would highly recommend this Hotel and it would be a place that we would be happy to revisit.

Stayed for one week recently and we’ll definitely be coming back in 2024. It’s so easy to travel to from Bournemouth airport as well, so we’re very happy to no longer have to deal with the chaotic London airports. Unbeknownst to us we arrived to the hotel during their 60th anniversary celebrations, so it was nice to see the hotel decorated and have some cakes during dinner service! The spa is great, which we used on the two occasions when the weather was a bit grey. Also I used the gym a few times. It’s small, but the equipment they do have is top of the range and they have some free weights too. My fiancée broke her foot when we were out on our travels and the hotel concierge/reception were really helpful with giving us ice and helping us seek medical treatment locally. They went above and beyond for us and for that we are eternally grateful. Only slight issue is that if like me you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend bringing earplugs. You’ll probably need the fan on during the night (we were there early September) but it is fairly loud. The hotel and the area generally hasn’t been hit with inflation like the UK has, so it’s still an affordable hotel. Having the beach and the train station a five minute walk away is also an amazing bonus. A short one stop to the next town (Callella) and about an hour to Barcelona. There’s plenty of restaurants and things to do and see within walking distance too. Can’t wait to come back here regularly!

One of the best hotels i ever had and that exist, you could est from the floor that’s how clean it was and is. The breakfast and dinner (only booked that) where awesome, there was something for everyone. The personal are such friendly and nice people you feel like at home. I didn’t mind the pool because I went rather to the beach bc that’s why I was there but it was clean and really big enough (like I said the beach isn’t even 5-10 min by foot away) but a nice service to have it there too. All in all great experience will come back definitely and will tell everyone about it that’s how amazed I am :)

Very nice and comfortable hotel, extremely clean everywhere - in the rooms, halls and restaurant. It's very well located - 5 minute's walk from the railway station and from the sea in rather quiet and not crowdy street, but very close to town promenade and various shops. The hotel gives free beach towels and sun umbrella, public beach is very close, clean, huge and almost no people during working days, though it will depend on a month. The food in the restaurant was fantastic: a lot of seafood, paella every meal, fruit and vegetables, variety of desserts. At first, we had breakfast only, then tried lunch and dinner, and decided to buy a full board - it's very cost-effective, saves your time, and very tasty. And, of course, all hotel employees we met are amazing! Thank you so much for a very warm welcome!

Nice room and the location is amazing. However, the service is not up to par for a 4 star hotel, in particular the bar staff. Bar staff should be trained to make every cocktail they offer. We had an awkward experience with 2 bloody Mary’s that were the worst we had in our life. In the end we settled it with 2 bikins. The attitude of the bar staff was not exactly professional when we complained. Also the nighttime entertainment was an old guy singing English songs, he was very bad- they could hire better local performers.

The hotel is very close to the beach, you only walk like 2 Minutes. Food and Service are just great, there literally is nothing to complain. I know there are some great Rooms, but my friends and I got some older ones (sadly) which still did their job tho. The Pool isn't the Biggest but it is big enough, considering the size of the Hotel. I really recommend booking all- Inclusive because that will spare a lot of costs

The service is first class. Hotel is clean and pleasant. Pool a little smaller than you precieve from the pictures but still good. Food, its tasty and a fair choice but it's always only warm, even if your eating when service first starts it's still only warm

From the moment we entered to the moment we left we were treated above and beyond our expectations. Early into our room, upgraded to a deluxe suite, welcome champagne, accommodation clean, very spacious, large bathroom with full size bath.. very comfortable beds. Very professional welcome by Katia, Rafael and Linda on reception was wonderful. We even added another day to our stay. Thank you team for a fabulous stay.

My friend (79) and I (50) booked hotel Stella & Spa last minute with TUI to enjoy some sunshine and Spanish culture. From past experiences all over this beautiful country, I knew the hotels in Spain offer very good price/quality. Upon reading the comments and seeing the photos online I booked this hotel, expecting it to be good. On many levels, the reality exceeded my expectations, this hotel is truly exceptional! For a big hotel it never feels crowded, the layout of the indoor and outdoor communal spaces is just perfect. There is a lovely and cosy library room with a piano and comfy seats, where you can read, chat or just relax when it’s a little too hot outside or you want some ‘quiet’ time. There are other nice areas too where you can relax such as; the big entrance hall with comfy seats and sofas, here you can meet up with other hotel guests or your own party. The sun lounger area around the pool is nicely set out, the pool is a nice size, it also has an excellent jacuzzi and jet stream! There is a gym on the 5th floor with gorgeous sea views, it has the newest equipment. Adjacent, in front of the gym, is a beautiful solarium terrace with lovely panoramic views over the neighbourhood and the sea, here, if you wish, you can enjoy the Spanish sunshine a little more private than around the pool area. On the other side of the pool are a few more sun loungers under palm and other trees where you can enjoy both sunshine and shade. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful, especially the hotel’s manager Lourdes goes above and beyond for the hotels’ guests and is very hands on. Our room (pool view) was modern, spacious, the beds were very comfy and it had a nice size terrace. The main reason I wanted to write this review (my apologies it’s a little lengthy) is the restaurant and it’s buffet. I have not seen any buffet with so many different food choices. Every mealtime feels like a treat for your taste buds. The different salads, meat, fish, hot and cold choices are truly amazing. If you have a sweet tooth you’ll feel in heaven when indulging in the (again) huge selection of freshly prepared desserts and delicious fresh fruit. This hotel truly is a gem!

Me and my family stayed for 1 week at SUMUS hotel and it was all in all a great stay! Rooms were super clean and bright, there was definetely room to store belongings. Bed was very comfortable and we even had a balcony with view on the pool area (super nice by night as well). Basically the hotel staff made from the beginning on everything possible we asked for - very friendly staff. There was live shows almost every evening at the bar for entertainment. The breakfast was awesome with a lot of choice of really everything! All in all an amazing stay (price - quality is TOP). Definitely recommended :)

Amazing resort experience. Rooms were nice and spacious with great view and balcony. The staff and service were on point. The breakfast is a must 10/10. Spa experience was great with a private salt water pool with jets as well as a jacuzzi and sauna. Good price/value ratio for our stay for 4 days in July

  • 2/5 Marisa G. 5 months ago on Google
Rooms are smaller than they appear. Indoor jacuzzi and sauna we're not included, for extra pay could be in better conditions, also only two showers, not exacly changing rooms. Gym is also extra pay. Parking another extra. We asked for iron and board, they only had one available in a 150 room hotel, we were restricted to use for 30min Only. Very poor signal for WiFi. Cleaning is decent.

Excellent! Strongly recommended. Bright, nice and clean rooms, near to the beach, lovely gardens and pool, and the buffet is delicious. Professional and kind staff. Definitely a good option for vacation.

Sumus is a very fine hotel. The service is good, and the staff are very nice. The front desk is open 24/7 and helps out with what ever you need. It was clean and tidy. The bar staff was very funny and good in the job. We had a great time for the week we was there. We was satisfied. The cleaning staff was also good in the job. They offer cleaning every day. The location was also perfect. With a walk distance to the mostly. The people in every shop and general population was very nice and helpful. However, we was there from 3 April to the 9 April. The degree was around 18° to 23° this week. Therefore not so hot. But the room was very hot nevertheless. The aircondition was not very good. It was actually better to turn it off, and have the balcony door open for air. If you are very carefully about things, I can mention that the building presumably was very old, and they have upgraded with paint. Also in the bathroom, so the paint had bubbles and cracks (no wet room paint). Probably from heat and condensation. There was no aeration in the bathroom, no fan. So it was very hot to take a shower. And the WIFI was very bad. But we had a great time, it was very cosy and nice.

Nice hotel and staff, however it is let down by a couple of things. 1. The bathroom design is terrible in the rooms - a sliding door that offers little privacy if someone else is using the area (e.g the sinks), the design also means that the door leaks water from the shower when slid into place in the toilet area, there are also no hooks to place clothes, 2. Having to pay €12 euros to use the spa area seemed a bit mean, 3. The bar food isn’t great, bravas were terrible, steak was over cooked and tough, nachos were measly. Could do better. Staff were very friendly though, and the breakfast was varied and good. Facilities clean.

hotel after renovation, but they don't care about cleanliness. I found hair on the floor in the toilet it didn't look good. Towels changed regularly but I received holes. When choosing a room, I paid more to have a comfortable room - despite the surcharges, the room is still very small. If you have dinner you have to pay extra for all drinks which was a big surprise for me. I often stay in hotels where I have not encountered anything like this.

We were very impressed! A very friendly staff, especially Jordi, Óscar, Damián and Mariana on the bar! Excellent food, very clean and very comfortable! The train station offers direct service to Barcelona; if you're coming by car it's less than an hour from the Barcelona airport, and they offer free parking.

I think the hotel was super fancy, elegant and clean. Loved the architecture and design of it. The rooms were extremely clean and adored the walls of the room. We had a nice view from balcony towards the . Cozy. The swimmingpool was enough big. Not much kids and noise either for those who like it without. Moreover a big buffe of food, plenty of variation. In conclusion I liked it and felt peace and relaxation. ♥️ hope this is appreciated for all travelers who are considering to come to this hotel! And thanks for the lovely guest I had the chance to meet. regards Stephanie Insta: successbysteph 20 august-27 august 2022♥️

From the Hotel Director to the Chamber Maids the friendliness and attention to detail was beyond reproach. We were on an all inclusive package and the food and beverages were of top quality and plentiful. Many thanks for a fabulous stay and we look forward to a future visit.

Do not stay here. The hotel reception staff are rude, unhelpful and patronising. They would not help with a simple request to confirm I had to leave early, which my travel insurance required. They also ignored and patronised me when I explained that the room was too hot overnight, and the air con was not working. They also ignored similar feedback from several other guests. On top of this, they also charge petty amounts for all kinds of services you would naturally expect from a supposed 4 star hotel - the gym, decent WiFi, the spa, use of the safe in the room, etc.

Hotel was clean with friendly staff. The location isn’t good for tourists as there were no bars or restaurants nearby. Also the other guests were judging towards us which also made our experience a poor one. Also takes over an hour to get into Barcelona.

My experience was excellent, and I'm definitely recommend it! Food All-inclusive meals was delightful, especially the fish 🍤 Breakfast offered the same but still a variety of ingredients to create unique meals, and themed dinners added a special touch such as Mexican food with sombreros. Room Always clean and peaceful, even with pool view. The bed is spacious and comfy. We had Superior room with 180cm bed 🛏️ Sea A quick 10-minute walk to the beach, with the added convenience of towels and a beach umbrella from the reception 🏖️ I expected noise from the train station but it remained quiet as the trains passed silently and I even didn’t notice them. Activities Our side trip to Blanes was a delightful adventure with rocky beaches and botanic garden 🌴 Staff Incredibly friendly, polite, and made us feel welcome 🫶 Entertainment The evening live music, piano concerts, and saxophone performances were amazing! 🎷
