An excellent hotel in the heart of Lavapies. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with a minimalist decor. It’s a 2 minute walk to the Lavapies metro station; very close to Atocha station; pleasantly walkable from Letras, Sol, etc. The management is very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Artrip Hotel for a few days and the place is amazing. Really close to landmarks and walking distance to some really nice restaurants and the Plaza Mayor. Rooms were nice as well. But beyond this what was most good was the staff. The owner Miguel was especially nice and gave us a lot of advice and tips on how to best spend our days in Madrid.

A great hotel experience that I would highly recommend. Family owned and thoughtfully set up, the people who work here are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are immaculate and spacious; the bed super comfortable and the shower pressure incredible. And of course, very well located. I have already recommended to various people. Thank you Artrip! I went 4 days to Madrid and stayed at the “Artrip Hotel”. The location is great, a few meters from the Lavapies metro station (and typical bars/restaurants of Argumosa street), just behind the Reina Sofia museum and with Madrid points of interest within walking distance. It is an old family house refurbished into a hotel, modern with all essential commodities. Miguel Angel and his team did everything to ensure that I had a good stay and gave me lots of advice; before my arrival by email (how to get to the hotel: metro, train or taxi) and during my stay (points of interest, restaurants, bars, etc.). A very good quality / price deal for a discovery stay. I was delighted and I highly recommend Artrip hotel. Miguel Angel & Esther : thanks !!!

Currently 4.7 stars but should be 5. The service, facilities, and experience are completely unexpected at this price. Everyone is so friendly and nice. Location is perfect. Will definitely come back here!

Booked a three bed room for a family trip and was super disappointed - the ‘sofa bed’ wasn’t made nor were there sheets in the room, just two sets of towels, and GLASS doors in front of the toilet and in front of the shower. The cleanliness is also disappointing. The floor is sticky and the furniture has all see a lot of use. Only the location is great and this might be fine for a couple who doesn’t mind a bit of wear and tear. But for me this is a disappointment after a long trip to get here.

Excellent location for all of Madrid’s museums, great staff with lots of local knowledge and value for money.

Awesome place, I stayed there with my 8 yo son and he said "Dad, why is this hotel only 2 stars? I want to give them 5!!!😎👍🏻... my son and I are used to travel to different places worldwide and we always look for location, friendliness, cleaningness, customer service and not for stars... We stayed at Hotel Artrip in June 2021. I booked a room based on my budget, not the room size, so I was so surprised when we unlocked the doors to the Jr. Suite. The staff is so kind and helpful - they made us feel like guests in their home. The breakfast was so good we never felt like we needed to try any other place, water available all day, Rose in the afternoon, great neighborhood, and close 24/7 grocery store if you need drinks or snacks (Marcona almonds were less than €3!). We were able to walk everywhere from here. I can't wait to return and stay here again.

After being away from Madrid for well over 3 years, I was pleasingly surprised that the Artrip hadn't lost its touch. The rooms are nice, modern, and always super clean.  Walking distant from several cultural landmarks, the location is perfect. That said, the attention to their clients is second to none. Miguel and Robert went out of their way to accomodate last minute changes in travel plans. This attitude also shows in the front desk staff.  They are always courteous, friendly, and ready to help. You just can help feeling among friends when you visit the Artrip.

Fantastic hotel, great staff and super comfortable beds! Everything was clean and tidy in the room, the huge bed and amazing shower made our days in Madrid even nicer. The staff is super welcoming and you get a bottle to have free filtered water during your stay. A simple and super helpful courtesy. The location is good, near everything you need in a touristic trip, the subway is only some blocks away. Would totally stay here again.

My wife and I were on in Madrid for two nights, but Roberto and the other staff members made the stay. We arrived very late, about 2300, due to flight delays but Roberto was super helpful. The room was clean and the location was perfect.

Great location, a 2 minute walk from the Metro. Our room is fantastic. After a series of small sized rooms, it was wonderful to stay in this spacious room. The staff have been incredibly helpful from giving us plenty of locations to visit, to assisting me with naseau and simple remedies to help clear it up. Would highly recommend and definitely would stay here again

The best hotel we have ever stayed in! The rooms were very nice and clean (we had the attic room that was wonderful), the location is great - not directly in the main tourist centre but still quite near in a neighborhood with plenty of authentic bars and restaurants. The breakfast was also great for the price. Though the best thing about this place is definitely the staff that was incredibly nice and helpful and made our stay in Madrid just perfect. Thank you!

Cute, tiny, modern hotel with lots of nice little touches. Super helpful and friendly front desk person. Comfortable beds, decent breakfast. Jr suite is a nice size with a couch and cool bathroom with double sink and separate rooms for shower and toilet.
