    Took more than month and several visits to get a refund. Edit: Order made by one of my friends and I came there with him asking for a refund several times and got the refund after more than one month. I didn't buy anything because of the experience.

    Worst customer service. They are scamming people after covid. Website works fine and allows you to place orders but phone line hasn't been working for the last 2 months. But the refund was never processed and I've been trying to contact them ever since but the phone line never works. Its understandable to have some delays but this is just a scam. Never buy anything from here you're never going to get the product.

    One of the worst customer service I have come across. It’s been more than 2 months since I wrote to customer care and they are still getting back to me. I have now found that their margins are far too high, they invariably deliver the wrong item, no invoice, no guarantee cards and no response. Do think twice before you buy from this site.

    Update: after 10 days, received an email saying product is out of stock, and no mention about refund or anything. This is such a horrible experience! The worst online experience so far. Their website works fine, orders go through, and thats it. There's no way to contact them on phones, the automated recording says they are closed... at any given time. Their email responses are slow, mostly, its been more than the estimated number of days since I've placed the order- and got an email from their customer care agent a couple of days ago saying they are processing. Completely unacceptable, and honestly, a waste of my time. Wish I hadn't ordered with them.

    EDIT: Finally, received the refund after so long later. EDIT: Received one refund, now waiting for the refund of second order. EDIT: Takas called, and said they refunded my money back. I am waiting until I receive it. Will see. !! The previous guy was right. Takas is scamming our money nowadays by using covid as an excuse. They owe me 14623 LKR. I called multiple times, they didn't answer except once, then they said to send my fan, and the refund of another product I purchased and cancelled after a bit later. It has been a just over a week now, since they answered my call, but still I didn't get my money back.! The unbelievable thing is It has been 3 months now since I made the purchase. I called them many times, I messaged them over facebook, I opened multiple tickets, I emailed them, but everything was not given a SINGLE reply except the aforesaid answer to my phone call a week ago, and one facebook message stating to call them like a couple of weeks ago, but that's it.!! I didn't get my fan, and I didn't even get my refund. They are holding my 14623 LKR For SO LONG now. This is completely unacceptable. I have never experienced something like this from any eCommerce website in sri lanka. Covid is not an excuse, because if they couldn't deliver, they could have refunded the money.!!

    I made an order and paid with my card last year in January. I didn't receive the order but an email asking for my opinion on the delhvery. I opened a ticket on the issue as I had not received the item and after many tried got a rep to refund the money. They mentioned that the item was shipped again and a refund wasn't sure. Its April and I'm yet to receive the item or a refund. Absolutely horrible service and completely. disappointing.

    Good communication and a genuine product. I am happy with the deal. Only concern is, once I preferred to select 'Bank Transfer' I wasn't informed or guided to what was the next step, how to do payment and how to showing proof, in a clear way. Other than that there's nothing to worry about.

    Bought a TV. It was delivered within 24 hours to Trincomalee. Unfortunately it had issues in it(Black color wide vertical line appeared on the center of the TV). However their team managed to send a replacement within 7 days and arranged a courier pickup to return faulty one. Had pleasant experience with their customer support(Especially thanks to Amjath!).

    Worst experience ever!!!!!will never recommending this place to anyone..😑😑 I ordered a engine oil can and made the payment for the price they have displayed on the website. After few days they called me back and said that the supplier informed that the product is not available And asked me to pay the additional amount or to cancel the order and get the refund. Since that was not my fault, I cancelled the order. It's almost been a month since I cancelled the order and they still have not made my refund. Please remember that you are dealing with other people's money and keep your word!

    My order was cancelled by takas due to unavailability of the product and they have not returned my money and it has been 3 weeks since the order had been cancelled despite having constantly calling and emailing their customer service representatives. I will not recommend and I am regretful about having ordered from them.

    I ordered a web cam and I got it within 2 working days. Delivery was fast. very good product and a quality cam and affordable price. I am very happy with the product. I tried tracking my order and it was said its completed but in my account dash board it was still processing. pls look at this issue. Other than that good service and I recommend others this online store for quality products.

    This was my first order and really disappointed due to some reasons 1. Tracking is not accurate. 2. Late delivery. 3. I had to call several times and each time from you end said that will call back and never happened. 4. Have to hold for along time to get connected for a customer service officer at your end.     I was checking to buy an Electric Bicycle in Srilanka. There are only a few legitimate online shops that offer Electric bicycles with the latest features. Takas.lk is one of them. Initially I ordered from another online seller but they failed to deliver the product. So I sent a message to contact me. I was contacted by Amjath and explained all the details I should know before buying. Since I moved from Canada to Srilanka I had a Bank transfer payment method only. So I send the confirmation after making payment. I was new to this payment method because we don't have this option in Canada. We use PayPal or credit card payment methods. But talking with Amjath made me safe doing this type of payment. As I was doing all these, the product went out of stock. He explained they are going to contact the supplier in Srilanka to contact the Hero Lectro company in India to send new stock. So I made my payment on October 11 and received a sms that they started the process. They were in touch with me giving updates about my order. On November 1 afternoon I received a Hero Lectro Electric Bicycle by courier. What's cool about Takas is they did assemble it for me, so I could enjoy the ride right away. Due to the Sri Lanka situation it took 22 days but I'm sure they did their best to get me the E-Bike in the shortest time possible. It might get longer if I ordered from another seller. They offered a free Helmet, Front and rear light with Hero Lectro Electric Bicycle. I am very happy with Takas hoping to get more products from you in the near future. Thank you Amjath for assisting me with utmost patience.

    The worst online experince ever! Have been waiting or a delivery for almost 10 days and no updates at all. Might have called and sent messages to confirm the delivery and finally it was scheduled for today, But, got delayed by 3 days again, Amjath from Takas has the worst customer service. Makes me wonder if the company is clsoing down, since they don't seem to care anymore. Be careful paying in advance for any product. You might just loose your money.

    Worst experience ever!!!!! I ordered a rice cooker and made the payment for the price they have displayed on the website. After few days they called me back and said that the supplier informed that the price of the rice cooker has increased and what they have displayed on their website was there by mistake. And asked me to pay the additional amount or to cancel the order and get the refund. Since that was not my fault, I cancelled the order. It's almost been a month since I cancelled the order and they still have not made my refund. Myself and my husband called them several times but they just say something at that time for the sake of it and said several times that they would make the refund soon. Please remember that you are dealing with other people's money and keep your word!

    Takas is a Fabulous online company providing excellent service no other company comes close to Takas . They have the most amazing team (Mr Roshan and Mr Amjath in particular have always been extremely helpful ) , They somehow manage to deliver the order always on time sometime earlier than expected , very professional go out if their way to please their clients . I only use Takas.lk and I highly recommend Takas.lk to anyone who is looking for a genuine online company to send gifts from any part of the world !

    Placed an order because of the fast delivery time shown at the time of online ordering. After order confirmation a representative called to confirm the order and said delivery would be much later than shown online. I explained that I was leaving the country and only placed the order due to the delivery date and was willing to pick up rather than delivery, to which he confirmed. On the day i was supposed to pick up Takas called me to say item will be delivered, no need to pick up. However, the item wasn't delivered and i had to cancel due to this.

    Takas has to act more professionally when delivering items. If you cannot deliver items on time you should inform the respective party and not wait till they call and inquire. I was not happy with your delivery service.

    NEVER ORDER AN ITEM FROM SRILANKAN ONLINE SITES UNLESS YOU HAVE CASH ON DELIVERY OPTION. Ordered two items in a span of 2 years. both times failed to deliver the item. 1st time in 2018. ordered a sound card and failed to deliver. it took two weeks to say that the item is not available. latest on 2021. ordered a keyboard and still failed to deliver due to unavailability. Why do they advertise items when the items are already out of stock?gave 2 stars because this time they informed within a day.     I ordered a PC monitor, and it turned out that it was out of stock. This was completely fine, so I asked them to refund me the money to my bank account as I payed online - they ensured I will get the cash in 3 - 5 working days. The order was cancelled on Dec 23rd 2020, and it took them till Jan 13 to start processing the refund. I continually called during that period and they kept saying they have started the refund process. It was a complete lie. It was only till I threatened legal action that they actually did something. Pathetic customer service.

    Takas.lk Takas Recently i bought a "usb data cable" with 2 micro usb and a lightening. I used to charge my phone and ipad no issues. After a couple of weeks i wanted to connect it to my pc. Not recognized. Tried some friends' phone and pc. No use. contacted takas asked to return the item to the office. So did i. They said it is only for charging. I pointed out on the box it self that its written as data and charging. After about 30 mins warranty acknowledgement bill was given. For a week i didn't receive any response and even if i called, it was tomorrow or today will be delivered was the answer. tweeted the CEO as his email wasn't found anywhere. He replied and contacted through mails. Said he will replace and sort it out asap on dec 19. Called to check on the status, no one answered the call. No response again till 27 i.e. today. I went straight to their store and asked that where is the replacement?. Said to come after an hour to collect and so did i. When i went back kept me waiting for almost an hour while they sort out a barcode mismatch of their stocks. While waiting my friend who came with me fell asleep on the chair. He was asked not to sleep in the shop/office while they were enjoying their evening tea and cake, not processing the replacement. Finally received the replacement as two cables one lightning and other micro usb. Again the guy at counter swapped the micro usb cable from a drawer which was opened earlier. I didn't want to make a fuss about it and i badly wanted to check it there itself. Felt it might not be polite. Came to hostel tried the micro usb. Baaamm πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ it did not work either. I won't waste any single day on getting it replaced. Just wanted to share to warn you before making the same mistake. Never ever buy something from them. Well done Takas.lk πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

    *Reply to Takas: I blurred my personal information, I have emailed you the order number. Care to explain why a feature was marked over by a permanent marker in the box? Bought a Skullcandy headset from them and one of the features on the box was marked over with a black permanent marker. The headset was very flimsy as well. They seem to be selling Chinese A grade replicas while advertising that they sell genuine products only.

    *Reply to the seller response: when I took the headset to takas and complained of the base,even the rep said there's no base. Now takas is saying everyone checked and there was no problem as it worked well on an iPhone and that it may not support my OnePlus 7 pro. I've used countless JBL headsets and had faith in the brand because it always supported any device I used with it. Regardless of the product being Genuine or not it did not have any bass response. Funniest reply was the rep saying he's not a technician to say that the headset had bass or not and to take the word of the JBL supplier , even though he clearly said that there's no bass on the first day I returned the item! Initial complaint/review :Terrible service. Bought a Pure Base JBL headset that did not have any base at all. It took a week for them to tell me that it is only compatible with apple. Utter lies as JBL is a stand alone brand and works with any Android or apple product. Such a waste of 6000 rupees .

    Called in and wanted to check if it was possible to collect an item on the same day. Was advised it normally takes about 2-3 working days, however Amjad was very helpful over the phone and managed to get the delivery completed for pick up on the same day. The competitive offers and product range was topped by the excellent customer service. Keep it up :)

    I ordered two bosch wiper blades one of them called in two days and said one of it was the last piece they had and it was also damaged and they said they will have to cancel the order and its been 1.5 months but haven't got the refund yet. every time i call they keep saying they will send the reference number but nothing happens till i call again. What do i do with the reference ii can't use it has money. I have bought many items from the other online platforms but no one has done this. Professional level zero. VERY DISSAPOINTED.

    The worst experience ever. I've ordered a gift for my friend's son's birthday. These people delivered the gift exactly one month after the birthday. Very irresponsible company. As a person who lives in overseas these are the services we use for our convenience. It cost me just under Rs. 2000 worth of overseas calls to make them to deliver the goods. And tons of lying updates over the phone. Never using this website again. My advise for Sri Lankans in overseas, better to avoid these people because they take no responsibility in delivering goods on time and definitely it's gonna cost you more to call them and remind them to deliver your goods.

    I have informed takas.lk over the phone a couple of times that the laptop I have purchased does not have original windows as advertised. The response I get is to bring the machine to their office which hasn't been easy in the past few years and even at this current time. From the moment I placed the order, I have had issues, first i was informed that a blue laptop is available which is what i wanted, then they inform me that it will take time to deliver, after waiting for a long time, they call me and inform me that they do not have blue and it will be a gold machine. Then the machine you provide me with doesn't even have the activated software. I have been very patient when dealing with all these inconsistencies. But this is becoming extremely absurd that i have to deal with issues due their incompetence. it is also difficult to contact them via phone and nowadays the idea of travelling to their showrrom is also a task. Extremely dissapointed with this service.

    They cancelled the order placed last Friday saying that the seller wanted to increase the rate (they wanted us to pay them an additional 15k than the listed rate). They said I would get the refund by Monday, or Tuesday. They were not reachable unless they call us back. The account department number is always unreachable. Today, they said we would get the refund before 5pm. I did not get any feedback after that. Poor service and really disappointed and never recommend these frauds to anyone.

    Continuous i've being put through bad situations. 1st was last month purchasing a TV 50" and waited them to deliver it for more than a week. Considering paid in full and living nearby city to Colombo i wasn't comfortable with that. 2nd Ordered a induction cooker said to be available online, after few days they reported back with no availability and still after more than 5-6 days, waiting for me to get my money back as a refund is confirmed via email. Too many disappointments in a shorter span make me to avoid buy anything online from Takas from this moment forward. Not recommends to anyone too
