Love coming to this cafe for lunch, a snack or even breakfast. They offer different wraps and sandwiches that are also available as vegetarian. They have other milk options which is always nice. Always so friendly and inviting! I hope they stay open longer durning the summer months, would be perfect for an evening walk and a refreshing drink. (I added an image of their tofu breakfast wrap. So good and so filling!) UPDATE: I just recently got the avacado mozzarella sandwich and it was amazing!

Really good Chai lattes ❤️ just came here with my niece and mom for a coffee but we got a little something something 🫠 to go with our coffee. Highly recommend coming here for sure. If your into coffee and a walk by the river adjacent to here also a popular thing to do.

Cozy place, Tofu wraps was delicious you must try. We drove far away from North Shore, it had all been worthwhile.

I feel that this cool little shop with its cheerful service, excellent coffee and various food items has helped elevate this area a fair bit.... this little corridor of shops in Osprey village gives a very modern urban feel to it's visitors. Having direct access to paths along the river and through forest cover is a great way to spend a hour decompressing but make sure you bring something from Stomping Grounds with you. One suggestion might be extending hours of operation into the early evening during longer summer days might turn out to be a lucrative decision.

Beautiful setting, good coffee and great service... What else is there to say! Just wished it had been warmer inside... But we were in the middle of an Arctic storm.

I was in great need of an Americano to get through my son's baseball game and I stumbled across this gem of a coffee shop. Service was quick and efficient, prices were reasonable, and the breakfast wrap was delicious (even came with salsa and sour cream)! Definitely will make this a destination stop next time I'm out riding my bike.

What a cute little place next to Shoreline Park in Pitt Meadows. Idyllic surroundings and such tremendous ambience.. Ordered a Flat White and a Breakfast Bagel Sandwich… The Flat White was out of this world… The staff is very kind and polite… They have a limited menu but the food is very light and tasty.. Definitely coming back here again…

Good coffee in a quaint community of Osprey Village, stones though from the Fraser River, take a walk thru the woods after pick up a coffee at the stomping grounds.

Weekends are too busy. They can't handle the volume. Ordered a wrap (that was in display case). All they had to do was warm it up. IT TOOK 20 minutes. kind of ridiculous. 2 items from the menu weren't available. And then they take 20 minutes to warm up a wrap? Next door, there is a much nicer place with excellent food, with very nice owners, that is not a zoo like Stomping grounds. I always get frustrated. Now they lost my business. Not that they'd care...

Delicious carrot muffins, and coffee. Hope to go back. The selection of baked good seems pretty extensive. Didn't get a chance to see if there was more to the menu yet .

Tried the grilled cheese and Mozzarella avocado sun-dried tomatoes sandwich with pesto, they were both amazing. The tropical Mango was not as expected though, but it was ok. The place was super hot. We didn't eat inside.

Was looking forward to getting a hot drink yesterday, but. when the guy making drinks didn't even acknowledge the customer in front of me and after waiting several minutes for at least apologizing for the delay, I walked out. It looked like there was one person in the kitchen preparing food and one guy out front. The cafe wasn't particularly busy. I get it - short staffed, or whatever, the least the barista could have done was looked up for a second and acknowledge the customers waiting in line. Not impressed.

Such a cute place, great location and easy parking. Staff was friendly and the coffee ( Caramel macchiatos) we’re so delicious. I got a grilled cheese, and my friend got a veggie bagel. The bread tasted very fresh. The building is pretty small so limited seating if it gets busy. But super cute cafe and look. Great experience

Im my opinion, this is one of the best neighborhood cafe in the city area. It is quiet yet cozy . The Club Panini with juicy chicken breast was delicious. My favorite place in Tri-Cities area for hangout on weekends or a sunny afternoon.

Loved this place, and the location! Coffee was great, breakfast bagels were delicious. Parking can be a bit limited in the village at times but that just means you get to go for a lovely stroll in a beautiful neighborhood.

  • 5/5 Mike A. 1 year ago on Google
We went for a walk on the nearby trails then stopped for lunch at Stomping Grounds where we had the Osprey Panini and latte. Both were delicious. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed the amazing location. Highly recommend the Stomping Grounds Cafe & Bistro for the food and atmosphere.

The place/neighbourhood was cute. The quiche was bland and crustless, but the coffee was tasty and the pastries looked good. Reasonably priced. Enjoyed my treat by the water which is right by the cafe.

Love stomping grounds and been many times although my last visit was disappointing had my usual kale and cheese scone delicious with coffee there were no regulart cups had to use to go cup even tho we ate in ??? requested some butter was told there wasn't any !!! The male server had long hair not tied up flipping it over often.. thought this was required when working with food?? also there wasn't any paper towel to dry hands in the Bathroom.. all in all seemed very unorganized, hoping for a better outcome next visit because I will be back..... love those scones!!

    Great sandwiches!

I have gone there to have a cafe mocha several times over the last few weeks and everytime they have no whipped cream. I questioned the staff and they said they have not brought all the food and supplies back. It is a very simple thing to have even a spray can of whipped cream on hand to put on these specialty coffees. Yet they will not do that so I refuse to buy one there and go elsewhere.

Just wondering if a customer number system would be a better option for this cafe. The coffee there is really amazing and the food is quite good, however two different customers incorrectly retrieved my long awaited order. One was sipping on my Mocha Frappe and another picked up my sandwich! I was not impressed since I was waiting at least 15 minutes prior. Just a thought. Sorry, three stars for service.

Great location by the Fraser River. Unique panini sandwiches that set this place apart from the chains. Friendly staff and fresh coffee.

  • 2/5 Brandee M. 6 years ago on Google
I'll give them one star for their drinks and one star for SOME of their staff. We came in for weekend brunch and were disappointed. Started off with a scowl when I asked for no foam on my latte. Ordered the French toast which was sopping soggy and dense. Also had the huevos a la rabona. I found it strange they did not ask how we wanted our eggs done. So I shouldn't have been surprised when they came out undercooked/slimy. We weren't fans of the toast or the spices on the potatoes either. All in all it was an unfortunate bad food experience for us. But nice place to stop for a drink after a walk along the river.

Cute cafe conveniently located in Osprey Village. Great variety of food and good lattes. My favorite is their crustless quiche with salad. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff.

A hidden gem for sure!! Drinks are made well, food is delicious and the service is always excellent. Osprey village is such a welcoming and cozy neighborhood, we come from Poco just to sit and have coffee here and enjoy the atmosphere.

Such a nice place to hv a cuppa or simply relaxing meal! Wednesday Mocha 12oz @$3 only, crustless quiche came beautifully plated and warmed, delicious! Banana loaf slice was a surprise! I usually don’t really order banana bread but today I had to pick between this and vegan brownie, glad that I’d made the right choice!!

Their Spanish coffee is a delight. Good service, location and ambiance. A cozy place to hide in on a gloomy/rainy day while still giving you a nice view of the nearby greenery and water. Great for enjoying a meal or coffee with friends and family.

Busy esp on weekends, took a while to get our coffee. May not have a lot of choices for foods but ok if you just want a coffee while strolling around the neighbourhood. The view around the area is amazing but I wouldn’t come here just for the coffee.

My son and I go "cafe hopping" every Friday morning. I suggested we go here and he said the coffee was "meh". We went anyways cause I love the location. We both ordered the large cappuccinos and they tasted like hot milk with a dash of espresso. I mentioned to the barista that our coffee's tasted weak and she said " oh for customers who like a stronger taste, we recommend the 12 ounce" So I said "well doesn't the large have an extra shot?" She said no , it just has more milk! Seriously???? So the extra cost just got me 4 more ounces of hot milk??? No wonder it was so disappointing? I will say the baked goods were great but i won't go back for the coffee.

The two ladies working when I came in were wonderful! The moment I got in they got super packed but they kept it going. I got 2 hot chocolates and 2 grilled cheese to go and it was YUM! I only give it 4 stars because the prices were (in my opinion) a little expensive.
