Fantastic lamb and beef gyro sandwich. The fries are perfectly salted. They also have bottle coca-cola with cane sugar better than that high fructose corn syrup! The service is speedy and efficient. Perfect for a quick lunch if you are working busy hours like I am.

This beef gyro reminded me Madrid, where I ate my first gyro ever like 17 years ago. I really enjoyed every bite of it. Meat very juicy and flavorful. The wrap soft as it should be and fresh veggies. It was sunny day, perfect weather so in general a great experience. Highly recommended for a quick byte!!!!

Best Mediterranean food in town! The shawarma wrap reminds you of home :) I love mine with garlic paste and pickles only and no can do it better than Charlie’s Gyros🔥 They are so generous in general and with portions too! I was pretty underwhelmed eating here, especially after reading a lot of the other reviews. Having lived in and traveled quite a bit in the Middle East and in Greece I was pretty underwhelmed with this Gyro. I felt like the meat wasn’t really anything that outstanding, and it wasn’t flavored that well. The other ingredients were also just OK. The fries were probably the best part, given their seasoning. The service was great and I liked the cleanliness of the restaurant and the seating that they had outside. I don’t think I would go again neither would I likely recommend this place. But it is very reasonably priced so that was nice.

Charlie’s Gyro in Huntington Beach is great, a very nice location very close to the pier, the selection of Mediterranean food is nice and tasty, the portions are good and the chicken shawerma is very tasty, also the spicy dipping sauce is on fire, the fries taste awesome specially with the spices they use

My friend took me to this place first thing I landed in LA. Great decision! Uuuh the chicken gyro was so good. Loaded with juicy chicken that was cooked to perfection. The sauces were great too, especially the spicy sauce if you can take the heat. Another friend got the falafel gyro and loved it too. My cravings intensify as I write this review.

Great authentic Middle Eastern style gyro food options. I got the rice bowl with lamb meat and added green sauce. Absolutely delicious! And the green sauce was spicy and unique. The front of house man Abraham is very friendly and his cook did an amazing job preparing our food. Definitely worth revisiting in Downtown HB.

Great location along Main Street with casual seating overlooking the area. The food is spectacular! Authentic flavors and great variety of sauces which enhance every bite you take. We had the Chicken Gyro and the Lamb and Beef Plate. Both were great portions and filling. Charlie is friendly and truly passionate about what he does, making it an even better experience! I wish I lived in the area so we can go back often.

Wow!!! Delicious and you gotta try the garlic sauce🤤🙌🏽 I was really surprised with how well the garlic sauce tasted. The gyro was fresh and fries were hot. Charlie had great customer service checking in on the customers and serving them their food. I love the ambiance and atmosphere of the chill outdoor seating area. I’ll def come back here for my gyro fix and for some more of that yummy garlic sauce. Oh and the baklava is home made!!! Thank y’all! I highly recommend.

Great Greek food. Friendly helpful staff. Prices just right. One of the best Greek places I've ever eaten. It's a special place. The dolmas were my favorite ever.

Had a plate with lamb & beef $20 total with tax & drink LOVED it (also comes with 2 peta bread)

Came here around 9pm on a weekend and the owner took my order. He was so friendly and answered all of our questions and helped us with our order. He makes you feel like a family friend. The food here is fresh and they prep as the orders come. Hummus and tzatziki is to die for! Super yummy, filling (even had leftovers). I’ll be back soon! 🫶🏼

So, so, so good! Gyro Item #1 on the menu and baklava equals my happy place. Ever feel like doing a happy dance in your seat? I do. Here! The fries are the really good thick ones you can’t find just anywhere. Every time I fly in from Plano, Texas you will find me walking in. Gotta get my fix don’t I? LOL

It tasted really good but there was something off about it and I didn’t finish it. This was on 6/18/22 the next morning I woke up puking my guys out and ended up with food posing from this place. Also when we were about to leave we noticed that the lamb and beef was completely frozen and they put it in front of the flame that way to cook it! Would not recommend this place!

Awesome food. We tried the chicken shawarma and the lamb and beef giro. It was great. The fries that come with it were delicious too. One of the employees even came out to see how was everything. Great experience. 👍

If you’re in the area wondering where to eat, look no further. Walking through we decided to stop and eat and happy we did. Food is incredible and fresh. The owner, what a personable and friendly guy! Came out and spoke to us at length. Had us try his fresh made hummus which is incredible. Just an outstanding place to eat!!!
