Amazing place you have to be there to understand. If you like the 18 to 19 century this place is for you. I love it.

Stunning place. Being ballroom dancers, we stopped on a Friday morning just on the chance that we could see the place. Doors were unlocked, so we entered. Don't try the stairs... use the elevator. The facility is used mostly as a rental venue for weddings, and was being set up for one tomorrow. The manager, Craig, greeted us and not only welcomed us for photos, which he took, but gave us a tour which included the backstage door upon which two workers had recorded their ratings of musicians almost a century ago. The floor in this place is phenomenal. Rated by Lawrence Welk as the most comfortable dance floor in the world, due to its 1x6" boards (on side so the surface boards are 1" wide & 6" deep) twice suspended, the floor is circular. Unlike any I have ever seen. They have public big band dances 6 times yearly. We have put it on our bucket list. The ceiling has starlight optics and a moon. Check the photos on their website. Great time at the Indiana Roof Ballroom during their Big Band Dance Series. Performing was Lonny Lynn Orchestra. Ballroom dancing included swing, rumba, waltz, tango, foxtrot and the cha cha. Band was very good, wish they were better at announcing what type of dance was next. Maybe 60-70% of the time there was an announcement. At times it was a bit crowded and chaotic. Beautiful location, definitely go if you enjoy Ballroom dancing!

It's a beautiful venue for events. The food and drinks are always great. Pictures are of the desserts since I forgot to take pictures of the salad and entree.

I competed in a ballroom dance competition to raise money for Riley Children's Hospital, and this was the venue. It was perfect. Beautiful ambiance, great bar, very convenient to get ready next door in the embassy suites which is directly attached. So no need to go outside. Excellent location for a wedding for the same reasons, your guests can stay and embassy suites and walk right over to the ballroom. It has a sort of Italian filled with the design around the circumference of the roughly circular ballroom.

Our convention went here for a dinner event. It was a lovely venue. The theming/ambiance was awesome! And the food was amazing! The cheesecake and the chicken dish that were served were top notch!

An absolutely beautiful and iconic event space. They simply don't build this kind of place anymore. The staff, food and service were exceptional. If you have the opportunity to attend an event here, by all means go!!

Well laidback event hall with architectural craft of old, fashioned after homes under the sky in the dark. It’s so beautiful

Spectacular ballroom with stellar staff. Our Casino Night Christmas party was a great event. The carnitas in the taco bar were some of the best I've ever had, and I'm from Texas. The mashed potato bar was fun too. Great appetizers and desserts... just a fantastic place if you're throwing a really nice event.

Our annual banquet is always done at the Roof. They are the best, our group averages 600 plus.

One of a kind venue! Beyond the wonderful ambiance, the service team is incredibly impressive. Attention to detail is A+!

Beautiful was head here it was fantastic, lots of room and the people were great help. It was handicap accessible and so nice to be able to get around without worring about falling.

Excellent staff; very clean; nostalgic & classy!!! I left my cellphone in the restroom. They not only found it but made arrangements on a day they were closed, for someone to meet me to return it. I was impressed!!
