This right here is the most authentic place for New Orleans style cuisine and culture this side of the Mississippi River!!!! If you're a local, you know, if you're passing through Lakeland, STOP HERE!!! Every single thing on the menu is absolutely delicious. The She Crab soup is a must! Definitely order a Hurricane or Blue Margarita! The Grit Cake, whew, just do it. Natalie our server for our party of 12 was absolutely perfect! She was bubbly, had fantastic suggestions, on top of it with drinks, food was perfect and the bread/butter they give you will make you drool in anticipation.

If you're looking for great New Orleans cuisine, Harry's is a place you should definitely check out. Their menu has a lot of great options and everything we had was delicious.

This place was excellent! We were seated right away, and our server Brittney was fantastic from beginning to end of our meal. The bread they brought to the table was fresh and warm with just the right amount of crust to it. The butter had some type of herb added to it and was really tasty. I had the Andouille Grouper with a side of Red Beans and Rice...10/10 recommend this dish. Another member of our group ordered the Chicken and Grits. Her comment was that it was "Phenomenal". Gumbo was also ordered. It was quite tasty. So many choices on the menu that I want to try, so I will have to visit again before leaving Florida!

I ordered the red beans and rice with sausage....my daughter ordered the shrimp scampi...both were very tasty...New Orleans style food and drinks. We both had Hurricanes. Our waitress Christine was very nice...a happy person who was very helpful. My only complaint was my white rice was a little overcooked in some spots...crunchy...but I can imagine how busy the cooks are....the bread was awesome and soft. Oh...by the way...Happy Hour is every day....even weekends.

You cannot make a mistake on your order. EVERYTHING IS GOOD! from the bread and butter to the dessert. I recommend calling ahead for seating because thereโ€™s usually a wait on weekends. Tonight I had and recommend the Grouper Fingers with the most amazing tartar sauce and Jambalaya as my entree. **New edit: The last two times I have visited, the service was absolutely awful! Both times they forgot my appetizer or beverages including alcohol. The dishes are spicy, so timely refills are important. They completely forgot I ordered appetizers and my friends bar beverage. At one point I flagged our waitress to remind her of our beverages and she told me we just have to wait because she was very busy. They tried to bring the missing appetizers at the end when I asked them to make sure it wasnโ€™t on the bill. Who eats an appetizer after the meal?? One of the times, I asked to speak with a manager, who approached the table with a bothered attitude. Again, the food is amazing, but the service is a hit or miss. I also do not recommend any of their alcoholic beverages. My friends always complain about them.

First and foremost shout out to our server Brittany!! We went today for my motherโ€™s birthday ๐Ÿฅณ and her attention to detail and friendliness was top notch โค๏ธโค๏ธ Thanks Britt. Now for the food- this was our first time here and we all agree to return soon to try more items on the menu . First round appetizers lol ๐Ÿค— we had the boudin balls and fried green tomatoes ๐Ÿ… absolutely delish and we devoured

I like the location and the outside really calls for attention. The inside is ok, looks more like an Irish restaurant and it smells like mildew. I love Cajun and I love seafood and I really love Jambalaya but not from here. I have to say it looked and tasted disgusting, the absolute worst I have ever had!!! The shrimp, I'm fairly certain were in a stage of rot and the chicken tasted like cardboard. The bartender was awesome and had a really good time with some local patrons, otherwise I would have given it a 1 star. I will try it again and update my review if necessary!!!

Very busy restaurant with fantastic food. Iโ€™m so happy to find a gem like this in Florida. We came to the Polk Theatre for a movie and wanted to grab a bite to eat. Our server Kayla was on top of everything even though the entire restaurant was full. I was as really impressed. Not only was she kind, she remembered all of our drinks and refilled them. The stuffed shrimp was pure heaven. My motherโ€™s rib eye was cooked perfect and my father raved about the Redfish. As a Hispanic Iโ€™m picky when it comes to beans and rice, but this place did them perfect. Iโ€™ll be back for sure!!!!

Great little spot close to the square. It's deceivingly bigger on the inside than I thought. We sat on the patio. It was a busy Sunday but our server kept checking in on us and the food came out in good time. The fried green tomatoes were good but I have had better. The crab cakes were good and I opted for a side salad. Everything was good but nothing wowed me. I'd still come back! There are plenty of things on the menu I'd like to check out.

Every dish ordered was hands down amazing! The bread and spread was the best Iโ€™ve ever had at a restaurant. The service was also immaculate. Be sure to come here if you want an authentic taste of New Orleans.

I meet my employee here as he lives in Tampa and I in Orlando area and it's a good midway point for both. The lunch meals are very good. Service is very good. I would definitely return her for a business meeting, may even come out here some night with my wife for dinner too.

Excellent meal. Our first time here. The service was outstanding. The establishment was very clean. Was no problem finding parking right across the street on a Sunday afternoon around 5:00 pm. If we return to this area weโ€™ll likely be back. Highly recommended.

This was a recommended restaurant by Lakeland locals, so we decided to try it out. The interior gave an ambiance of a candlelit dinner and the menu was very appealing to all palettes. We ordered the Jambalaya, Blackened Shrimp and Grouper w/ French Fires and Coleslaw, Chicken Jolie Blonde w/ Smashed Potatoes, She Crab Soup, Cresent City Cobb, Crispy Calamari, and the Chocolate Ganache Cake. Portion sizes we well worth the price and enough to share among two people per plate. The food was well seasoned and very flavorful; we had a great experience and would definitely recommend that you visit when in the Lakeland area! Jambalaya: โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜† The Jambalaya was very flavorful with the right balance of salty, spicy, and rich! The portion was more than plentiful and almost takes you back to New Orleans. Blackened Shrimp and Grouper w/ French Fries and Coleslaw: โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜† This dish is absolutely delicious and a seafood-lover's dream (although we did expect there to be more shrimp for the price). Chicken Jolie Blonde w/ Smashed Potatos: โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜† The chicken was perfectly cooked and not dry as restaurants generally make it! The sauce was rich and added a perfect balance to the dish! She Crab Soup: โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜† Perfect mixture of sweet and spicy! There was plenty of crab chunks in the soup and the seafood flavors were punchy and fresh; definitely a recommended place to enjoy this Charleston staple! Cresent Cobb Salad: โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜† The salad came in a huge portion that we shared among all four members in our party. The vegetables tasted fresh and each element was perfectly made for a delicious salad! Crispy Calamari: โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜† The flavor was good and the calamari was crispy; the sauce that came with was delicious as well! Chocolate Ganache Cake: โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜† The cake was most, but a little too sweet and not as rich as expected. The vanilla sauce that came with it was to die for, though!

Wow just wow. I've heard so much about this place, but oh wow. This place is aaahhmnaazziinnngggg. From the location, to the ambience, to the food taste and service. Just simply put in words I can't to wait to go back. Shout out to the bar combo Ashley & Ashley , God bless you. Regardless of how busy you were, you guys stayed on point with being attentive, friendly and all that through genuine smiles on your faces.

Here from out of town and decided to go into Harry's! The service was pleasant. There was a wait since they were so busy and they offered us to get drinks from the bar and can drink on the street while we wait this was fun since we did not have to be crammed into the bar! Once seated our Server was very attentive, answered all of our questions and even though they were so so so busy he was very pleasant and we liked the energy he had! The food was really good, if you cannot handle spices remember this is New Orleans inspired so it is SPICY! All great!

One of our favorite spots after moving to FL, just wish it were closer! We just had another great meal and had to leave a review. First, our server, Jaime G, was awesome. Very attentive and friendly. She refilled drinks before we could even ask and checked in several times during our meal. We ordered off the special Mardis Gras menu for February and everything was excellent. My wife and I shared everything and still took home leftovers. The Bayou style Scotch eggs were perfectly cooked and not too spicy. The Low Country Pasta is bursting with flavor. One of the best pasta dishes weโ€™ve ever had. Last but not least, the banana creme brรปlรฉeโ€ฆoh my. The manage of 2 great flavors and the texture of the custard is perfect.

Out of all my years living in POLK . I have never been here. As we was walking downtown we noticed this spot. I fee like its a hidden gym. I wish there were more of these restaurants around. Food is awesome, drinks were amazing, and the service was outstanding. Prices were reasonable. They also have Happy Hour. 2 ppl entrees & 4 alcoholic drinks, & a reg drink our total was under $60. There bread and garlic butter that they serve as an appetizer is to die for. I will be visiting this place more oftenโ€ฆ.now that i have found them and enjoyed it. Perfect place for a date night. The lightening is just right.

Visiting from out of town, specifically Baton Rouge Louisiana and was referred to this amazing spot! We had the Chicken Jolie Blonde & the Shrimp & Grits and WOW! Phenomenal tasting food, beautiful plated presentation and great ambiance. Even as busy and packed as the restaurant was service was incredible. Our server Curtis was great and informative about menu options. We will definitely be recommending and will be back again.

Reservation for 5, 3 adults and 2 kids. They have menu and puzzle fold with crayons for children. Foods are great and served hot. Bread was so soft. My baby loves it, so we took left over home for his breakfast.

Since we first ate at Harry's almost a decade ago, we have found ourselves coming back again and again because of the tasty food and terrific service. Tonight was no different. The fried green tomatoes were cooked just right and our seafood entrees were so good. So, if you ever find yourself in downtown Lakeland one evening, do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant for a delicious meal.

Loved the steak medallions and shrimp but the waiter didn't give me a choice for the side they just automatically brought it out w fries and they were pretty soggy because of the sauce on the medallions. The fondue hit the spot!

First time going to this establishment, it was very busy. We were seated faster than the time given which was great. The atmosphere was pleasant. Started out with dip the cheese on top was burnt after stirring it up and took off some of the burnt cheese it was tasty, weren't expecting actual bread to go along with the dip. The crab cakes were delicious and the mahi too. I asked for mashed potatoes as an extra side which I never got. The server who brought out our food I mentioned it to her, never got it. I'm not sure if it was because they were busy or the actual server we had, had too many tables we didn't get the premier service I was expecting based on others review.

Moved to Lakeland not long ago and every time I've gone downtown I've noticed this place is packed! For good reason! Went here for date night and every single thing we ordered was made to perfection and tasted amazing. Our waiter Jacob was phenomenal, making sure our drinks were always full and we were taken care of. Everything ghere is scratch made and tastes of heaven. I recommend the chicken Jolie Blonde. I don't think I can get anything else on the menu, even though it will all be amazing!

Great Cajun dishes here in Central Florida! Look at what we ordered. The place is nice and clean. The decor reminds of New Orleans. The service was excellent. The price is reasonable.

We greatly appreciate our server, Brandy, she offered great service, was very attentive + not at all pushy. We don't eat out much due to feeling rushed to eat fast, this is not the case at Harrys. Shrimp & Grits and sides were good. Only complaint is the mash potatoes didn't have any "mash" to them, were rather hard, but still a good meal overall. I love bread & butter also, I'm sure I'll return

Fantastic place! Food & drinks are phenomenal! Very friendly atmosphere. On busy evenings (Friday, Saturday AND Sunday) youโ€™ll want to call about an hour before arriving & get your partyโ€™s name on the list. The bar seats, however, are first come first serve so if you get lucky to sit there, itโ€™s full service and Nicole & Savannah are FABULOUS ladies!! You wonโ€™t regret coming here!!

Hubby and I had shrimp and grits and crawfish etouffee respectively. Both were amazing, service was great, very attentive. Wonderful experience. If you like Cajun, it doesnโ€™t get better outside of Louisiana.

I just wanted to compliment Angel on our dining experience. Angel was very energetic, accommodating, knowledgeable and naturally hospitable. I do have one complaint that has absolutely nothing to do with Angel. My shrimp and grits were cold. I did not mention it to him, he was such a good worker and honestly I think he would've felt horrible. We could use more young adults like him. We left him a tip, gave him positive feedback and we each encouraged him to keep up the good work.
