When you arrive and if the door is locked that means the guide is assisting someone else in the art room. There will be a number on the door for you to call and someone will come out and assist you. Before entering the art room you have to swap your shoes for socks that they provide if you didn’t bring any. We had so much fun taking pictures here! Didn’t feel rush one bit and most of the time we was on our own taking pictures on our own pace. The guide will jump in between here and there and help take pics of me and my daughter. There’s a sticker on the floor to guide you where to stand to get the right angles. The guide is always there to assist if you have any questions too. Even if you go alone the guide will be your photographer! Entrance is $600 MXN Pesos. Plenty of parking in the lot for a small fee.

My husband and I had a great time visiting. It was not busy on the day we visited. We did not get the names of the employees, but they were awesome. They provided us with guidance on the best way to look at pictures as well as take pictures. It was extremely hot, so the air conditioning was an added benefit for the day.

The 3D Museum was so much fun! Better than I expected or even anticipated. The hosts were kind and very accessible to guest. There are plenty of tips to help you capture the best pics, but I recommend if you see a background you love then ask for assistance to get the quality and unique photo you desire! I suggest you change your camera settings to 3:4 for the best 3D effects. My setting was for full photo and you don't capture the full awesomeness until you do 3:4. To avoid ruining your experience I only posted 3 of my favorite photos! Family or couple friendly!

Myself and my husband decided to check this museum out while we were in playa del Carmen just out of sheer curiosity. When we first walked in I didn't know what to expect. We were asked to remove our shoes and wear nylon socks; this definitely made me wonder what we just got ourselves into. The guide took us to a room and we were surrounded by not-so-3D paintings- that is, until she had us look at them through our phone's camera. WOW!! Just like that! These pieces of art were brought to life. So cool! She explained to us how to find the right angle for taking photos and proper places to stand to be immersed in said photo, then left us to enjoy the experience on our own. It was a lot of fun! It was a tad tricky finding just the right shooting spot for a few though. Highly recommend.

Very unique concept but it’s more of 2 rooms installed with art to take pictures with. It’s not a museum. For $110 USD we got 2 adult tickets and 1 child. We stayed less than 30 minutes after taking a few pictures. I will note that the staff were nice. It’s half priced on Sunday.

This museum is a nice visit but so expensive (700 pesos per adult, 35 per child). After about 20 minutes we had seen all we needed. The art wasn't that great (it's just printed), you can take some funny pictures, but it's way to expensive for a 20 minute visit.

Wonderful experience. You can be creative with poses and interaction with each portrait. Many are faded, so will need to edit pictures if before they renew the scenery.

Amazing experience, not only was it a great way to get a break from the heat but also a nice way to enjoy more than just AC when stepping in off the strip, beautiful portraits and paintings with a cool visual twist, took over a hundred photos while in here, the staff was incredibly kind and even taught my wife and I how to properly take the photos for the full effect, extending that to taking some photos with both of us where we’d otherwise be unable to use our own phone and both be in it! 10/10 must see while in Playa

SUPER FUN! I just loved being there on a rainy day. Everyone there is super helpful and nice. Robert even helped with translation to a pharmacy technician nearby. Also they helped us take pictures inside. It's unique and fun, and definitely a must when visiting Playa Del Carmen.

One of my favorite museums so far. I love to take pictures and here there are lot of places where you can take interactive pictures in 3D. It’s great to explore it with the family. I went by myself and the girl that gave me the tour took all the pictures and I just tipped her. She was really sweet. You should take off your shoes to walk around not to damage the paints on the floor , they will give you disposable socks. The place is very clean and smells good and it’s big. They have around 38 paints. I will go again definitely

So much fun. Especially if you're sunburned and looking for San indoor activity. Priced just right at around $30 American each. Beautiful art to take great pictures in. We lucked out and a sort of guide was around to help take couples pictures. Tip him. He's super nice. A wonderful memory to have of this place. Definitely worth the time to see.

We visited on a Saturday and I highly recommend a visit to this museum, but do it on a day you are not tired. It was alot of fun posing for pictures with the family. Edgar was very helpful explaining the museum at the beginning and how to get the best camera angles for the 3D special effects. Very cool!

My 9 y/o son and I went and had a great time. They show you how to take the pictures and even took some for us so we could be in them together. It was very quite, not a lot of people( we went around 3ish on a Wednesday), the music was a nice level and air conditioning. If you or your kids have sensory issues this place is great to visit.

My partner and I stumbled upon this gem and we had an absolutely amazing time! The guide of the tour was really friendly and very helpful when giving advice on how to capture great images using certain angles and techniques. He also took some great pictures for my partner and I that will definitely go into our holiday album. Good value for money and a great experience, I couldn't recommend it enough!

It was an interesting smaller museum, can be done in under an hour if they are not to many people. You come some great 3d effects and some not so much. You will have some good pictures for Instagram, Facebook, or whatever you POST ON!!!

Great experience! We easily spent over 2 hours taking photos. It's a 3D experience, but using perspectives. So be ready for a small workout if you want to get the best angles and pictures

Wow, wow must go to this amazing museum you are part of it. The pictures are worth it and the guy is super helpful and explains very well! He walks you through on how to take the best pictures. Recommend if you are looking for something fun to do in doors

This was recommended to us from a friend, we were not too sure if it would be worth it. But we were pleasantly surprised, this is a really fun and interactive experience. I wouldn’t call it a museum, and to be fair they do say that when you arrive. Get ready to get your phone out and take a lot of photos, it’s a lot of fun trying to position yourself on the amazing art to get the best 3-D photo. The 3-D experience is really achieved through the photos you take, not when looking at it with your eyes. However, it is still a really cool experience walking around it. I highly recommend if you’ve got some time to drop in. Robert was a fantastic guide, showing us all the right angles, and had a great energy.

Great stop if you’re in the area (for a low cost). Numerous interesting paintings. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. You can’t wear shoes inside but stockings are provided. Instructions on how to get the proper 3D effect in your photos are also provided.

Quite fun, a little expensive for the time you might spend. We went around 11am and we’re the only visitors. Very well presented though, it really works.

This is a great place to spend a rainy afternoon in PDC. The entrance is very expensive, but the wonderful door staff gave my father a discount on entry because he’s a senior, and me a discount because I paid in cash which made it affordable - so nice! The woman who works there takes amazing photos, so grateful to her for our crazy panoramas! Thanks guys!

We visited on a Monday. It was very neat to see the 3 D paintings and be able to take pictures. It was hot though, I don't think the air was working. The woman working there was very help full and pleasant

The art was magnificent and incredibly detailed! Beautiful! Our guide Sandra was lovely as well, and taught us all the best poses to get the best pictures! Overall, a very positive experience and worth it if you enjoy art and taking cute pictures ❤️

A very unique experience. You literally become part of the painting. The artist has put together a delightful array of famous and original 3 D paintings. It's a fun adventure .

There is someone that will guide you through the exhibit and show you which angle/how you can take the pictures. There are so many different things. You will get all the illusion images you need since there are around 30-40 different stations. We went there later in the day before it closed so it was a very 1 on 1 personalized experience. And we even got a discount for paying cash. Highly recommended, hidden gem.

What a fantastic museum! Hector was kind enough to take some wonderfully fun pictures of us. We could stay as long as we wanted. Great time using our imaginations!

What a fantastic experience, a great way to spend a few hours testing perceptions and having fun. We went as a couple and basically had the place to ourselves. Staff were super helpful and even took photos of us both.

We really did not expect such a strangely interesting gallery. I don't even know how to describe it. It's a very good feeling, it's like you're in several places at the same time😀. We'll definitely get together and the best recommendations👍

😐 Overall a great experience but the waiters insistence on a above 20 percent tip really left a sour taste at the end. They have great drinks and the location is great.
