Seriously the best! We’ve been diving and doing excursions with Seth Dive for five years now and it’s ALWAYS the highlight of our trip. He has tough both our boys (13 and 10) to dive and has a vast amount of knowledge of the best non-tourist spots. He is all about safety and we trust him while-heartedly. Always sad to say goodbye but know we will be back next year for some more frat adventures. If you’re more of a craft beer type bar. Commercial bud, this is your guy. He will work with you to make your dream excursion and will do so safely, professionally and with a whole lotta fun!!

What a great find! On a whim, I sent a message the night before to see if there was any availability for the next day for our family of 4, and Seth made it happen. Our guide, Gastón, picked us up the next morning and took us to a beautiful cenote that wasn’t overrun with crowds. He let us explore at our own pace, and his knowledge of the geology was extensive and made the experience even more enjoyable. Lunch was fantastic, and the private ride to and from our hotel (provided by Gastón) was a great perk. Highly recommend!

A-MAZING! We thought the reef dive was good, but diving the cenotes with Seth was on another level. Once again, top service from the team, and he even took us to the Tulum ruins after the dive. When we got to the Cenotes, we were the only ones there making it even more special. If you want to dive in the cenotes, this is the place to do it

Seth is awesome! I was a bit nervous about doing my first Cenote dive but Seth made me feel very safe and relaxed during the dive. And I'm so glad I did it! The cenotes were incredible! It's so different to sea diving, if you have a chance to come and do it then do. Thanks Seth, I'll be back!

We took two trips through Seth while on vacation at the Riviera Maya. The ratings we saw were well deserved. Seth sets up amazing private experiences with more of a local feel and keeping one away from the crowds. First trip was a cenotes cave dive and we went to a spot with minimal tourists and an amazing experience. We were led by Gaston who is a former geologist and diving aficionado who knew everything about the caves. We also had a local Mexican lunch we had picked up and ate after the dive. It was delicious. Gaston ensured that we were well cared for, answered all our questions and more and was just a great guy. Trip two we took to snorkel at Porto Morales which has some top notch reefs. We saw all sorts of fish including barracuda and a stingray. We were lucky enough to have Gaston again and he took us for a local lunch at an amazing and authentic taco spot. I would highly recommend Seth’s dives. He works with you to put together tours that will leave you incredibly satisfied.

Had a great 2 days diving—one day cenotes and one day ocean. This group is organized and communicative. They will text the day prior via WhatsApp to coordinate and picked us up right from our resort. Will be diving again with them next time we visit.

THIS IS A DIVE SHOP I WANT TO DIVE WITH!!! Love of diving and safety....first...last and everything in between!!! Seth Dive Mexico deserves a five star review and I have not met the man or dove with him...so how can he earn a five star review... Easy, I am in Cozumel for a dive trip and one of the dream dives I planned, was a couple of Cenote dives. I chose Seth's shop as he appeared to have the best offer of Cenote dives out of Playa Del Carmen. So I reserved a spot. Unfortunately, my first dive in Cozumel with heavy seas, I tore up my knee. I rescheduled with Seth with less than a days notice, He graciously booked me for the following week, although, by contract, could have kept my $100. Unfortunately, I could make the next dive as my knee was still in bad shape. I canceled, apologized and asked to keep my $100 deposit as I had canceled on him twice. Seth knew I dive here regularly and put $100 as deposit for my next dive with. his shop. That is a good man, he obviously puts his customers first, even while losing dollars. THATd IS A DIVE SHOP I WANT TO DIVE WITH!!! Love of diving and safety....first...last and everything in between!

Amazing experience! Seth responded right away and answered all my questions and I got to customize my trip with my best friend and daughters! Gaston took us to a quiet cenote, local quesadillas spot than a stop so my girls can get some souvenirs! The private tour and accommodations was amazing and way better than a hotel excursion! Highly recommend.

Great experience! Thanks to Seth and Gaston, we had a great trip. Gaston picked us up right on time. Gaston guided my family and I while we snorkeled Siete Bocas. He was well informed and answered all of our questions. From there we finished with tacos in Puerto Morales. Now the family is ready to step up to scuba, so I will be contacting them again in the future.

Seth no longer has a shop here- you’ll make other arrangements to meet up. We had an excellent booking and experience and I will be using him again, no questions asked. Hands down a top experience for us. Our guide was absolutely outstanding. Everything was perfect!

Found Seth Dive while on Spring Break vacation from Michign with family. I scheduled a cavern excursion for me (former instructor & full cave certified) and 16 year old daughter who has limited experience. Our guide was Demian selected Cenote Chac Mool. It was a wonderful and safe experience. Mom even had fun on surface watching the divers and enjoying a beverage. Had a great time and look forward to returning.

Everything about our experience was excellent! My Fiancé and I booked a trip to dive a Cenote near Playa Carmen when we were staying in Cancun. I am a licensed diver but my Fiancé had never dived before so we did a "Discover" session for her. Our guide Gaston picked us up personally from our resort and drove us to the Cenote, picking up a lunch on the way. It was about an hour to the Cenote (from the hotel zone of Cancun) but the time passed quickly as Gaston was able to share a lot of knowledge about the area (he's a knowledgeable diver and geologist!). I can't speak highly enough of Gaston's skills as a diving instructor. My Fiancé was initially nervous about trying scuba diving and in addition to creating a safe and fun environment to help her feel at ease Gaston also tailored his approach to the exercises to her needs, allowing for more time for her to acclimate to being under water before testing her on the exercises. Thanks to Gaston she enjoyed her time and will likely try scuba diving again!

Excellent experience from start to finish. I’m an advanced open water PADI diver but haven’t dived for 10 years. Seth was fine about this and suggested we do a cenote dive first followed by a reef dive a couple of days later. All the dives were incredible. The cenote dive was a cavern dive and totally otherworldly. We also did a deep drift dive on Moc Che Deep reef which was top notch. Our guide was Gaston who was hugely experienced and made the experience of diving after 10 years completely stress free and enjoyable. All 4 of our dives were just us and the guide.

I can’t say enough good things about Seth Dive Mexico. Starting from the beginning: Seth was incredibly responsive and thorough in all information provided. I booked the discover scuba program, as I had never done scuba before. My fiancé is five certified, and they made accommodations so we could go together. Our guide Gastón messaged the night before to confirm pick up at the hotel. He was so knowledgeable about geology, water, and scuba. He made me feel so comfortable to just enjoy. I almost had a panic attack during the shallow water practice but he took the time to calm me down, reminded me to just enjoy and took care of me to make sure I was okay. Very appreciative of making my first scuba session enjoyable so I want to do it again. Would definitely recommend Seth dive scuba and Gastón to friends and family.

I did the cenote dives with Seth’s outlet recently and it was incredible! The instructor he had did a really good job at the dive prep and made what was otherwise a pretty technical dive seem much easier. They also went really far out of their way to do the pick up and drop off which was very much appreciated in an otherwise logistically challenging part of Mexico. We also had a very small group (only two divers plus the instructor) which made the experience all that much more enjoyable. Will definitely book with Seth on my next trip to Cancun / Playa Del Carmen.

Hi Seth, Today was an amazing experience, so firstly thanks for persuading us to do the cenote dive, it was so different from and far exceeded our expectations. Secondly, Gaston was brilliant, as I’m sure you already know, without his confidence, training and leadership I doubt we’d have got much further than the entrance. Diving with the Seth dive crew was awesome! Me and my husband dove 3 days with Seth and his team. Dennis and Lorenzo were superb guides that made us feel totally safe, comfortable and having fun! Seth was quick and precise with communications. It was lovely to Deal with a Canadian to book everything. We dove in the cenotes, the ocean of playa Del Carmen and Cozumel. I would highly recommend!!

If I could give Seth Dive Mexico more stars I would have. The experience from start to finish was top notch. Booking the trip was easy through WhatsApp communication and PayPal. We dove with Rafael. First of all he and Seth were incredibly accommodating. Our flight got in super late the night before because of delays and they were able to push back our start time to give us a breather after arriving so late the night before. The dive experience that Rafael provided us was nothing short of spectacular. We did Kin Ha and Zapote Cenotes and each were great dives for their own reasons. Coming from someone who almost exclusively dives open water reefs, Rafael did a great job describing the dives and leading us through them at a comfortable pace. I will definitely be diving with Seth Dive Mexico the next time I make my way to Mexico!

I asked for the location, and Seth said it’s going to be a surprise and we are going to love it. Turned out to be an avg experience. Marriott hotel where we stayed had much exciting options for much cheaper price. We felt we got less for the bucks. The diver was very friendly, nice guy and he did not hurry and helped us explore.

After diving my first time in Hawaii i decided to get my open water certification. Seth came highly recommended by friends of mine and After Reading his reviews I knew I was in good hands. Everything was perfect from start to finish. I'm an avid scuba diver now :)

Discovery Dive with Rafa was AMAZING!! We went to Cenote Edén and Casa Cenote, and it was the most memorable time. Rafa was a wonderful instructor, very clear and very patient, awesome to have this experience with. Thank you Rafa, I can't wait to dive again!!! :)

Dove three days with Seth Diving and Julio Gregory as the dive master. All the days in the Yucatán Cenotes south of Cancun/Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Seth has great communication, great rental gear and everything required for a 5 star dive experience. Julio plays the best music and is very knowledgeable about the Cenotes near Tulum and Playa del Carmen. I highly recommend Seth Diving. Hope to be back soon to go diving with bull sharks!

This review is long overdue... went diving with Seth in December 2020. We dove Dos Ojos and a few other cenotes, as well as a bullshark dive. Seth is an excellent dive master, and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were satusfied with our experience. He is an extremely talented diver and there was not a moment where I felt unsafe or uncertain with him. I would recommend him especially if you're a reasonably experienced diver.
