Nothing special really. Not the place for you if you cant take spicy food as their sambal doesn't hold back. The staff highlighted that their specialty here is sambal, but you can also ask for other options like curry and butter. Make sure you indicate your preference of cooking option else everything will come with sambal as the default option. Perhaps if you love Sambal you may actually like this place. Otherwise after awhile it gets bland ans boring with sambal on everything. The Nasi Goreng was also average.

Seafood fried rice is cooked on a hot pan and wrapped in banana leaf. There's plenty of other choices of grilled seafood if you're craving for dishes like ikan bakar, sotong bakar etc..

Ok, now the Nasi goreng seafood eatery operates next to a small Vietnamese restaurant. Its actually hidden behind 7Eleven in Stulang Laut / the Zone area.... The seafood menu is quite reasonable and not so expensive like the Langkawi "siakap" dish.... Pick and choose your menu, the staff will weigh it for you, take a seat and enjoy your meal. Come early to avoid long queues..

Please note that the food is very spicy and I can actually take spicy food well. The nasi goreng seafood is nice. However, for other menu, they only have sambal. Sambal kerang, sambal udang, sambal kupang, sambal kerang, sambal sotong, ikan bakar with sambal. Not enough variety for the lauk. The sambal tastes nice but very spicy. We requested for kerang bakar or kerang rebus but they can’t make it. Can only make sambal kerang. If you like seafood and spicy food, I recommend this restaurant for you.

+ Signature dish nasi goreng seafood is just marvelous! Must try. + Multi choices of side dishes. - Location is just unbelievable.. you won't find it without a guide! - All sambal dishes are extremely hot & will spoil average KL lad's stomach.. just be careful! - Cleanliness is a bit questionable.. expect to dine beside a drain. - A tad pricey, but still acceptable for JB.

New taste experience after visiting JB for the first time. Imagine grilled fish marinated with sambal nasi lemak. The taste was so good and spicy. I love the otak otak and nasi goreng. Simple food with great experience. You should try!

Price was pretty ok and Sambal has a very nice 'kick' to it. Overall freshness of the seafood was good. You have to queue to order first before getting a table. Ordered Nasi Goreng, Otah, Crayfish and Stingray for 2pax; too much food. Please try the Mutton Satay if you are there, one of the best I have tasted!!

The fried rice is cooked over teppanyaki stove, very fragrant. The rest of the seafood are all bbq with sambal chilli. Beware it’s hot!

Came here with a group of 5 to enjoy some BBQ seafood. Reached here at about 6 plus on a Wednesday and there were still plenty of seats. To get a seat you have to order food, so 2 of us went to order the food at the seafood counter while the rest went to take a seat. At the counter there is a spread of seafood on ice and there is a board with the dishes and prices. However, everything is in malay and the staff doesn't seem to understand English, so we had a hard time trying to order. We ordered seafood nasi goreng, prawns, crayfish, bamboo clams, kang kung, sting ray, fried egg, and otah. However, we didn't know the cooking styles we can choose from when they asked. By default everything is sambal style So, we asked them to mix it up. We asked for garlic style prawns but it came as sambal. We asked for butter crayfish and it came with some soy sauce. Maybe that is the Malay style of cooking unlike the Chinese style that we were used to. Anyway the food was very good and I especially liked the nasi goreng. The rice was very fragrant and addictive and I would love to go there for it again. As for the seafood, although they were very tasty but overall they were very oily and I don't think I can eat it again. I would recommend this place to others if they want to avoid long queues for the famous ikan bakar tampin

Food as expected for the price paid. Mosquitoes infested dining area. Taste acceptable. Sambal is good. Should order for takeaway.

It was my first time visiting this restaurant. The dining area is very clean, and you can select your own seafood. For every portion that you have chosen, it will be plated as one set on banana leave. Love how the fried rice is wrapped in banana leave, too. The fried rice was tasty. But all the dishes, fish, crab, squid, snails, and bamboo clams came in the same sambal topping. That caught us by surprise because my children do not eat spicy food. The food and drinks came quickly. You have to pay once they come.

I was mistakely by the term “nasi goreng” that i knew in Singapore. I have to say, the seafood friend rice was amazing, the stingray was succulent, the clams was fragrant. However the star of the show, the grilled Otah, this one, i have no words, you have to try it for yourself. Definitely recommend!

Fresh seafood but come with a higher price tag. Sambal is spicy, and make sure they get a variety of cooking style, otherwise you would get spicy cooking style in almost all dishes.

Came here for the well-known fried rice. But personally not into my taste as it taste abit sweet. RM10 per set. Sambal fish is nice but spicy. Those who likes spicy food can give it a try. Total RM72, for two people.

Food is okay, fresh seafood, good level of spicy but the lady boss attitude is bad, as if you owe her money. Seafood is measure by weight, make sure to confirm when making order.

Still good food for me. Fresh seafood and reasonable price. Enough spice and spicy. Good portion and great service..
