June 2022, I am always trying to find a great Bagel Shop in South Fla, and I think I found one. All the staff who works there were so nice and helpful, plus the prices were reasonable. When you walk into the place you can smell the fresh hot Bagels. I ordered three Everything Bagels, with a small Chive Cream Cheese on the side, all for only $5.18 including Tax. When I arrived home and smeared the Chive Cream Cheese on the bagel and took my first bite it was like pure heaven. All I can say is YUM, YUM. I definitely will be back here in the future.

Me and my boyfriend love the sandwiches here. We always get a sausage egg and cheese bagel and put hashbrowns inside. The food is so good and I always look forward to eating from here. The only thing that I think ruins it for allot of people I've seen in the comments is the woman working up front. I get it we all have bad days but the costumer service and bad attitude they all have is depressing. I just go for the food because it's worth it to me but as far as customer service goes its not good at all. I'm giving this rating for the food!! This place really needs to rethink who works for them and start looking for different staff it seems to be turning allot of people down from every returning and that's a giant issue. Great food if you can handle the woman up front working. Really need to hire other people who seem happy to help and know how to treat people kindly.

If I can give this place zero stars I would. The staff, not even just one of them, all of them are outright rude. I also paid for a to go order, got home and it was all wrong. I decided to not go back and attempt to fix it, I could only imagine the response. My advice, stay away, go to Brooklyn Water Bagels or Einstein's. How these people stay in business is beyond me.

As a floridian who loves bagels these are by far the freshest best bagels i’ve ever had all their ingredients are so crisp and fresh and their cream cheese is the best i’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend

Never a miss here at Chesapeake! Atmosphere makes you feel like family, the service is 10/10, and the bagels are absolutely delicious. Stopped in today and felt very much pleased with not only my food but the happy faces of the employees delighted with helping fill my belly today.

Excellent doesn't explain how good this place is. A true hole in the wall find. I stumbled across this place with a co-worker in April and keep coming back. Traveling from Coral Springs as often as I can I truly enjoy this restaurant and can't wait until I am able to return. The selection is great, fresh, and I look forward to each visit. Coffee is always hot and offer a selection daily, bagels are exceptional and the pastries definitely worth a try. Worth the trip everytime.

Ive been to this place 4 times, and EVERY time consistently, I have had a poor experience with the staff. It's usually a rude employee who is annoyed because they had to show up to work that day or not getting paid enough to answer a question. I can not comprehend how basic customer service skills are lacking. The bagels are good, thats why I come back. Owner - if you are reading this, please make sure your staff is trained with basic customer service skills - rude staff is your achilles heel, your bagels are good.

My first time here and it was a very pleasant experience. The place is clean, the people behind the counter are very pleasant, the bagels and food are fantastic. My order was ready when I arrived and everything was as ordered. I look forward to going back.

I’m done with the typical bagel places and wanted to give this a try based on the reviews. The place smells incredible as soon as you walk in. The ladies behind the counter were super nice and it just felt like a small town shop vibe. I didn’t know they had been crowned the best bagels in Fort Lauderdale.. I walked into a gem. I got the all American with cheddar cheese and added the chive bacon cream cheese on an everything. It was so gooood. The coffee was great and the muffin was huge. I’ll definitely be back!! :)

Fresh bagels made on site, smelt like heaven inside. Delicious bagels, crispy and soft at the same time.

Bacon egg cheese bagel lacking flavor but bagel has good texture. Couldn’t eat the other sandwich because my partner does not eat cheese. If you order online and do not select cheese they still put cheese on your order. This establishment needs to implement a “no cheese” selection on their online ordering because now I’m out about $10 and a wasted sandwich.

Can’t believe I haven’t written a review of this awesome bagel place!!!! The bagels are very good but inconsistent varying from good to amazing. There apparently is more than one bagel maker and one of the s amazing and the other is pretty solid. Now on to the staff they ROCK and are the reason I come back and make this place part of my morning commute. Nicole is a rock star, she knows exactly how I like my bagel and makes my morning. Jasmine and Dolly are normally there and are awesome as well. Kudos to the staff for making each morning a great and delicious.

I stood in line for 20 mins waiting to take my order and when I got to the counter the lady told me that I had to go to the back of the line to place an order. NO ONE TOOK MY ORDER. COMPLETELY WASTE OF MY TIME! Update! They heard what happened, greeted me properly, apologized and said they got rid of that employee who was incompetent at their job. I'm very pleased with the bagel they made, best Nova bagel I've had in some time and I'm glad that I have them a 2nd chance.

Josh is a certified bagelman the best way possible and unfortunately I can't remember her name but the cashier had the most captivating eyes. She was also super sweet to boot

Placed an online pick-up order and gave a GENEROUS tip. When I picked up the order, I repeatedly asked and was assured that everything was in the bag. OJs were missing, so the cashier BEGRUDGINGLY retrieved two from the case (like she was doing me a favor). Arrived home and discovered another item was missing from the order. Returned to the store a 2nd time (while my breakfast got cold) and was met with more attitude and absolutely NO APOLOGY. Customer service is nonexistent and, in fact, the atmosphere is very unpleasant.

Good location, easy to spot from the street. The bagels were so yummy. Super soft on the inside and crisp on the outside. The variety of creme cheeses was a shock at first, it is not just plain, veggie, and onion like some places. The restaurant has limited seating but I think it adds to the cool vibe. There is a steady flow of customers. I cant forget to mention the hash browns which were crispy and fresh. If you are in the area for breakfast stop by you will not regret it.

Amazing! All I can say. I order almost everyday from them because I cannot not start my work days without their bagels and coffee. Best staff as well. Bonus. Great place and highly recommend.

Best tasting bagel I’ve had in years and very large, muffins were great. Coffee was good. If you’re in the mood for a bagel do you have to go there!

Ordered 2 muffins and a bagel ahead of time at 9am, it was still not ready at 10am. The staff wasn’t helpful at all. When it was finally ready, they forgot 1 of the muffins and I didn’t realize until I got home because the bag was stapled shut. The food was good but they need more staff and a better process.

Amazing bagels and great staff. I am very picky with my bagels, and these taste like the type of bagels I had growing up in Brooklyn. The food is delicious, the staff are kind and straightforward, and there are tables to sit and eat. The only thing that would make this place better is non-dairy creamer.

Im done with this place. Used to be our favorite, my husband has been coming for years but the past 2 years quality has really sucked. Second time they gave my husband an incomplete order. I don't understand why putting cream cheese on a bagel is so hard.... i ordered plain toasted bagel with mixed berry cream cheese. Literally 2 steps and they couldn't even handle that. Literally a BAGEL SHOP and you can't have such a simple order???? Its not rocket science. Maybe they should switch to serving just coffee because they're sandwiches are never correct. Definitely check your orders before leaving this store!!!!! Or go elsewhere. Save your money and stress.

We decided to try this bagel place for the first time. Since our other place is about 20 minutes out the way. The staff and place gives me a familiar place that I miss. I felt like I was in my neighborhood bagel place in New York. They are all friendly and have a sweet smile The bagels are delicious honestly and I couldn't stop taking bite after bite. I highly recommend this place for people who are struggling to find a good sandwich/bagel shop. We are happy to be weekly customers!

8/9/2020- wow great bagels . Doing the 6 feet apart as best as you can in a small place. I order 4 everything bagels, 4 sesame, 2 marble plus they have those flat bagels called (Flatties Peake ) . Got 2 of the sesame , So much sesame seeds so Goodchild. Was only buying one cream cheese walnut and honey, at register she said got another for only . 9 cents so I crabbed the bacon and chives . If you want they will cut them for you . Wow lots of bagels plus all kinds of cream cheese. Chives and bacon nova and cream cheese fish dip , plenty more . So kinds of bagels. We got a dozen bagels and two different tubs of cream cheese 2- walnut and honeys plus the fish dip only $16.99.

We came down for the Steeler game and was looking for a bagel place, ordered style Firenza panini and bagel breakfast sandwich, when we got there we ended up ordering a dozen more bagels and croissants. Everything was delicious, we’ll go back before we head home

Terrific bagels and staff. I'm not a weekly regular but come here frequently enough to appreciate the quality and service. Definitely the best in town. If you complain that these are not NY bagels then you should probably go to NY because, news flash, this is South FL. Treat the staff with respect and you'll get respect in return.

Absolutely love this place one of the few consistenly great spots in South Floroda which are all 50/50 if they are good. Its close to my house? So I bike there. Jasmine is the best.

This was my go to place for over a decade 2x in the last 4 weeks I’ve gotten over baked bagels that were hard as a rock and told them about it on my following visit. Dolly, who’s face would crack if she smiled, couldn’t be bothered to even apologize let alone comp me a bagel for selling bagels that should have been tossed in the garbage. The price hike bothered me but I accepted it, but bad bagels and no courtesy, that’s how you lose a long time customer.

Bagel quality is great and they have lots of options. However, they don't always listen to what you ask for. Today, I ordered a bagel with egg and meat at the counter and confirmed that I do not want cheese. When handed my order, they confirmed there was no cheese. When I got home and unwrapped my sandwich, there was cheese. I cannot eat cheese, hence why I order it without. This is the 3rd time in a row this has happened. It's sad because their bagels really are amazing, but I can't keep wasting time and money to receive food I can't eat.

First time here and was pleasantly surprised. Not a huge bagel person but was hungry and willing to give it a try. Food was hot and fresh and reasonably priced. Staff seemed very friendly as well. Would recommend.
