We went for the Friday 6:30pm Show with Jay and she was really good. She kept the crowd entertained and the band played great music. Miguel our server kept checking in and made great suggestions for the unique drinks. I will definitely recommend this Black owned and Black Staffed establishment!

I LOVE this place! NYSW is a relaxed yet classy atmosphere with a New York City/Soho vibe. There are multiple seating areas that fill up quickly. The live band played Cuban-Latin rhythms that made my temperature rise and had bodies swaying all night with musical euphoria. The walls are covered with muted bamboo, with paintings and/or lithographs of musicians and musical symbols dispersed throughout the venue. Oh, and the drinks and food are very generous too. I didn't eat but I drank, and my cocktail was "the cat's meow." I can't wait to go back!!! So, what are "you" waiting for?

Awesome staff really friendly thank you xavious! Great atmosphere and music. We actually came for the music but I would definitely go back for the food. A lovely place to dine and hear a live band. Food cooked fully from scratch you can tell. We went for ladies nigh of Wednesday where they offer 2 glasses of wine and free entry before 7pm ! Worthy for a first time visit

I really enjoyed this place. I live in South Florida but felt like I was out of town in Chicago or Detroit. Its such a nice vibe. Great ambiance, food, music & staff. I will definitely be returning more often.

Actually, it's a 2 1/2 because of the quality of the music. I went there with friends on a Saturday, 1st show. The first time out since the pandemic. I was mainly going for the live music, which I expected to be jazz. No jazz. It was R&B. And just okay R&B. Most of it slow music. As one friend said "Nothing but radio music." The best part was the guitar solo on Crazy. The music the DJ played during the break was just annoying. They have a wine and specialty drink menu. I ordered a dirty martini. The worst I've ever had. The service by Maya was excellent. My friends got sliders that they say we're tasty. It doesn't have its own parking lot. You park along the train tracks. At first I was nervous about this. Then I found that security is provided where you park. There is a cover charge. $15 for the show that starts at 6:30p and $20 for the show that starts at 9:30p. $30 if you stay for both shows. I don't know if the band changes but I was told it was 2 different shows. They do except you to wear more than jeans and a tee shirt. I liked that. My suggestion is give it a try. It could be given the name, Jazz Lounge and being from NY I expected something different as far as the music is concerned. Or it could have been an off night.

I went for a birthday party. (1st time there) The musicians were amazing! (4 on set) The songstress kept the audience engaged. There was an artist on site and the food and drinks were good. Nice vibes. πŸŽ™πŸŽΈ 🎹 πŸ₯ 🎢 πŸ’ƒπŸΏπŸ•ΊπŸ½πŸ₯³ 🎨 πŸ—πŸ”πŸΉπŸŽ‚πŸŽ‰

One of my favorite spots in town. Great food, and wonderful drinks and music. Classy, fun place for the mature crowd. Everyone from 20s to 70s, but the vibe is grown and sexy and the music is jazzy, neosoul and R&B music. Not a club. Its a jazz lounge.

It was my first time there to celebrate a friend's birthday. Our server, Shanel, was great! The food was delicious. Rita Wilburn and the band were phenomenal. The spoken word performances were diverse and thought provoking. I will definitely visit again. 😊

Want something different? Visit NYSW Jazz Lounge. Great live jazz every night. Good food. Good service. Owned by a Navy veteran. We relaxed. Sit inside or outside. Smoke cigars? You are welcomed πŸ‘. Recommended. Mostly locals but gaining a following from locals like me and tourists.

This place is sooooooo engaging and fun. I came here from Kentucky to celebrate my graduation at St. Thomas University. It was a ball of energy. The waitress Maya was really helpful in helping select food and drinks from the menu. The jazz singer, the pianist and the dj turned allllll the way up. The people around us danced and enjoyed themselves and the atmosphere was simply wonderful. The food was good and the drinks were nice. It started to rain and the roof retracted to close. I had the best time of my life. I danced, met some new friends and simply was mad that it was time to go. This lounge showed me how Floridians do it. Very grown n sexy. Not a place for silly mess. This place was very nice.

One of my favorite black owned places to attend. The music from the live band is as intoxicating as the food. Time goes back with the ebb and flow of rhythmic sounds. The speakeasy decor and friendly patrons make for an excellent time out. I don't enjoy much of the foolishness played on the radio nowadays so its refreshing to listen to real music not instructing me to be a materialistic, shallow plastic surgery barbie with a WAP.

Best blues/Jazz lounge in SoFlo! The food was phenomenal and the customer service was even better. I definitely got a family feel from everyone in attendance. If you are a local or even visiting this place is a must go!
