I was so excited to order from here. I read the reviews and I love Italian. I live 5 mins away but we had people over so I did UberEats. We spent $80 in food. 1. The meat is old. It’s dry, the roast beef is brown, the prosciutto is crusty like it’s been sitting out for days, the Italian sandwich meats were crusty and petrified. This is a food safety issue as well as disgusting. (3 sandwiches were completely inedible). 2. The antipasto - the pasta is also hard as a brick (and no not Al dente). It’s been sitting out for days and it’s gross. 3. The trio salad platter - I am shocked that a human being is capable of making a bad chicken/tuna salad. I have never had worse in my life. 0 stars for me. Go to Laspadas.

I walked in when it was empty, and just waited for 10 minutes without being acknowledged... There were 3 people behind the counter, and possibly manager barking orders... I decided they didn't need my business, so I just left. Thanks for nothing! ETA: "Hi, we'll be right with you... " would have been perfectly acceptable.

My family was in town this winter and I told them to get a hero on their way to the airport. Unfortunately the sandwich was very different from what was ordered. eg. no prosciutto and different condiments from what was ordered. A few weeks later I went to the deli to order a sandwich for myself and mentioned it to the owner. He was disappointed that a poor review was written. He said they should have come back which was impossible as they flew home. I asked for an accommodation and he said he would think about it. While making my sandwich I once again requested an accommodation and he said he would once again think about it. I paid for my sandwich and asked once again, and again the same response. I mentioned that there is local competition and he said because I said that he would not do anything to make amends. Poor customer satisfaction... As it turns out there is a great deli/ restaurant right across the street . I have ordered sandwiches and had several meals in the evening. while in Pompano. I would suggest to try it . I went to Bella Monte to buy their homemade Italian sweet sausage and a portion of their eggplant parmigiana. When I got home I cooked the sausage and it was just terrible. Had no flavor at all. I was so disappointed. The eggplant Parmigiana was just mediocre. . I have been coming to this deli over the years and I’ve always enjoyed their products. But this time I’m sorry to say that I wasn’t at all satisfied. The blonde haired lady that waited on me seemed annoyed by any question I asked her and looked at me as if I had four heads. No smile, and not Customer Service friendly at all. Basically most people are more friendly at Christmas time. But she was kind of a grouch. Sorry for this review but they need to put their best foot forward if they want to keep their customers coming back.

Complete waste of money. We went in and ordered 3 sandwiches, the total was over $50 and it took the guy behind the counter over 20 minutes to make them. They didn’t include the prosciutto we asked for despite the guy slicing it right in front of us. Extremely disappointed, do not go here or you will be too.

The meatsauce has no meat!! It's written on the container that the sauce is cooked with meat and then taken out and that the meat could be bought separately. WHAT!!! That's not meatsauce!! And ironically enough, it didn't even taste like meat, at all! Che Schifo!!

A lot of options. Still want to try them some them. But from what I’ve had so far. Sloppy sandwich presentation and the bread is NOT good. The seeded Italian taste like sliced bread with some seeds. I haven’t lost all hope tho, I’ll give them another shot.

Very slow, not a big selection of cold cuts, no gluten free products, sausage was good,its another sandwich shop and im not impressed with the shop in pompano and lauderdale by the sea. They are equivalent to subway. And I'm comparing them to n.y. dell's. It's not a solumaria.

We’ve ordered several times…2 days in a row even! I’ll visit every time I’m in town. Reasonably priced, large subs that are filling with great friendly service.

The Messy Meatball is to die for. Even has ricotta cheese in it. The subs are huge. Very friendly service. Love it!

My husband I recently moved from NY and discovered this deli on the way to the beach! Their subs and dinner entrees, both amazing. Yummy treats to choose from and the cappuccinos are 👌I love stopping by before the beach. It’s become our little tradition and treat!

I walked in and was greeted by a very nice woman behind the counter. She made the most incredible prosciutto, mozzarella and tomato hero. The store had many incredible Italian delicacies, I will be back. Thank you so much!

I only have had one Italian hero here, but it was one of the better ones I’ve had in Florida. Great variety of other food as well, and all the deli prepared food looked solid. Also, if I see Pastosa Raviolis in the freezer then I know they know what they’re doing. I’ll be back for the ravs.

Very reasonably priced. They staff can see a bit attitudinal, but they don't want to keep their customers waiting long. Very fast service. Great food. I found my new regular lunch spot

The best subs I have ever had. I've lived in Baltimore and New York. This place has been around for almost 50 yrs. Just try the Italian it's amazing! The staff provides great service. This is also a great Italian grocery store!

Wow!!! The BEST Itallian sausage in town! It’s made fresh and explodes with flavor. Exceptional deli supported with exceptional service! I can’t brag on them enough!

Wow what a charming little establishment. Full of great ingredients for Italian cooking the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I got some delicious subs and a case of Pinot Grigio!

We went for take out subs. The amount of meat they put on it was awesome!!! I ate mine for lunch and dinner. It taste great and he pleasantly made it exactly how I asked.
