I eat a lot of Mexican food. This is my first in MO. I was leary. What I was fortunate enough to eat today was one of my old favorites Camarones Also Diabla. A fish I have enjoyed many many times. This was the best I have ever had. Great food, perfect service, clean and quiet. A great experience!!!!!

I had the #2 lunch special. It is so good. New menus. I hadn't been here in almost a year. The changes really make the atmosphere lovely.

Amazing. Service is amazing. Food is amazing. Drinks are amazing! Best margaritas in town I've been to other Mexican food places an the drinks weren't near as good. I've eaten here twice but crave it all the time.prices aren't that bad. The portion sizes are pretty good. The carnitas is what I get Everytime I go to any Mexican food place. But oooof, they're carnitas are absolutely the best I've ever had out of my entire life of restaurant eating. I've had the shrimp cocktail here, and let me hollar real loud for those in the back! Get it ! It is so worth it . It has big ol chunks of avacado. It's just chunky enough and just saucy enough to have you begging for more after very bite!! The tamales are pretty good. Was kinda disappointed that they weren't full of meat but, can't complain bc they're still really really good. The chile rellenos was spot on. Oozy cheese, zesty tomato sauce, soft perfectly cooked chile, aannnddd the battered was crunchy yet still tender, not soggy at all. My boyfriend got the dumpster nachos. And the tacos El pastor. And let me tell ya. The tacos El pastor, were breathtakingly good. Along with the one little bean and hot dog soup that comes with it. I have no clue how to say it better yet spell it. 🤣🤣🤣 And the dumpster nachos, which is pretty much a huge thing of fajitas on tortilla chips. Bring an appetite coz it's HUGE.

Excellent fajitas. I can not speak to any of their other offerings but the chicken fajitas are always excellent. Large serving size, high quality meat and vegetables, fast and friendly service.

I'd say disappointing but I suppose by reputation it was expected. Ordered the biggest\best burrito to offer...unfortunately was the most bland burrito I've ever had, Pero el tamaño era triste... :\ and the waitress, I just won't begin, but 75ish dollars later we left hungry and agitated. The only advice I can offer is to go somewhere else but at the very least do NOT even bother with the margarita, lo siento pero no bueno 😕

Food is good, but will not be back with my kids because their kids meals which they do not have a menu for and just tell about verbally are more expensive than the adult meals. I have never paid $10.98 for a kids meal anywhere else.

The food here is absolutely delicious always comes out fresh and quick. And so far it's the best margarita I've had in town! Definitely recommend!

Food was awesome as always. We called to place separate orders person who answered the phone was rude and disrespectful. When we went to pick up order she was rude and had the order incorrect. Asked to speak to a manager he said she is relatively new. This is not an excuse.

The third and last time we will visit this location (too many options in Poplar Bluff). For some reason, our order (for 2 guests) took over 40 minutes without a full dining room, or an explanation to then only receive an ice cold dish for one of our entrees. The server asked if we would like to have a new one made or take it off the bill, okay, fair. The husband was hungry so a new one was made, of course, he ate his meal solo when it came out which was piping hot and he enjoyed it. What gets me is I saw the server speaking with the manager on duty explaining the mishaps and the manager (Gomez) could care less, never came over to the table or expressed any type of customer service. So $60+ later, I wanted to share I don't care either, and we will never patronize your location again.

Service is going down. Getting cheap on the toppings too. Used to be great. Now it is expensive and lacking.

We have eaten here several times now. The food is consistently very good. The top shelf margaritas are very tasty as well. Unfortunately, on our recent visit last Sunday (7/18) the service was horrible. Our waiter was extremely slow and lackadaisical. We had to ask him for everything; napkins, silverware, etc. Even after bringing us our "to go" containers we still had to request our check 15 minutes later. Very disappointing given that this is one of our favorite spots. Would've been 5 stars if not for the poor service.

Oh my gosh! This place was fantastic! First of all, we ordered the spinach artichoke dip, and it was THE best I've ever had. Wonderful flavor without the artichoke overpowering it. I also ordered a margarita on the rocks. The medium size was generous and it was a perfectly concocted cocktail 🍸. I was feeling good before I got to the bottom of the glass. I ordered the steak and portobello fajitas. They came out on a sizzling skillet and almost overflowing! The portions were very generous. I brought back enough to have a couple meals in the next couple days. The staff was prompt and courteous. They took care of us well. I also had a margarita to go. I was pleasantly surprised that it was served in a lidded mason jar. I loved that! I will most definitely be back. Honestly, I was so impressed with the dip and drink, I think that's all I want next time 😃🍹

Food was pretty good, service was good, but the restaurant was dirty and it was a bit pricey. But with inflation and food prices going up, maybe that’s to be expected. Honestly, just clean it up! We sat down at a dirty booth, with food all over the floor and all over the place.

Anytime we come to Las Margaritas we have exceptional food and service! Their staff is very accommodating especially if you have large groups or children! The staff really makes the whole experience wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend coming here for lunch dates, special dinners and to celebrate any event! They truly make you feel like family as soon as you walk through the door!

Food was disgusting. I could only eat the shrimp, rice, and beans. Everything else that you see in the picture is going in the trash. My son threw his food away after ten mins. $60 down the drain.

This restaurant has a Beautiful interior. It also offers Outdoor dining. Fabulous atmosphere. Las Margaritas' offers Authentic Latin dishes; Mexican, Central and South American cuisine. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this establishment.

I ordered the chicken nachos with the green peppers, onions, tomatoes, and really couldn't tell there was any thing on there except some chicken way to many chips and they tasted stale ..

I rate on Google quite often and so we decided to try here due to it having a 4.0 review over all. I'm surprised by this overall review because our service was not short of outstanding and our food was oh so delicious!! We had the most pleasurable lunch since we've been in Poplar Bluff. Thank you.

This used to be my favorite place to eat at. I got food from los margaritas day before yesterday and there was a cockroach in my rice and that is after I had to rebuy another Another fajita quesadia because they messed up my order .

One star because can't give zero and leave review. Food was served to our table never saw our server again and finally went to register was told he was pulled to other duties in kitchen. Asked why another server was not assigned to our table no reasonable answer provided. Food was average tasting at best service was worst experience I have ever had. Never go to this restaurant again.

We came in to have lunch and were met by an extremely rude waiter. (We were being very polite)He did not greet us what so ever and when we asked if we could have some straws for our drinks and he proceeded to throw them on the table and walk away. We then asked him to cancel our food when he got back and he smacked his gums and walked away again. For this being my first time in poplar bluff i was extremely disappointed with this experience.

My original review is below the following update. Update: This was our favorite restaurant prior to the shutdown and we couldn't wait to come back. Well, tonight was our 32nd anniversary and we could NOT have been more disappointed. Our chips were warm but they were also a mix of thin chips and thick chips. The thick chips were extremely overcooked and a much darker brown. The salsa was not at all the salsa we used to love. The white cheese dip was runny and had few, if any, green chili's in it. No flavor at all. We ordered the Nachos Margaritas and the taco beef tasted awful. Not sure what it was actually. The chicken seemed OK but the refried beans were runny. It was simply a sloppy mess. We also had the Fajita Quesadilla. It used to be my husband's favorite but it was just meh, with no seasoning, and it was barely warm. We had to add salt to everything just for a little flavor. I had a margarita which used to be the best anywhere and it was just a run of the mill margarita that I could have made at home with a mix. It's so sad to see such a great place plummet after the shutdown. We hope when things get better, Las Magaritas will be able to reboot. Original review that I stood by for a couple years ******** Best Mexican restaurant in Butler or Madison county, Missouri!!! We've tried them all and hands down this is the only place we'll come to from now on. Excellent food, fantastic service and the best margarita I've had in ages!

I order from them every once in a while using the cargo app and today the app said the store was closed so I called in to place my order. I always get the Carna Asadas when I order on the cargo app and tried to order the same thing over the phone. Came in to get my order, took it home and it was not what usually order. Called the restaurant to see if I could my order corrected and the hostess/server I was speaking to hands the phone over to the manager. I explained that I always order the Carnas Asadas using the cargo app and what I received isn't what I usually order. He told me there were two different versions of the same dish. I said "ok well can we get the correct order then?" And he says "that's not really on us since you ordered the wrong thing, it's not our fault". Really?...I beg to differ. It is literally in your job description to ensure the customer is getting the correct dish, especially when you know the dish comes in two different versions. It's like asking "chicken or beef"? And to place blame on me instead of offering to fix the situation speaks volumes. I gave their food back to them and got my refund. The manager kept trying to save face but should have just took it as a learning opportunity. Your customers don't know your menu, YOU do. Clarify and confirm with them that they're getting the right thing and save yourself the trouble of needing to issue a refund or correct the problem later.

I ordered two Tacos Carne Asada, assuming it would be the dish I normally get through the cargo app, [where it's listed as Tacos Carne Asada 11.99] , but when my food arrived it was a different/plain version. I called them immediately to see if this would be corrected, the hostess rudely stated that there's a difference, she proceeded to put me on hold, and then without a introduction or even a hint that he understood the issue the manager said "Hello, Las Margitraits," I explained my issue to him to see if this would be corrected. He said something along the lines of "our customers normally know what they're ordering," and other nonsensical rambling, there's a way to handle things and that was definitely not one of them.

Will never eat their again this is the second time we waited an hour and a half for our food then it was cold!!! I dont mind to wait the waitress was awesome!!! But 60 dollars worth of food that was cold didn't have cheese sauce on what we ordered ill never go back again!!!

Great food. We laughed because there was a chicken roaming around the parking lot.

The restaurant has been totally remodeled and is just gorgeous. It has the best ethnic wall murals that I have seen, new furniture and very nice Mexican floor tiles through out. We had the Burrito Gonzalez Plate dinner which had huge portions and expertly prepared. Food was termally hot and seasoned just right.

Too much lettuce on my food. The chips were too hard. Cheese dip was too runny barely cheesy. They weren't very compromisable with meal changes (wouldn't do a half order or do half and half separately for a dish).

If I could put a zero star I would. It's the worst Mexican restaurant I've eaten at. The place is covered in dust with dirty floors. Our booth table was broken. The food was horrible when we finally got it. I recieved my plate ten minutes before my fiance got hers. The first time they brought her plate it was for the table behind us. I wouldn't recommend it.
