Very nice experience and kids had great fun! Thanks to the museum for kids to have the opportunity to watch the big real “toys” that they always seen and play with. There are a good collection of army vehicles with very descriptive labels. There was even fabricated sounds for the jet fighters on display!

This museum has so much potential and it's a great place for the younger generation to understand the sacrifices and contributions made by the Malaysia army in the past. Sadly maintenance is not up to the mark. Most of the vehicles, cannons etc seem decent as it had a fresh coat of paint but the inner rooms are warm and without air-conditioning. The ac is there but wasn't on. The cafeteria is small but it's still okay I feel. Overall a good experience but definitely it could have been better. Entrance is free but you can donate to support the museum. Parking is limited

Spend 3D2N in Port Dickson, got spare time to bring kids to this Military Museum, good for educate the children by looking at the real Cannon car, helicopter, solider airplane although there ‘re centuries. Behind the museum there’s few mini climb board & suspension bridge. Really great for family bonding. And it’s free, no need to pay for a single cents for visiting this museum. It’s important to learn from history to helps us understand and grapple with complex questions and dilemmas by examining how the past has shaped. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Walk through the history of the Malaysian Army. This museum has indoor exhibits and the outdoor exhibits consists of tanks, cannons, personnel carriers, flak guns, helicopters and airplanes. Tip: The outdoor exhibits will keep your kids occupied. There is an outdoor memorial that shows the names of fallen soldiers. The underground tunnel is also a must visit. Its a replica of one of the many communist tunnels during the Emergency period. There is an airconditioned surau in the compound. There are 2 main buildings which showcases the Malaysian Army's history through the decades. Inside these buildings, there are different rooms for different phases/era of the Malaysian Army. Dioramas and artifacts are showcased here. Parking spots are limited and there is no entrance fee (as at the time of my review). If you're in Port Dickson and have some time to spare, this place is worth a visit.

Well, it's a nice museum with free entrance. It's pretty good and have wide collection of stuff and artefacts. Few old aircraft, trains, armoured car, cannons and artillery just sitting outside of the building. Most of it is well maintained. There parking is small. Try carpool or use taxi to get there to avoid looking for parking on weekend/public holidays. Bring water because those big attraction is outside and it's quite easy to get dehydrated. And use umbrella if you're bringing kids.

Great visit. My first time visit with kids. Its agood museum. Hopefully RAMD or governement take more acrion to maintain the building, the exhibitions items, the cafe and the facilities. Inside museum is hot with no AC and very less fan. Cafe is very poor conditions with a lot of people. Its a ourist place and always crowd over weekend. The management should have aware on the situation and should act accordingly to show a good image of RAMD Museum.

Why not? History is really interesting, and it's about the our countrymen, after all. Mad respect to our fellow soldier!

Nice place to spend time and learn about our RAMD and our fore-fathers sacrifices during WW2 and Communist insurgency. The exhibit can be improved but still interesting to explore.
