Been here last Saturday. The accommodation offered was excellent. Great hospitality. Clean room, clean pool, Cool concept as they’ve balai cerap where u can see moon here. Things in the room look old (aircond, heater, tv) but it is in perfect working condition. But maybe tv is a bit too old and needed an upgrade. Decoration in room is a bit tacky. If u come here, don’t forget to ask for sea view as the view is very nice in the morning. One more thing, I come during Ramadhan and it is my first time to sahur in a buffet style. Great! Good food. They deserve good rating.

Room very clean. Just need to change new towel. The security officer (En Hafidz) very helpful and give very good services and so friendly. Never get good service from security officer from other hotel. He should get promotedπŸ‘πŸ»

The services was excellent from the booking, payment and during stay. The room itself is ok, tidy and acceptable. They provide a kettle, set of coffee, toiletries, iron, hair dryer, sejadah and even telekung. Wifi connection is good. The toilet is big but quite old. The water heater is not functioning and the slow water pressure. Morning breakfast is good. They also had swimming pool separated man and woman, that’s the good part. Overall, it is a well maintained hotel but need some improvement with their toilet and wall.

Good hotel to stay with family. Very nice sea view since this is where sighting of new moon to indicate the starting of Ramadan and Eid takes place. This is where the biggest observatory in Malaysia is located. The horizon/ skyline is so clear where u can see a shining thin line between the sky and the sea. Awesome view. The hotel has facilities like swimming pool with good view but these pools are designated for kids, male and female adults separately. This hotel is owned by the Islamic Council of Negeri Sembilan State. You might not want to stay long because the restaurants and food stalls in Teluk Kemang area are not that great. Lucky the hotel serves variety of tasty breakfast menu and reasonable price for dine in lunch and dinner. Interesting indoor decor with many astronomical photos of the galactic space. All photos are shot using high definition cameras under the telescope.

Located nearby teluk kemang, many food surrounding. We are happy with our stay. It just so unfortunate that no view within the room, only can view a water torrent :)

To those prefer private place for holiday, you may choose Klana Beach Resort. Nice view for sunset. Breakfast is good, so many choices and suitable for kids too. You need to walk for a bit to go to the beach. So far everything is good.

Balaicerap is in the hotel gate. Here you can use to view planets of the universe from the telescope.. See how venus looks like..this place is also to find 'anak bulan syawal' during the end of ramadhan.just rm10 to enter. You can find sejadah ,telekung, alquran in the rooms. Get seaview room for nice view of sunrise and sunset. On Saturday night the hotel has 'pasma night' in short for pasar malam night. You can taste hotel food with reasonable price. There are sittings provided so you can enjouly the scenery and foods. Pasma night starts 6.30pm-10pm. Outside pool is available for adults and kids. Walk along a seaside jetty hotel for a nice walk

Rooms are reasonably clean and well kept. Complete toiletries provided for 2 pax. The staff does their job well. They do assist you whenever necessary. The major plus point for me is their warm pool. There's 3 pools. General pool, women's pool and kids pool. There's a slide in the kid's pool for kids aged 12 and below. Towels are offered for drying off after swimming. You can access the beachside via a sidewalk. But it's a bit difficult if the waves are crashing down on you. Great place for photographs The only downside to this place is that they have a terribly managed buffet breakfast. Not much is fine to prevent flies. During my 2nd stay, it was slightly lesser flies but still too much flies for a supposedly grade A restaurant. They placed lemongrass candles around the food but it doesn't help much. They should look into electrical options and keep the door closed. Beverages provided is good enough. But the western breakfast is terrible. Potato wedges not cooked all the way, no eggs served at all. There's an option to boil your own eggs. Which is strange. No breakfast sausages. Nasi lemak served with 2 side dishes. Salty sambal but otherwise okay. Rice was cold. Sliced boiled eggs provided but flies everywhere. Sliced bread with an assortment of spread. For the price we're paying, it wouldn't hurt to add on some muffins or and other baked good. During my 2nd stay, sliced beef was served. So salty! Had to discard the beef and the cold plain mee hoon. I would want them to at least provide some form of eggs, either omelette or scrambled. And keep the food hot. We resorted to eating cereals cuz at least it's all covered. I hope they improve on this.

First time menginap disini. Actually sampai kat Port Dickson tak tau mana nak stay. My daughter suggest this place so we booked for one night. We arrived around 2 when we checked in we were told we have to wait till 3. We decided to walk and see the surrounding. We were surprised with the scenery. There are three swimming pools children, male & female. AWESOME! The beauty of the surrounding was breath taking. I was glad we choose this place. When we checked in the room was so clean and spotless. I really impress. The next morning my husband & I had our breakfast facing the sea. After breakfast we had a walk at the beach.... romantic. Thanks Klana for a wonderful time..

Nice hotel for family. For honeymoon too. Nice sunset can be seen from the room. Love the room decor. Like you are a part of the universe. The breakfast is good. Many choices of food. You should try to stay a Klana Beach Resort. For sure, I will come and stay again at Klana Beach Resort.

Pros: location, price, service, bfast, scenery Cons: the rooms seriously need to be upgraded. New paint job, tiling, towels, etc. The towels esp need to be well cleaned with Clorox since they look more grey than white. Better yet, just get new towels and throw away the old ones.

Room is spacious and clean with full amenities provided, staff is quick to response to our queries, buffet breakfast is okay which I think is equivalent the price they are charging, I only pay RM12 for my son buffet breakfast!..the swimming pool is strategically located near to the edge of the hilltop hotel, where we get to enjoy far sight of ocean view while swimming..I must say the security guard is protective..it is OK, as long as they are not overdoing it ;) I thought they just wanna make sure that the kids are behaving themself. we had to walk passed the parking lot to get the the swimming pool..no fuss at all. there is Islamic touch /feel when you get to hear verses of Quran over the pipe music, and also dedicate pool for muslimah...there is kinda street food fair on Saturday night but it was closed at 10.00pm...we wanted to sit and enjoy the night view with coffee and possibly some munchies, but were told that they are closing at 10.00pm...may be the Mgmt could consider extending the hours...we were given 20% discount coupon for our next visit....Overall we enjoyed the stay, thought it was short 2D/1N stay...Qudos to the hotel Mgmt and Staff.. Insyaallah will be be coming back soon.

For a budget staycation with a beautiful open sea, this hotel wins it. The room needs a major upgrade since it was like a an low cost apartment .Water stain and the room’s cleanliness is 2/5. Food just nice, got taste and need to variety. The aircond needs to replace, so noisy and I did not got my deep sleep. Suitable for a family staycation.

Ideal for solo female guest as it is safe location, quiet and clean. There is even a ladies only small swimming pool.Hotel might be a little old refurbishing wise but main point is the β›±. The observatory across the hotel was closed unfortunately. Located strategicly near Tanjung Tuan with vantage point to the sea and good hiking.

Cosy for me, husband and 2kids..we booked last minute for one night stay with cheap price than normal (maybe due to the rise of covid cases) The super single bed is spacious enough for an adult and a kid in fact can fit 2adults. I was amazed by the 'shariah compliance' hotel concept where not many can find. Furthermore not many hotel provides praying mat but this hotel provides 'telekung and kain pelikat' too for praying purpose..this is my first time! Basic bathroom with basic amenities. Sanitisation everywhere..nice pool separated men & women. Nice view if u get seaview room. Friendly staff, excellent location with observatory building infront and near with kemang beach. Overall satisfied!

Good ocean view, you can walk from the hotel to the beach by stairs. The cheapest room quite big but the TV quite old school. Got prayer mat and telekung. Breakfast okay. Buy direct from their website got discount. Mantap.

best place for family vacation room was very clean and tidy window sea view swimming pool for kids and adults free gift - hand sanitizer breakfast - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ parking - free and near to hotel. (open park) to improve - tower hotel bit smelly overall = 8/10🌟

Room was okay, service was good especially the staff. They are all very friendly and helpful. Food however need to improve especially lunch and dinner buffet. Hire local Negeri Sembilan chef to cook Negeri Sembilan traditional food. Sometimes the buffet is not up to par but western food and breakfast buffet is fine. Mee goreng, kuey teow goreng, nasi lemak, roti canai, omelette and juice are marvelous. Overall, there's a room for improvement for food department 😁

Room has tons of stains, chipped walls, and we found a used mask on the floor. Lights and kettle aren't working and noisy aircon in the room. Practically no facilities. Has a tiny pool basically just for soaking. Food here is decent, location is good and service is fine. But definitely would not revisit.

Not recommended. Stayed two nights. Our room didn't cleaned up when we back to our room at 4pm. Also there were no hand towel and no face towel provided. I saw a hand towel on a cart and asked the staff for the towel. The staff refused it. Just can't believe it.

Fantastic location. In teluk kemang, besides the beach, great view, ambience, good breakfast, fun kids pool. Every Saturday got mini pasar malam for hotel guest. Near one of the best food stall in PD where u can basically eat everything. Will come again next time. The only downside, the mini pasar malam on Saturday food is on the expensive side.

  • 5/5 cindy s. 10 months ago on Google
Staffs are attentive and kind. Breakfasts are up to standard but there are quite a lot of flies. Food stalls on Sat night is delicious with reasonable price. The panoramic seaview from the hotel is amazing, can walk to Telok Kemang beach through staircase and swim nearby but watch out as the beach near hotel has a lot of hard and sharp stone. Room is satisfied, the only complaint is the hairdryer inside wardrobe a bit dusty. Toothbrush is provided upon requested. Btw this is shariah compliant hotel so non muslims are advisable to wear appropriately as respect.

Rooms were clean and tidy..Great place for a getaway from the KL City for a good rest. Food at the in-house restaurant was not bad given it was the Raya holidays. Sea side is within walking distance which has a cleaner seabed and water.

It's a family holiday. Prior to that, we were at Genting. It's about a kilometer from the main road, easy parking. Every Saturday, the resort introduced their own food court at the entrance. Nice change. If not, either take a resort own restaurant or drive outside. There's a lot of local restaurants. Quite fR. There's pools at the resort. During our stay there's lots of patrons, mostly families as its still school holidays. My families like the resort. Will visit again InsyaaAllah.

First, the location is good, you will get a breathing view n get to the beach easily (walk over will do ) πŸ˜‰ But their swimming pool is really small, and you need to walk for about 3 minutes to reach.(near the carpark) Room is just average, you can't ask for more for this price.(I think the highlights is their location)

  • 4/5 Suren D. 8 months ago on Google
A standard 3 star hotel located near to beach (2 minutes walking distance via staircase). A muslim friendly hotel. Separate swimming pool for females. Swimming is only allowed at designated place which is another 5 minutes walk at beachside. Sufficient parking and good location. Room is average as refurbishment and maintenance need to be done. Room size is good for family or couples. Breakfast is okay but service is required to improve as foods were empty when i was at 9am. Overall good to stay for 1 night or you are looking for a cheap and standard hotel.

The surrounding is quiet, not far from the beach. Check in was smooth, but after we checked out around 10am, they still called me around 2pm and asked if I have checked out πŸ˜… Room is ok, just that the house keeping forgot to give towels, still can see there are hairs on the floor, the handle of the shower head is a bit dirty, tap water flow is slow. Breakfast is basic and not much variety, taste below average.

Nice scenery, facing the sea. However have to walk quite far to get to a beach. Room is clean and grateful towards hotel's initiative in sanitize the room before guest check in. Swimming pool is great as the water is warm even after morning's rain.

The price was quite high but given that u have a free pass to the planetarium and the scenary was amazing, it was worth the money. Plus, there was a hidden stairs that leads to a 'private' beach. So u can escape the crowd beach which is a plus point as Port Dickson is ALWAYS CROWDED. However it was very dirty. The beds were yellowish with brown stains. The pillows had reddish stains, giving the impressions of blood. The plates had stains from the previous meals. The room were quite small too

My favourite hotel in Port Dickson. Love the fact that the Teluk Kemang Observatory is right in front of the hotel where we could visit. This time had a peek at Saturn. The hotel is comfortable, parking is easy and quite peaceful with the sounds of waves crashing.

The concept of this hotel is very nice and Syariah compliance but they need serious upgrade, especially the mattress and toilet. I love how we can walk around and enjoy the view of the sea & surrounding. It was beautiful! We can also access the Telok Kemang Beach. I love it and might come back some day. Final verdicts, recommended if you are fine with basic accommodations and want easy access to the beach

Superb location; strategically located at the heart of Teluk Kemang, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. Breathtaking views from the swimming pools & hotel. Syariah compliance & the rooms equipped with Sejadah, Telekung & Kain Pelikat. Clean rooms & friendly staffs always welcome to assist.

Dirty, moldy, room did not seemed cleaned, Aircon semi functional and very loud, breakfast was mediocre and no real coffee, a la Karte coffee only available after breakfast is finished. Had dinner at restaurant, lamb chops were over done, I asked for medium, they also brought me the wrong sauce.

If you are a beach person you will not like this place due to the location. It is located on a high cliff. You have to go down a steep staircase probably about 80 - 100 steps down. Then you have to walk over some sharp rocky area about 30 steps to reach the beach on the right side. That's during low tide. If it's high tide... you will have to go to other beach because in my opinion it is dangerous to go into the water from that area due to the sharp rock below. The room is ok and spacious. Quite clean. The aircond is fantastic. The bathroom needs upgrading. The cafeteria is nice. You can have indoor or outdoor seating facing the sea. They have out door pools... 3 pools... Man & women's pool separated by concrete wall and a wadding pool for kids. There's ample parking space. As you enter the hotel area there's a security guard at the entrance 24/7. The staff is polite and friendly. The are always eager to help if you ever need assistance or info.

The resort is owned and managed by the state's Islamic council (Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Sembilan) or MAINS.Thus it is implied that the premise is shariah compliant (services and activities complies with the principles of Islamic law) and food served is definitely halal. The resort is made famous as it is the location of the Teluk Kemang Observatory, where every year it will be used twice in the sighting of the moon to signifies the start and the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Staffs are ever friendly and helpful. Parking space is ample albeit every weekend nights the front road will be closed to allow for outdoor dining. A special session is held every night around 8.30pm to 9.00pm is dedicated for sighting of the moon, provided the sky is clear using a telescope provided by the resort at the foyer area. Room is properly cleaned and sealed, as part of the current pandemic standard operating procedure or SOP. Therefore cleanliness is not an issue, in fact it is highly maintained. In conclusion, the price is very reasonable comparing the level of service and facilities.

I went here to eat buffet food only at their restaurant cafe. Food choices arent that much but with RM35 per head I think its worth it. Dishes are common and can be find outside. Not suitable for kids because the dishes are mostly spicy. Nice view while eating here overlooking the sea.

Pro: The place is in strategic location. -beach -observatory deck -many restaurants nearby Good spread of breakfast Friendly staff Con: Room cleanliness was below par as we noticed hair and stain spots and despite few calls to Housekeeping, they didn't come over to clean it. No alcohol and non halal consumption allowed

Alhamdulillah I had my holiday with my husband here. We liked it here because 1. The seaview is MashaAllah fantastic 2. We got our keys earlier than scheduled. 3. Reception customer service. However, I was so disappointed on these matter 1. Cleanliness of the room and toilet. Crumbs and dust! Toilet stains! 2. Customer service of the lady staff at the pool. Why does she not let us in since we already booked with the reception? It's up to the customer what time between the range that they have booked at reception right.. Haiya.. Then she used kau aku.. What.... 3. Wifi! Why is this amenity unreachable? 4. Yong chow fried rice not up to expectation. It is the same with klana fried rice. 5. Observatory was closed during our visit.

Staff were super-friendly and being very helpful. The guards were doing a great job in assisting us to get a parking spot. I love how the hotel plays surahs from the quran ocassionally. Even the lobby toilet was clean. You'll get the access to the beach/bay by using stairs. It's not as crowded as teluk kemang. In fact, you may have all the beach to yourself. However, foods can be improved. The vanilla sauce for bread & butter pudding was too sweet. Tasted like as if it was just plain evaporated milk. Omelette was half cooked and too oily. Other things were fine. Highly recommended.

The hotel ambience was good. The room quite old and have many defect. The room is clean and equipped with a lot of amenities such as prayer mat, telekung, Quran and so on. There is a lot of improvement could be made for the room especially on the defect. The location quite strategic with a lot of restaurant nearby. The inhouse food is quite delicious but do not have many variety. But personally I don't mind as long as the food serve is good. From the hotel we could see the seaview and there is a walkway. Such a peaceful environment. Personally, this is good 3 star hotel compared to others 3 star that I had previously stayed. I totally love it!
