This is one of my favourite places in Kingston to have fish. I usually get the fried fish and I have never been disappointed. I believe I get value for my money in terms of quantity and taste. It took some time for the food to be ready but it is expected since the food is done to order. The restaurant was clean and being two storey there is the option to dine upstairs or on the ground floor. The ground floor is ideal for persons in wheelchair or, like in my case, with a baby in a stroller. This area appears to be good to host an event as well based on how it is set up. The menus were shabby looking and unappealing but that wasn't a big deal to me. I visited on a weekday. The service was good and the waitress was polite. Overall, a good experience.

It's a great place for family get together or even to celebrate. The food is also great and its affordable.

As usual you gotta wait a while for the food. Didn't wait long this time around cause the place wasn't crowded. One thing with Gloria's though, they gonna cook dem rice & peas perfect EVERYTIME!! LOL & there festivals are always perfect too. Don't get me started on the fish!

Went before covid sat upstairs got great service but it took long, tonight Lady told us 45 mins for the order 3 hours later no food, after trying to find out if the food was started, a lot of going around, they only started after we stood up at the desk, eventually after waiting so long and excuses we decided we no longer wanted to eat there as only half the order seemed to be ready, eventually we left hungry and unhappy for my wife's birthday and now we're heading home at 10pm. Many other customers were there before and after us upset and hungry, we just left because of the poor handling of the situation, I do hope the other ppl there for the birthday and graduation got their food because they seemed really hungry Gloria's please work on your establishments quality

The food is amazing, I always make sure to stop by on my trips to Jamaica. Celebrated my three years wedding anniversary with my family from New York ❤

Fry chicken with fries and sweet potato meal took 1 and a half hours to be ready. Chicken was served, then 7 minutes after the sweet potato arrived, then 10 minutes later the fries. Improvement needed regarding the timeframe and how the meal is served.

Omg!!!!! This place is amazing! The steamed fish is a must. Though it tasted better the first time I had it 3 years ago. It still doesn't take away from this place being a mist try in Kingston. Sit upstairs!!! You'll thank me later

The fried bammy was too dry, the fried and steamed fish were good, the lobster was great and the curry coconut shrimp was a bit over cooked. Took a while to get a menu but other than that, It was a good experience✨

Wait time for food was a little long but the food was fantastic, hence worth the wait! Will definitely return.

Food here was sooooo good !! Went for lunch time with a group of 6 people and everyone enjoyed their food. I got the spicy shrimp with festival. Others in my group got parrotfish fried. We also got fried plantain. Everything was delicious. Would definitely return.

Waited over an 1 hour to get served. The when we did get served my steamed bammy was too mushy and the brown stew fish was too ketchupy. The fried fish and bammy was great. The grilled lobster was overcooked. The meat was hard. The environment is good though. Very airy and nice for a big group.

Father’s Day nightmare. I know many underestimate the day, but a reputable establishment like Glorias should never. It took 30 minutes to be seated and another two hours for food. My oxtail was served cold. A lot of the side orders never made it to the table. We had to remind the waitress of what was outstanding. The two stars are solely for the food. Gloria’s quality will never miss; especially the Curry Coconut Fish. Everything was freshly prepared and you could taste it.

The food was excellent, well prepared and presented. It was very affordable and the ambience was good as well, just wish for a better sea view. Overall the customer service was great and food was excellent. I would recommend to anyone looking a private chill spot

Really lovely. Atmosphere is what I like the most. Ocean view, sea breeze. Phenomenal. I'm mostly there chasing sunrises and get an early morning swim.

Food was awesome quiet environment

I had dinner there on November 18th. Great atmosphere, great food but lousy service. Overall had a great dinner the fish was very fresh like it was caught the of. Great place to have meal.

Visited for new years eve dinner and was quite happy with the service...amazing waiter and staff...group of 5 and all meals were ready within an hour....that curried shrimp was to die for

The fish is great here, the quality of the food is constant but I find that the atmosphere is slowly deteriorating. With such an excellent product the service which includes the atmosphere should be top notch.

I had a good time at Gloria’s, this visit was actually for Christmas Staff Lunch. To my surprise you get TWO (2) fish with the fish meals. The servings are huge. I had fish soup to start, then the Roasted Fish and Festivals. I enjoyed my fish, I wish it had the option of callaloo stuffed rather than okra stuffed for the roast. But we had an overall good time. I’ll be back!

The food was excellent. We didn't have to wait too long for it. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because their credit card machine was down. In this day and age, not many people walk with cash. The exchange rate was bad as well. And there was no ATM on the premises.

My second visit to this location. The staff are friendly and professional. They were very prompt with service. The food was well presented but I am afraid it wasn’t the best tasting fried fish for me, it was OK.

Food is good! Money well spent. However, something must be done to limit the swarm of mosquitoes in the evenings. They r a nuisance!

The food was great as usual, the service was ok. Sorry about the pics, but once the food arrived, I could not stop to take pics 😆 🤣. I found out the secret is to get there by 2:00pm. The male bathroom is still out of service.

Food very flavorful and tasty. My friend I had lunch and it was great. They have two restaurant if you want fresh air and great seafood the place to go. Customer service good. Steam fish 🐟 😋 I had with festival and green plantain

Food was good. Not the best ambience but you feel like you're on the islands with the palm trees & breeze from sea nearby. The service needs help. Limited staff & not very friendly, but like I said food was good.

I went here on a Friday because i felt to treat myself. Best place for a large group or a relationship type of date. Prices are reasonable, food is delicious, waitress that serve me had a good mannerisms. I highly recommend. *Please like my review/page if my review help you*

Food taste wonderful

The service is friendly, though it can be a bit slow at times, but the food when it eventually comes is well worth the wait... The fish is wonderful, my favourite being fried/ escovitch fish with bammy and festival.. The scotch bonnet pepper slices with onion and carrot are deliciously spicy... There are two Gloria's restaurants, one in the centre of Port Royal and the other on a left turn towards the sea, just before you reach the town centre. Both Gloria's have their own ambience but I would say that the one on the beach side has an unfortunate approach road vista of a piece of wasteland with a dererlict car at the centre, surrounded by plastic garbage and I even spotted a rooting pig and a few scavenging dogs, this needs to be rectified..... This area could so easily be turned into a low maintenance cactus park with sea grape and local palms, it could then be an added attraction to the tourists who disembark their cruise ships at the recently built docking facility. These tourists come to see the "Wickededst city in the world", not the wickedness of litter louts..... But hey... I've digressed, great local sea food .

The food is generally good. The prices were pretty reasonable. However, the recent increase of $2300 is a steep increase. I'll have to cut back from every Friday to once a month.

So I went for brunch with my friends the other day. I haven't been for awhile so a few things weren't clear but we'll get to that part soon enough. While there the waitress came n took our order (without paper) she legit had a pen in her hand only and by the time she got to me she looked confused. I'm just there thinking "she's about to forget the orders" and she did then came back to take our orders all over again. It took about 10 minutes before she came to ask us if we wanted drinks then she wasn't aware of what was actually there n was back n fourth but I kind of understood that when we were leaving seeing as the juice truck was just delivering. We got our food in good time and it was good as usual. When we were finish and ready to leave she gave us one big bill without asking if we wanted separate or one which should have been an option. Earlier I said that we haven't been there in awhile so we didn't remember if we were supposed to pay her or to go down to the cashier and sis didn't even look back at us

The fish is always delicious here. This location is the original spot. Best for large groups. Unfortunately because it is the oldest location it is in need of a decor update but for a local, I don't mind. Bathrooms were clean. Waitresses were polite. Theres an upstairs open setting where persons can feel the cool sea breeze. The wait for food is shorter than the more popular frequent location but TIP: Call in and order half hour before you arrive. By time you've been seated, your food will be ready.

Very slow service, place was not attractive , staff not knowledgeable on the availability of items on the menu or drinks. Great location to hang out for a few relaxing hours.
