Awesome place to stay I went with a number of friends and the accomodation was great and the food was exceptional. We had a person who's allergic to gluten and they would make a separate meal just for them someone else didn't like cheese and got a separate meal for just them. Victoria and Geoff are very friendly people and go out of there way to make the stay more special. Definitely going again and 100% recommend for anyone else to go.

Geoff & Vic run this amazing place in the pyrenees, superb to stay at and use as a base for all kinds of mountain fun, but especially of the two wheeled variety. A cycling Mecca, a motorcyclists nirvana.

What a hidden gem in the Pyrenees! Perfect base for summer activities & I imagine for winter ones too. Less than two hours from Toulouse airport on good roads. The hosts Geoff & Victoria are very hospitable, attentive & friendly. Recommend taking up the evening meals option - freshly cooked using local & in some cases home grown produce. Perfect after a day in the fresh air. A relaxing place to stay with spacious, spotlessly clean rooms, oh & the views! Wow! . The lounge was a nice place to chill out in & enjoy pre & post dinner down time.

Used the chalet as a base whilst trekking in the Pyrenees. Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. We had a hire car and parking was easy out front. Both Geoff and Vic made the stay enjoyable and the well needed food in the evening was excellent! Would happily return.

It was such a relief to arrive at the Free Range Chalet after a long day and a delayed flight. Our hosts Vic and Geoff made us feel at home right away and were extremely kind and welcoming despite the late hour. The chalet is tastefully decorated and my room was spacious as well as very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. There are no TVs in the bedrooms but excellent WIFI access and there is a TV in the lounge along with an honesty bar and plenty of comfortable seating. The front garden also has plenty of seating to enjoy the long summer evenings. Vic and Geoff are very knowledgeable about the region and all the activities the town and surrounding areas can offer. I would definitely go back :)

Recently got back from a week at the beautiful "The Free Range Chalet". I had a fantastic stay. We had a tailored vegan week which included transport to start and pickup of our hikes, pack lunches, 3 course dinners and not forgetting the 4pm tea and cake (wish work could provide this🤣). Vic and Geoff were very friendly, approachable and informative, advising us on our hikes and the general area. I would definitely come back. I highly recommend The Free Range Chalet. Thank you Vic and Geoff!

Great place to stay when cycling or hiking in the surrounding Pyrenees area. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Option available for evening meal and honesty bar there too, which is a lovely sociable touch.

Gorgeous house, with great attention to detail in the design. Everything felt really comfortable and relaxed during my stay with these friendly hosts. Very good quality mattress, plenty of hot water, really nice food. Honestly couldn't have asked for more!

😐 Some others moaned about the price of beer, but we found wine to be far better value! The clouds came down and stopped us going for our planned walk, so instead we enjoyed a reviver in the large communal room adorned with typical alpine stuff like skis, deer skulls, and old photos. Lots of interesti...
